Abstract

This article is the result of research that aims to describe the Islamic values in economic subjects in MAN Yogyakarta III. In addition, based on the findings of this research used as a basis for designing modules economic subjects charged Islamic values as a guide teachers to teach economics at MAN Yogyakarta III. Subjects in this study was the deputy head of the curriculum MAN Yogyakarta III, MAN Yogyakarta III economics teacher, and several students majoring in social studies MAN Yogyakarta III. Selection of subjects in this study was porpusive sampling. Primary data were collected through interviews and secondary data supported by relevant documents. The data were analyzed using descriptive qualitative method by steps: data collection, data reduction, data display and analysis. The results of this study has been indicated that the economic subjects in MAN Yogyakarta III still tend to be dominated values-liberal capitalist economy, while Islamic economics or economics based on Islamic values have not taught formally. As for the design of the modules loaded Islamic values in economic subjects in MAN Yogyakarta III proposed consists of three stages, namely; analysis, design, and development.Keywords  : Economics subject, Islamic value, insemination, State Islamic Senior High Scool III of Yogyakarta

Abstract

This study aims to develop social media-based Mahārah al-kalām learning media using the TikTok application and to test the feasibility of these learning media. In the development of this learning media, the researcher used the ADDIE (analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation) development type with 42 students as respondents in the Arabic language course at the Islamic Education Study Program of the Universitas Islam Indonesia with the data collection technique in the form of a questionnaire which included components, material, display, and operation/use. From the feasibility test of learning media by media experts, a percentage of 85.7% was obtained with the very feasible category, the material expert test obtained a percentage of 92.8% with a very feasible category. Then the learning media was tested extensively (in the field) to 42 students by getting a percentage of 82.12% in the very feasible category. The average of the results of the expert tests and trials mentioned above, the percentage results are 86.9%, which means that the social media-based mahārah al-kalām (speaking skill) learning media using the TikTok application is very feasible to use.

Abstract

Wahid Hasyim sebagai tokoh besar Republik ini perlu mendapakan perhatian dalam kajian ketokohan bangsa. Sangat jarang yang mengkaji beliau secara spesifik, sejatinya pada aspek kepemimpinan politik dan kontribusi beliau sebagai pemabaharu dunia pendidikan Islam di Indonesia sangatlah signifikan untuk dikaji lebih jauh. Untuknya penelitian ini akan membahas dan mengkaji Wahid Hasyim dari aspek keteladanan dan gagasan beliau baik dalam kepemimpinan politik, juga sebagai tokoh Islam yang signifikan memberikan dampak pada pendidikan Islam baik bagi pesantren hingga universitas. Pendekatan kajian ini ialah kajian kepustakaan dengan mengkses berbagai bacaan untuk menarik analisa lebih jauh terkait wahid Hasyim.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the value of rahmatan lil'alamin at the Indonesian Islamic University in broadcasting Islamic economics. It focuses more on studying Indonesian Islamic universities. The method applied in this study is a literature study with a qualitative approach, a literature study whose data sources are obtained from written materials such as books or manuscripts, documents, and so on. The author will collaborate on various data from intellectual figures and continue a critique of the existing data by describing each piece of data found by the author. The author will try to separate what is considered right from what is wrong. The results of this study indicate that UII, as an educational institution in the midst of this society brings a paradigm of Islamic education rahmatan lil'alamin, which helps to think as a whole by studying in depth related to Islamic education, which is built through universal values based on the Qur'an and al-hadith, prioritizing love, togetherness, justice, and brotherhood towards fellow human beings, then in broadcasting the Islamic economy UII tries to collaborate with several Islamic financial institutions, companies and educational institutions both at home and abroad.

Abstract

Culture is one of media in spreading Islamic teachings in the Archipelago. In this modern era, however, many people are not familiar with their culture – particularly the values embedded in it including the noble values as contained in Javanese proverbs.  This study aims to explore the noble values inherited by the Javanese ancestors which essentially contain Islamic education values. This is a library research in which the primary sources are 10 Javanese proverbs whose meanings are studied by means of semiotic analysis technique. The results of the research show that Javanese proverbs contain the values of Islamic education in the form of Aqidah (faith), Syariat (rules or regulation), and Akhlak (moral) values. The contextualization of the Javanese culture values in Islamic education can be reflected in three centers of education: in the family, schools and society at large.

Abstract

The research aims to determine: the philosophical, doctrinal, and sociological foundations behind the da'wah orientation; da'wah strategy; and the transformation of religious prayer Mafia congregations. This qualitative research uses the method of observation, documentation, and interviews. The results showed that: Gus Ali Gondrong with his Mafia Sholawat preferred the Bengali community as the object of his da'wah. Gus Ali Gondrong's da'wah strategy used various media including: physical media, verbal, and amaliah media. Sholawat accompanied by music and Sufi dances, the tausyiah conveyed by Gus Ali was non-judgmental and able to embrace the bengal community. Third, Gus Ali Gondrong's da'wah strategy uses Berger and Luckmann's theoretical framework by using a dialectical process experienced by humans through three momentums, namely: externalization, objectivation, and internalization. The transformation of the congregation is evidenced by changes in attitudes, behavior, and commitment to religious teachings; feel like a better human being, act the right way; as well as a change in the principle of religious life towards a more firm and clear direction. This research can contribute to development of more contextual and effective da'wah theories and strategies in dealing with ignorance, especially in the Javanese context.
