Abstract

This Research aims to analyze the influence of bank ownership, ownership concentration, operating cost to operating income ratio (BOPO), Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR), bank size, and Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) to credit risk that measured by NPL. Case Study on conventional commercial banks in Indonesia Stock Exchange in period 2009-2013.Research population used is conventional commercial banks in Indonesia in period 2009-2013. Taken samples of the all-purpose 24 banks by using purposive sampling method. The data used in this study were obtained from the Banking Annual Report 2009-2013. Analysis technique used is Ordinary Least Square Regression (OLS), statistical t-test and classic assumption test that includes a test of normality test, multicollinearity test, heteroskedastisitas test, autocorrelation test. The result  shows that bank ownership has significant positive association with NPL, concentration ownership has insignificant negative association with NPL, and Loan to Deposit Ratio has insignificant positive association with NPL. Operating cost to operating income ratio, bank size, and Capital Adequacy Ratio have significant negative association with NPL. The results of regression estimation show the ability of model prediction is 21,6% while the remaining 78,4% influenced by other factors outside the model.

This study using logistic regression analysis techniques, to determine the variables that affect of the use of derivative instruments as hedging activity. The results of this study showed that there are three variables that affect significantly hedging activity using derivative instruments. Variable firm size and leverage have positive affect on hedging activity using derivative instruments, and variable financial distress have negative affect on hedging activity using derivative instruments. This research aims to analyze influence of variables Third Party of Fund (DPK), Return On Assets (ROA), Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Non Performing Loan (NPL), and Certificate of Bank Indonesia (SBI) toward of amount banking credit. The number of samples in this study are 22 Commercial Bank uses purposive sampling method. It is a method to found sample with various measurement. All the sample are companies that listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange for period 2008 to 2011 which apply polled data method and collects data are about 88 data observation. Data analysis that used in this study are multiple regression liniear and assumption classic tests which consist of normality test, multicolieniarity test, autocorrelation test and heterocedasticity test. Hypotesis testing uses F-test and t- test. Based on the result of analysis shows independent variables (Third Party of Fund (DPK), Return On Assets (ROA), Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Non Performing Loan (NPL), and Certificate of Bank Indonesia (SBI)) simultanieously effect Credit of Banking. Whereas partially, Third Party of Fund (DPK) and Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) have positive and significant impact on Credit of Banking. In Other Hand, Certificate of Bank Indonesia  (SBI) has negative and significant impact on Credit of Banking. At Last, Return On Assets (ROA) and Non Performing Loan (NPL) have positive and insignificant influence to Credit of Banking. The value of adjusted R square is 0,978 and it means independent variables can explain the dependent variable as much as 97,8%, while the remaining amount of 2,2% is influenced by other factors which not included in the model.

Case Study on Rural Banks (BPR) in Central Java during the period 2010-2014.The population of the research is rural banks (BPR) in Central Java during the period 2010-2014. 45 samples were taken by using purposive sampling method. The data used were obtained from the annual report of Rural Banks during 2010-2014. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis, statistical F-test, ststistical t-test, and classical assumption test that includes normality test, multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test and autocorrelation test. The results shows that the Return on Assets Previous Year (𝑅𝑂𝐴𝑡−1) has  positive and significant  effect  to  Financial  Sustainability,  Non  Performing  Loan  (NPL)  has  negative  and significant effect to Financial Sustainability, Cash Ratio has negative and significant effect to Financial Sustainability, Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR) has positive and not significant effect toFinancial Sustainability, the Bank Size has positive and significant effect to Financial Sustainability, the Deposit Mobilization and Bank Age has negative and not significant to Financial Sustainability. Abstract

Exchange rate is an important issue to provide foreign Investment and foreign funding. Butsince free-floating axchange rate system has been applied in Indonesia, the movement of Rupiah against the US Dollar is hard to predicted. This condition brings many argumentations about the reasons behind the exchange rate instability whether it is caused by economic factors or by non- economic factors. By recognizing the causes, it will be easier for the fund seeker and investor of Indonesia to formulate the solution. This study aimed to analyze the influence of GDP, Money Supply, inflation, current account, financial account, and world oil prices to the exchange rate of Rupiah per U.S. Dollar. This study was made as there are differences between the results of research with each other and so can be used to predict fluctuations in the exchange rate of Rupiah per U.S. dollar. This study uses multiple linear regression statistic to test the hypothesis. The variable used in this study is Rupiah per U.S. Dollar, GDP, Money Supply, inflation, current account, financialaccount, and world oil prices. Type of data used in the form of time series data that restricted tothe data of each variable quarterly starting from the period Q1 2002 to Q4 2012 period. The results showed that the Money Supply and financial account has significant positive effect on Rupiah per U.S. Dollar exchange rate. While world oil prices has significant negativeeffect on the exchange rate of Rupiah per U.S. Dollar. Meanwhile, GDP, inflation, and current account does not affect the exchange rate of Rupiah per U.S. Dollar. In addition it was found thatthe value of adjusted R square is 64,9%. This means that 64.9% of the movement of Rupiah perU.S. Dollar exchange rate can be predicted from the six variables, while at 35,1% is explained by other variables outside the model.

This study aims to analyze the effect of Return On Equity (ROE), Debt Equity Ratio (DER), size, and sales growth toward stock return with using Dividend Payout Ratio (DPR) as mediator variable, case study on manufacture company in Indonesian Stock Exchange during period 2012-2014. Reseacrh population used manufacture company in Indonesian Stock Exchange during period 2012-2014. Taken samples of the all purpose 30 companies by using purposive sampling method. The data used in this study were obtained from the Indonesian Capital Market Directory (ICMD) 2011-2015. IDX Company Report and www.idx.co.id. Analysis technique used Ordinary Least Square Regression (OLS), statictics t-test, sobel test, and classics assumption test that includes of normality test, multicollinearity test, heteroskedastisitas test, and autocorrelation test. The result shows that ROE has positive association with DPR, DER has negative association with DPR, size has positive association with DPR, sales growth hasn’t association with DPR, DPR has positive association with stock return, and the other variable hasn’t association with stock return. The result of path analysis and sobel test also showed that DPR may mediate the effect of ROE and size on stock return.
