Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the difference of communication apprehension among undergraduate students of communication science study program, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Lambung Mangkurat University based on communication context and extrovertintrovert of personality types. The method of this research is quantitative method and comparative study. The data was collected by Para Tingkat questionnaire of Situational Communitaion Apprehension by Devito () and extrovert-introvert MBTI personality type test by Myers (). The samples were 80 undergraduate students. The data were analyzed by One Way Anova and independent sample T-Test. In analyzing the data, it also used SPSS 18.00. The result of this study is that there are significant differences of communication apprehension among undergraduate students of communication science study program, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Lambung Mangkurat University based on communication context with F 11,415 and p 0.000 <0,050. Thus, hypothesis 1 is accepted. There is no significant difference of communication apprehension among students based on extrovertintrovert extrovertintrovert personality type with F 0.115 and p 0.734> 0.050. Abstract

This study aimed to determine family communication based on satisfaction with the uses of new media technology by millennial mothers and teachers in children studying from home during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research was conducted qualitatively through online interviews at the beginning of school from home during pandemic Covid-19. It was conducted from May until June 2020 with 30 millennial mothers born in the 1980s to 1999 in Indonesia. Millennial mothers experienced positive feelings (confidence, satisfaction, happiness) and negative feelings (burden, shock, frustration, stress, and depression). The child experienced positive feelings (happiness, satisfaction, enjoyment) and negative feelings (missing school, tiredness, stress, and sadness). The study results show that negative feelings are determined by negative thoughts caused by mothers’ communication when accompanying their children studying online. Therefore, mothers need to improve how they communicate with their children in school and at home to deal with negative emotions.

Abstract

AbstractThe research objective is to identify and analyze on community relations of palm plantation companies marshland in fostering good relations and handling problems with masyarakatsekitar where previously more rampant land clearing switching function for large-scale oil palm plantations. This raises the pros and cons in the community, especially around oil palm estates. The method used in this research is descriptive method Qualitative and exploratory research.Data collection through depth interviews with semi-structured interviews with key informants and informant support. Mechanical Analysis of data using analysis phases of Miles and Huberman namely data reduction, data presentation, Draw Conclusions and Verifikasi.Validation data using triangulation and triangulation methods. The results of this study indicate that companies of oil palm plantations in the area Barito Kuala particularly in Sub Rantau Badauh and the District Cerbon not implement community relations to the maximum, where the activities of community relations is limited only to charity, CSR partnership programs plasma and plasma-core, as well as sponsorship, while for the new community development include the provision of postal services where health is not enabled, so the action and communication in fostering and addressing the problems with the local community still require a further commitment from the company.Keywords : Community Relation, Community Development, Corporate Social Responsibility, Palm Oil Abstrak Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui dan menganalisa mengenai community relation Perusahaan Perkebunan KelapaSawit tanah rawa dalam membina hubungan baik dan menangani permasalahan dengan masyarakatsekitar dimana  sebelumnya semakin marak pembukaan lahan yang beralih fungsi untuk perkebunan kelapa sawit berskala besar. Hal tersebut menimbulkan pro kontra dalam masyarakat, khususnya masyarakat sekitar perkebunan kelapa sawit. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan  tipe  penelitian eksploratif. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui depth interview melalui wawancara semi terstruktur dengan informan kunci dan informan pendukung.Teknik Analisa data menggunakan tahapan analisa dari Miles dan Huberman yaitu Reduksi data, penyajian data, Menarik Kesimpulan danVerifikasi .Validasi data menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi metode. Hasil Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa perusahaan-perusahaan perkebunan kelapa sawit di area Kabupaten Barito Kuala khususnya di Kecamatan Rantau Badauh dan Kecamatan Cerbon belum melaksanakan community relations secara maksimal, dimana kegiatan community relations masih terbatas hanya untuk kegiatan amal, CSR program kemitraan plasma dan inti plasma, serta sponsorship, sementara untuk community development baru berupa penyediaan tempat layanan pos kesehatan yang juga tidak difungsikan, sehingga sisi aksi dan komunikasi dalam membina dan menangani permasalahan dengan masyarakat sekitar masih memerlukan komitmen lebih lanjut dari pihak perusahaan.Kata kunci : Community Relation, Community Development, Corporate Social Responsibility, Palm Oil

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine, describe and analyze the role, duties, and functions of the Secretariat of Public Relations Banjarmasin City Government in the implementation of good governance. The method used mainly in this study is a qualitative evaluative, with the technique of data collection through interviews and documentation. The research location is at the Regional Secretariat of Public Relations of Banjarmasin.The results showed that in the implementation of good governance Public Relations Regional Secretariat Banjarmasin still limited to running role as a facilitator of communication and communication technicians, it is due to lack of human resources education background Public Relations, budget constraints given by the leadership. keyword: The Role of Public Relations, good governance, government public relations. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui, mendeskripsikan, dan menganalisis  peran, tugas, dan fungsi  Public Relations Sekretariat  Pemerintah Kota Banjarmasin dalam implementasi good governance.  Metode yang digunkan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif evaluatif, dengan teknik pengambilan data melalui wawancara dan dokumentasi. lokasi penelitian ini adalah pada pada Bagian Humas Sekretariat Daerah Kota Banjarmasin.Hasil penelitian menujukkan bahwa dalam implementasi good governance Humas Sekretariat Daerah Kota Banjarmasin masih terbatas pada  menjalankan peran sebagai fasilitator komunikasi dan teknisi komunikasi, hal ini berkaitan dengan kurangnya sumber daya manusia yang berlatar pendidikan Public Relations, Keterbatasan anggaran peran yang diberikan oleh pimpinan. kata kunci : Peran Humas, good governance, humas pemerintah.

Abstract

At the beginning of the year, high rainfall triggered overflows of river water which, in flooding, one of which was in Sungai Tabuk Village, Simpang Empat District, Banjar Regency. The purpose of this service is to provide knowledge about potential disasters, characteristics, impacts, and cycles of flood disaster management for the village government and the people of Sungai Tabuk Village. The methodology used to provide understanding and increase awareness and improve communication between communities is through the Socialization of Flood Disaster Resilient. From this activity, it will increase public understanding and awareness to know the threat of disasters in their area so that they are able to organize and reduce disaster risk to reduce vulnerability to disasters with preparedness and make efforts to prevent and recover post-floods.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the actions carried out by the Pandawara Group and the public's response and sentiment in the context of the social movement carried out by @pandawaragroup on social media. The research method used is a qualitative approach with a descriptive research type. Data collection was carried out through social media searches from March to April 2024. The data analysis technique was discourse analysis of posts related to the Pandawara Group on social media, by Brand24 Application. The research results show that the social movement carried out by the @pandawaragroup account with the tagline "Not cleaning but reducing" has fulfilled the three campaign stages according to Ostegraard (2002): awareness, attitude, and action. This is demonstrated by the participation of social media users in cleaning up rubbish in rivers and beaches. Apart from that, research findings show that the response given by social media users to this social movement is by re-sharing content, providing comments, and uploading using the hashtags #pandawara #pandwaragroup #onedayonetrashbag. The public sentiment that emerged regarding the social movement carried out by the Pandawara Group was divided into positive and negative sentiments. Positive sentiment emerged through mentions and posts expressing support and appreciation for the Pandawara Group's actions, while negative public sentiment regarding the Pandawara Group emerged based on concerns about the lack of government support and low public awareness of protecting the environment.

Abstract

This program was implemented at SDN Belitung Utara 3 Banjarmasin to provide education on bullying behavior to students and teachers. The aim of the program was to improve understanding related to bullying, its types, its impact, and prevention strategies. The program was conducted in several stages: (1) pre-test to measure students' initial knowledge, (2) education through socialization covering the understanding of bullying and preventive actions, (3) post-test to evaluate students' improved understanding after the socialization, and (4) program sustainability through the installation of "STOP BULLYING" educational posters in the school environment. Evaluation results showed a 26.08% increase in students' knowledge regarding types of bullying and how to deal with it. This improvement reflects the program's effectiveness in raising awareness among students and teachers about the importance of preventing bullying behavior. Although there were some challenges, such as limited program scope and budget constraints, this success provides a strong foundation for further efforts to reduce bullying incidents in elementary schools. The continuation of education through visual media is expected to continuously remind students and teachers of the importance of preventing bullying and creating a safe and positive learning environment. Program Dosen Wajib Mengabdi (PDWA) ini dilaksanakan di SDN Belitung Utara 3 Banjarmasin untuk memberikan edukasi mengenai perilaku perundungan (bullying) kepada siswa dan guru. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman terkait bullying, jenis-jenisnya, dampak yang ditimbulkan, serta strategi pencegahannya. Pelaksanaan program dilakukan dalam beberapa tahap: (1) pre-test untuk mengukur pengetahuan awal siswa, (2) edukasi dalam bentuk sosialisasi yang mencakup pemahaman tentang bullying dan tindakan pencegahannya, (3) post-test untuk mengevaluasi peningkatan pemahaman siswa setelah sosialisasi, dan (4) keberlanjutan program melalui pemasangan poster edukasi "STOP BULLYING" di lingkungan sekolah. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan siswa sebesar 26,08% terkait jenis-jenis bullying dan cara menghadapinya. Peningkatan ini menunjukkan efektivitas program dalam meningkatkan kesadaran siswa dan guru mengenai pentingnya mencegah perilaku perundungan. Meskipun terdapat beberapa kendala, seperti keterbatasan cakupan program dan dana yang terbatas, keberhasilan ini memberikan fondasi yang kuat untuk pengembangan lebih lanjut dalam mengurangi angka bullying di sekolah dasar. Keberlanjutan edukasi melalui media visual diharapkan dapat terus mengingatkan siswa dan guru akan pentingnya mencegah bullying dan menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang aman dan positif.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Sejak bulan Januari sampai dengan April tahun 2025, tren #KaburAjaDulu menjadi ruang ekspresi yang kuat di media sosial dalam menyuarakan keresahan terhadap realitas dunia kerja. Ini menandakan bahwa tren tersebut bukan hanya ekspresi individual, tetapi juga mencerminkan keresahan kolektif terhadap sistem kerja yang ada. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji dan menganalisis representasi perilaku eskapisme digital sebagai bentuk ketidakpuasan pengguna media sosial terhadap dunia kerja melalui tren #KaburAjaDulu. Menggunakan pendekatan analisis isi sentimen kualitatif dan teknik pengumpulan data melalui Brand24. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan dominasi sentimen negatif sebesar 55% dibandingkan sentimen positif 45%, dengan volume penyebutan mencapai 2309 dan jangkauan media sosial hingga 52 juta. Dominasi sentimen negatif ini mencerminkan tingginya tingkat ketidakpuasan kerja yang terekspresi secara publik, menunjukkan bahwa media sosial berfungsi sebagai saluran bagi individu untuk menyuarakan frustrasi dan mencari dukungan kolektif atas kondisi kerja yang tidak memuaskan. Secara keseluruhan, penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa tren #KaburAjaDulu secara jelas menggambarkan ketidakpuasan pengguna media sosial terhadap realitas dunia kerja yang tercermin dalam perilaku eskapisme digital.
