Abstract

The purpose of this article are (1).  Education process could be shown on the spread of education result that pointed at the experience  effect concerning with the self development (mind), characters and physical ability. (2) education system that should be known of each teacher there are four competences. They are proffessional competence, social competence, individually competence and paedagogic competence. (3) the knowledge that must be mastery consist of the value and moral of scientific that consistent and resposible to the professionality of  teacher duty giude. Abstract

Study which used in this research is Malut Post and Posko Malut as mass media of jurnalistic aims to (1) To identify and classify the type of pragmatic meanings titles in a newspaper of Malut Post and Posko Malut. (2) To identify and analyze the pragmatic meaning in the newspaper article. (3) To explain why the pragmatic meanings used in the title of both newspaper. This research use descriptive qualitative method. Procedure data collected by using observation, technical note and interview techniques to identify the types of pragmatic meanings used the theory of pragmatics (implicature, presupposition, and speech acts). Based on the analysis conclussion are implicature, speech acts, presuppositions, illocutionary and perlocution speech acts. Article titles contain the news about politics and government, crime, moral issues, economic and development activities, health and prosperity of society, welfare, education, technology, sports, human interest, and war and diplomacy. Conclusions on this research that some factors caused by pragmatic meanings should be use with briefly, concise, effective, and interesting. Other while the message of information delivered with through, concise, clear, easy to understand and interesting. With the hope of pragmatic meanings uses in language learning needs in schools from primary to university level. Key words: pragmatics meaning, title, newspaper articles

Abstract

Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini untuk menganalisis nilai karakter cerita dongeng dalam pembelajaran tematik tema 7 kebersamaan kelas II SD. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan yaitu menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi pustaka. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan observasi dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan analisis hasil penelitian nilai karakter dalam Pembelajaran Tematik Tema 7 Kebersamaan Kelas II SD dapat disimpulkan bahwa dari kelima cerita dongeng tersebut dapat dianalisis bahwa ada dua cerita dongeng yang memiliki nilai karakter paling banyak yaitu masing-masing mengandung lima nilai karakter. Dongeng yang paling banyak mengandung nilai karakter yaitu dongeng yang berjudul “Kecerdikan Menumbuhkan Kebaikan” dan “Kiki dan Kiku”. Dari dua cerita dongeng tersebut, dongeng “Kiki dan Kiku” memiliki kalimat atau dialog yang paling banyak dalam cerita dongeng dari kelima nilai karakter yaitu nilai karakter kerja keras, rasa ingin tahu, komunikatif, cinta damai, dan peduli sosial.

Abstract

Pengembangan kemampuan berpikir kreatif (KBK) dan cara mengukurnya menjadi salah satu tujuan pembelajaran matematika. Kemampuan berpikir kreatif adalah kemampuan berpikir dalam memecahkan masalah matematika tidak rutin atau kemampuan memecahkan masalah dengan soal matematika open-ended problem. Dengan kata lain, salah satu cara mengukur kemampuan berpikir kreatif adalah dengan soal open-ended problem, yaitu soal matematika yang memiliki beragam solusi atau strategi penyelesaian. Cara lainnya adalah dengan metode problem posing, yaitu pembuatan soal, pertanyaan, atau pernyataan terkait soal atau situasi matematis tertentu. Kedua cara tersebut digunakan untuk mengukur aspek-aspek kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis, yaitu kelancaran, keluwesan, kebaruan, keterincian, dan kepekaan. Dalam artikel ini akan dikaji pengertian berpikir kreatif matematis dan cara mengukurnya disertai beberapa contoh soal atau tugas untuk mengukurnya.

Abstract

The objectives of this research to knew the students capability and competence in writing poetry and then increasing of their learning result by using audio visual media. The method used in this research was qualitative descriptive and the type of the research are classroom action research. The data collecting used some kinds of tools like; observation, test and instrument. The result of the research conducted and categorized well done or succeed in implemented. It could be seen on the indicators reached by the students from the first cycle. There were 6 (23.70%) students complete their grade while 24 (26.30) students were incomplete of their grade. In the second cycle there were 22 (92.03%) of students were complete their writing poetry while 2 students needs to be observed and additional learning in progress planning. Thus, concluded that these media and it capable to use in improving children’s develop wring skill.

Abstract

The research objectives consist of (1) To increase students reading comprehension understanding in using Know Want and To Learn strategy and (2) To Describe the students reading comprehension ability in using this teaching strategy by the students of 5th grade  SD Inpres Halmahera Barat. Classroom action research has become the kind or type of research that used it. Thus the research consists of planning, action, observation, and reflection. Also, this research used quantitative and qualitative approaches in determining the data analysis. The data considered by the testing process, observation activities (between students and teachers), and also students post-test. The result of both cycles was as follows: (1) the student’s reading comprehension ability score averages at the first cycle were 70 and in the second cycle became 95. It means that the learning strategy functions better in the process and also students’ capability in reading comprehension learning objectives is reached.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui bagaimana penggunaan role play dalam meningkatkan kemmapuan berbicara sisiwa kelas IV SD Negeri 3 Guruapin, serta untuk mengetahui sejauhmana penggunaan role play dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berbicara siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 38 Kota Ternate. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di kelas IV dengan melibatkan 37 siswa dan guru kelas sebagai sumber data. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan 2 siklus pembelajaran. Setiap siklus terdiri dari 4 tahapan, yakni perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Penelitian dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Setiap sikluas dilaksanakan dua kali tatap muka. Dari hasil penelitian tindakan kelas tentang penggunaan role play dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berbicara siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 38 Kota Ternate dapat ditemukan bahwa siklus I terdapat 18 siswa atau 48.64% siswa dinyatakan tuntas belajar, sementara 19 siswa atau 51.35% siswa dinyatakan belum tuntas. Kemudian meningkat pada tindakan siklus II yaitu sebanyak 30 siswa atau 81.08% dinyatakan mencapai ketuntasan belajar, dan terdapat 7 siswa atau 18.91% siswa dinyatakan belum tuntas. Adapun peningkatan dari tindakan siklus I ke siklus II adalah sebesar 31.44%. Kata Kunci:  Bahasa Indonesia, Berbicara, Role Play

Abstract

The objectives of these research was to developed student’s competence of writing a paragraph in using Concept sentence. These Classroom action research held at the 3rd grade of SDN 20 West Halmahera at the year of 2018-2019. The type of this research was classroom action research and consist of two cycles that includes in planning, action, observation and reflection. The technique that used in this research were, observation, interviews and evaluation. The result of this researched concluded that in using concept sentence increased students competence in writing a paragraph proved by some items consisted of (1) concept sentence correctly implemented (2) the setting or placement of the punctuation and letter were correctly (3) the students chosen of words in thir thought based on the key words (4) the interrelation of each sentence in a paragraph was correctly design.Key Words: Improving, concept sentence model, writing paragraph

Abstract

The objective of this research were to incerased students in reading comprehension at the 4th grade concluded that (1) highly speed reading without ignoring the students understanding, to gained the fact information, special fact and conclusion (2) the percentage of reading comprehension technique scanning in each cycles level of learning activity  became high. The result of each cycle by the implementation scanning technique  to improve speed reading showed at the first cycle was  4 (47,94%) students were achieved the KKM of 17 students, while the second cycle the students learning activities achieved  14 (76,95 %) of completeness of the students result. Based on the result of the implementation scanning technic using  in speed reading concluded that this technic could be used as a  strategy and technique in achieved the  students reading competence and students developing skills in learning a language skill at SD Negeri 35 Kota Ternate and could be threaten in another elementary  school level.

Abstract

Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini yaitu (1) mengetahui proses peningkatan kemampuan berbicara melalui model Talking Stick dipadu dengan media kartu cerita pada siswa kelas III SDN 12 Kota Ternate, (2) mengetahui hasil peningkatan kemampuan berbicara melalui model Talking Stick dipadu dengan  media kartu cerita pada siswa kelas III SDN 12 Kota Ternate. Proses penerapan  model Talking Stick dipadu dengan media kartu cerita dibagi dalam beberapa langkah kegiatan pembelajaran sebagai berikut : (1) Membagi siswa dalam 5 kelompok, (2) Membagi kartu cerita kepada setiap siswa, (3) Memberikan penjelasan  mengenai model pembelajaran Talking Stick  dipadu dengan media kartu cerita, (4) Siswa berdiskusi dengan teman kelompoknya, kemudian masing-masing menulis tentang peristiwa seperti pada kartu cerita yang telah di bagikan, (5) Setelah itu siswa membuat sebuah lingkaran, (6) Guru memberikan tongkat kepada seorang siswa, sambil menyanyikan lagu siswa menggulir tongkat kepada temannya, (7) Siswa yang mendapatkan tongkat, harus berbicara di depan kelas sesuai materi yang diterima. Peningkatan kemampuan berbicara melalui  penerapan model Talking Stick dipadu dengan media kartu cerita yang menunjukan ketutasan siswa  sebesar 25% atau 6 siswa yang tuntas  dari 24 siswa yang mengikuti proses pembelajaran di kelas dengan jumlah nilai rata-rata pada siklus I adalah 56,50%. Sedangkan pada siklus II pesentase siswa  meningkat menjadi 87,50% atau 21 siswa yang tuntas dari 24 siswa yang mengikuti proses pembelajaran dikelas dengan jumlah nila rata-rata pada siklus II adalah 73,25%. Oleh karena itu, penerapan model Talking Stick dipadu dengan media kartu cerita ini dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berbicara pada siswa kelas III SDN 12 Kota Ternate yang dilihat dari hasil siklus I dan siklus II.
