The research’s purpose is to find out a causality between price and demand on curly red chili, as well as between prices of commodities associated with it, and price formation correlation between markets. Data analysis method used is Granger causality and lag-test. The results show that there is no causality between price and demand of curly red chili in the province of Bengkulu. While the relationship between prices, there is one way relation between price of curly red chili with rawit chili and green chili on lag-2, and curly red chili price in some markets (origin and reference) have impact to another market (destination).

The objective of this research is to analyze the correlation of the agricultural agents’ characteristics, motivation and competence to their work productivity. This research was conducted in February through April 2013 and used census methods. The study population was defined as many as 33 people of 45 people from the extension of existing civil servants. Data analysis was done by using Product Moment Pearson procedure. The results showed that: 1) some of the agents’ characteristics were correlated significantly with their job productivity, there were period of employment, training, agricultural area in the region of agriculture extension, 2) Some factors of the agents’ motivation were correlated significantly with their job productivity. There are recognition, salary and reward. 3) Some factors of the agents’ competencies were correlated significantly with their job productivity. There are planning, implementating, evaluation of agriculture extension, and communication skills real contact with the work productivity of agricultural extension. 4) Work productivity level of agricultural extension agents still not yet good (“low” category) because four of five factors work productivity as method extension, extension materials and increased knowledge and skills of farmers were low.

This research aims to measure of price behavior, market integration and market leader of the red chili in Bengkulu Province. Monthly series of 2006 to 2011 were used as sample data in this analyzing research. The data were from secondary of the monthly average price of red chili. They were obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics and the Department of Agriculture in Bengkulu Province. The variables which were research included red chili price in the market producer Curup and market consumer Panorama, Minggu, Purwodadi and Ampera. The price behavior applied descriptive statistical analysis, to see the fluctuation of price applied the coefficient of variation formula. The analysis of market integration and marked leader applied the method of co-integration and Granger causality test (Engle and Granger model (1987)). The results of the price behavior showed price of red chili commodity is relative fluctuation. The value of the coefficient of variation (CV) in the consumers area (CV = 42,35%) is smaller than in the producer area (CV = 64,41%). The price of red chili in producer area more fluctuation than the prices in the consumers area. The result of market integration showed a strong level of market integration between market producer Curup and consumer Panorama, Minggu, Purwodadi and Ampera. Besides it, the strong level of integration also between the inter-market consumer Panorama, Minggu, Ampera and Purwodadi. Market leader for commodity red chili in Bengkulu Province is market consumer Panorama.

SRI is rice cultivation technique which able increase rice productivity by modify plant management, soil, water, and nutrients. The goal of this research are to determine and analyze the factors which influence the production, and to know the revenue between SRI method and Conventional system of rice farm. Rice farm revenueby SRI method is Rp 4.199.923,53 /Ut/Mt or Rp 6.287.124,48 /Ha/Mt while the farmers in convensional system is Rp 4.761.240,60/Ut/Mt or Rp 6.343.424,53/Ha/Mt. “Cobb-douglass” analysis used to determine someproduction factors which invluence the production.The study result explain that factorwhich influence to the production of SRI system is land area, while the amount of seeds, organic fertilizer, organic pesticides, and the labor had no effect in rice farm production. Where as the factorswhich significantly influence to the productionof conventional system are land area and labor, while the amount of seeds, chemical fertilizer, and chemical pesticides had no effect in rice farm production. This research was conducted in Kepahiang District, Bengkulu Province which had been held from April 29, 2015 until May 29, 2015. The purposes of this study were (1). To determine level of service quality rice seed Cigeulis in BBIPP, (2). To determine level of Satisfaction of consumers to services rice seed Cigeulis. The method used for the service is a method Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) and the level of satisfaction using the Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI). From the CSI service Cigeulis rice seed in the district Kepahiang Bengkulu province amounted to 80,35% of this index is on a scale satisfied.
