Abstract

Abstract: The research was to determine utilization of organic waste with starter fluid cow rumen raw material for biogas production in March and May 2015. Results of the study are used to enrich the teaching materials in the form of  biology modules vocational school Agriculture on the concept of waste management. This research was carried out by two phases: experimentation and enrichment modules. Research conducted experiments using completely randomized design (CRD) non factorial, which consists of 4 treatments and 3 replicates in order to obtain 12 experimental design. If there is a real test there will be a further test Duncans Multiple Range Test (DMRT) at 5%. The parameters observed biogas volume, the color of the flame, calor and power. Enrichment module is performed on the stage of analysis and design. The results showed that the use of organic waste with starter fluid cow rumen could potentially produce methane gas as a source of biogas. Treatment A (25% substrate: 75% starter) are best produce biogas with a biogas volume of 11.57 L, color blue flames, calorific value 5670 J and power 132.98 watts for 28 days of fermentation. The results could be used as an module enrichment for biological  subjects Agriculture  vocational school on the concept of waste management. Keywords: Module, Organic Waste, Fluid Cow Rumen, Biogas.

Abstract

Abstract: There have been experimental studies to examine the use of oil palm fronds waste to raw material for charcoal briquettes and the results of this study can be used as an enrichment of teaching materials in the form of vocational biology modules on the subject of the utilization of waste. This study was conducted from March to June 2015. The method used in this study is an experiment using a completely randomized design (CRD) with 4 treatments performed 5 times repeat the treatment given is as follows (1) Charcoal oil palm fronds non sieve (B0), (2) Charcoal midrib palm oil is refined by sieve size of 30 mesh (B1), (3) Charcoal palm fronds were mashed with a 50-mesh sieve (B2), (4) Charcoal palm fronds were smoothed with a sieve size of 70 mesh (B3). Parameter studies that measured the water content, ash content, levels of substance evaporates, the density and firmness press. Treatment with a 70 mesh sieve (B3) to be most successful for the manufacture of charcoal briquettes compared to the treatment of non sieve (B0), treatment with 30 mesh sieve (B1) and treated with a 50 mesh sieve (B2). Treatment with a 70 mesh sieve (B3) produces 8% moisture content, ash content of 8.4%, 14.8% levels of substance evaporates, the density of 0.94 g/cm3, and firmness press 61.80 g/cm3. The results could be used as an enrichment module for vocational subjects Biology Class XI. This study is expected to continue at the stage of implementation and evaluation of the ADDIE model of instructional development. Keywords: Enrichment Module, Waste Utilization, oil palm fronds, Charcoal Briquettes

Abstract

Abstrack:The research was conducted to determine the effect of bio-activator EM-4 and Boisca in the manufacture of liquid organic fertilizer. This research was conducted from March to June 2015. The results are used for the development of LKM (StudentsWorksheet ) on the concept of environmental biotechnology. This study consisted of two phases: the manufacture of Liquid Organic Fertilizer and stage of development of LKM. Phase manufacture of Liquid Organic Fertilizer use research "True-Experimental Research" with completely randomized design (RAL), which consists of 4 treatments and 3 replications. While LKM refers to the development stage of research approaches Research and Development (R & D) by using ADDIE models developed from the research of liquid organic fertilizer. Parameters of this study is ratio C / N, Elements N, P and K, temperature and pH. The data obtained and analyzed statistically using analysis of variance. If significantly different continued with Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT) at significance level of 5%. LKM development while data obtained from the validation sheet is validated by 3 validator and analyzed descriptively. The results showed that the application of bio-activator EM-4 and Boisca affect the outcome of liquid organic fertilizer where the best treatment being owned by a treatment with a combination of EM-4 and Boisca. Results of the study was developed as LKM (StudentsWorksheet) is the composting material on the concept of environmental biotechnology. LKM were developed to obtain a valid category so that LKM can be used in the manufacture of compost material. Keywords: Bioactivator, liquid organic fertilizer, LKM, environmental biotechnology

Abstract

Abstract: This research was aimed at studying the identification of bacteria from the liquid waste of petroleum from August to October 2014. The result of research was used to development a learning module in basic microbiology course. This research was implemented in 2 steps, they are Laboratory research and development a learning module by use of ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation) development. Isolation of bacteria was under taken using thinning methods (platting methods) grown at solid media Stone Mineral Salt Solution Extract Yeast (SMSSe) added with crude oil as selective media. Colonies observed on the media after incubation on the temperature 28-300C for 24-48 hours were identified based on macroscopic observations, microscopic and biochemical tests to ensure that the bacteria identified was absolutely petroleum bacteria. The research result carried out 3 genera of bacteria namely Enterobacter, Pseudomonas and Klebsiella. The result of research is developed as learning module in the concept of prokaryot to enrich teaching materials in basic microbiology course. Key words: Identification, SMSSe Media, Learning Module

Abstract

Pengabdian ini bertujuan memberikan pelatihan kepada kelompok tani Tunas Jaya dan Bima Saktal yang berada di Desa IV Suku Menanti berkaitan dengan pengolahan kopi herbal dalam upaya pengoptimalan potensi sumber daya lokal desa setempat, pengabdian juga memberikan dan menambah inovasi kelompok tani dari pengembangan produk guna meningatkan pendapatan usaha berbasis komoditas kopi. Metode pelaksanaan dengan penyuluhan, pelatihan, dan monitoring. Pengabdian masyarakat yang telah dilakukan di Desa IV Suku Menanti, dapat merefleksikan keingintahuan masyarakat mengenai pembuatan kopi herbal dengan varian rasa rempah. Terbukti dengan antusiasnya masyarakat dalam mempertanyakan hal-hal yang berkaitan dengan proses pengolahan  kopi herbal dan pemanfaatan tanaman herbal. Pelatihan meningkatkan pengetahuan manfaat dan cara pembuatan atau pengolahan kopi herbal yang semula tidak diketahui oleh anggota kelompok tani. Pelatihan memberikan manfaat melalui diversifikasi kopi bubuk herbal berhasil baik yang diindikasikan  oleh  tingkat  partisipasi  anggota  kelompok.  Program pemberdayaan masyarakat memberikan inovasi dari kopi biasa menjadi kopi herbal sehingga mendorong peningkatan perekonomian tanaman kopi yang merupakan unggulan lokal Desa IV Suku Menanti.

Abstract

Optimization is a process of maximizing an object to find the best results from a set of alternative solutions that exist, so as to increase its effectiveness, such as profits, minimize process time and so on. This thesis aims to conduct CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) simulation analysis on bushings with different grooves in an effort to improve lubrication efficiency. This research uses CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) simulation analysis on bushings with different grooves in an effort to improve lubrication efficiency. This research uses CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) simulation where a method is used to model, analyze, and related phenomena in the system using a numerical approach. The addition of grooves or grooves on the bushing surface can affect the flow of lubricant around it. Through CFD simulation, the author will compare the performance of various groove designs to identify models that provide better lubrication. The results of this research are expected to provide valuable insights in the development of more lubrication-efficient bushings.

Abstract

Islamic education is one of the important pillars in the development of a dignified society. To achieve this goal, it is necessary to improve the quality of Islamic education on an ongoing basis. One approach that can be used to improve the quality of Islamic education is to apply the concept of quality management. Quality management is an approach that focuses on meeting customer needs and satisfaction. In the context of Islamic education, customers are students, parents, the community, and other stakeholders. The application of the concept of quality management in Islamic education aims to produce graduates who have competencies that are in accordance with customer needs and expectations. The application of the concept of quality management in Islamic education can be studied from the perspective of the Qur'an and hadith. In the Qur'an, there are various verses that instruct Muslims to always try to improve their self-quality, both in terms of science, morals, and skills. This shows that Islam highly values quality and quality.

Abstract

Portunus pelagicus is one type of crab that has a very high economic value. The high selling price of crab encourages an increase in fishing effort, where the pressure of increasing fishing effort can cause less catch per effort obtained. To maintain the sustainability of the availability of fisheries resources, improve community welfare, equality of cultivation technology, investment development, increase foreign exchange, and development of cultivation and crab (Portunus spp.), the Minister of Marine Affairs and Fisheries Regulation Number 12 of 2020 was issued to re-regulate the provisions for catching and/or releasing crab, therefore this study aims to determine the feasibility of catching crab (Portunus pelagicus) based on the Minister of Marine Affairs and Fisheries Regulation Number 12 of 2020. This study uses a quantitative method by measuring the frequency distribution of carapace width and crab weight which will then determine the frequency of each class by entering the width data of each crab based on the Minister of Marine Affairs and Fisheries Regulation Number 12 of 2020. The results showed that more than 90% of the crab catches followed the Minister of Marine Affairs and Fisheries Regulation Number 12 of 2020, namely carapace width size above 10 (ten) cm and weight above 60 (sixty) grams per tail. Although the catch of unfit crabs is less than 10%, it should be released back to nature to support the sustainability of crab.
