Abstract

The existence of park facilities as public open spaces is a phenomenon of development activities that are much done, referring to the need for interaction space for the community. The function of the park in its development cannot be separated from the historical value since the colonial era, where its existence is a form of providing green open space oriented to parks in Europe. Seeing the reality of its development, the park facilities now are not only built in the city enclave, but also penetrate into formal environments such as government offices. Bandung, Surabaya and Semarang are the 3 (three) examples of capitals in Indonesia that carried out that development, which are the City Hall complex. The two facilities located in one area can encourage issues regarding the borders of public parks which accommodate informal activities over the control of the city government center office environment structure as an existing building that accommodates formal activities. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative through an analytical approach based on theory. The analysis is carried out by observing the landscape layout and functions since its inception in order to find out what aspects are maintained or transformed. After that, regarding the ownership of the elements of its present spatial borders. Based on research, Bandung, Surabaya, and Semarang City Hall shows that the existence of public parks in an office environment results in an arrangement that can influence the overall arrangement and user movement pattern of the environment.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the study of thermal comfort in cafes in Bandung. Indonesia is a country with a tropical climate because its geographical position is on the equator. According to data from the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency, the average humidity and temperature in 2020 is 27.30C. The method used to analyze the object of this study is a quantitative method with the formula of Thermal Equilibrium, quantitative research is defined as research based on empirical experience that collects data in the form of numbers that can be calculated and in numerical form. This research was conducted with a quantitative approach by performing calculations using the heat balance method to determine the heat in the 3 study objects and what factors most influence the cooling load in the 3 study objects. Human comfort at Noah's Barn Coffeenery, Amber Field Coffee cannot be separated from the thermal comfort factor. Based on the calculation of the thermal balance in the three cafes, more than 50% of the heat in the room comes from interior heat sources, especially electronic equipment and lighting and humans are the biggest heat contributor in the cafe dining area. Each cafe has a different heat source, therefore, each room has a different solution. The heat in Naoh's Barn Coffeenery is 25.2412504 kW

The migration of people from slums to low cost apartment will result in new ideas, difficulties, and changes in the condition and way of life of low-income people. The development of the Sub Communal Low-Cost Apartment in Semanggi region, based on the concept of a simple healthy immediate house (RISHA), is one strategy to eliminate slum settlements in Surakarta City. The RISHA Sub Communal Low-Cost Apartment's construction innovation is based on the necessity to speed up the provision of housing at a price that low-income people can afford, while keeping the building's quality and meeting the requirements for livable housing. By documenting the current situation of the RISHA Subcommunal Low-Cost Apartment and comparing it to the conditions of slum settlements in the Semanggi Area before 2018, the study utilized a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Abstract

Changes in urban lifestyles demand vertical housing solutions such as apartments. The Jarrdin Apartment in Bandung City is one example of vertical housing that accommodates thousands of residents within limited space and with significant height differences. This study aims to examine the impact of floor height on residents' physical and psychological comfort, as well as to propose alternative design approaches for human behavioral patterns in vertical spaces. The method used is descriptive qualitative, involving field observations, resident interviews, and literature studies. The results show that floor height influences perceptions of comfort, accessibility, and social interaction, ultimately shaping unique behavioral patterns at each residential level. Alternative design strategies that consider circulation access, natural lighting, social interaction spaces, and perceived safety are crucial for creating more humane vertical dwellings.

Abstract

The government has plans to build an Aerotropolis area, a city with an airport-centered infrastructure and economic topology with the aim of supporting local economic progress at Yogyakarta International Airport, Kulon Progo. The potential for rapid airport traffic means that the planned hotel development can be a facility for postponing plane departure schedules due to certain circumstances such as bad weather (incidental). Hotel development is implemented using a Javanese cultural locality approach which revives the atmosphere of traditional elements by creating local building shapes and patterns. So the issues raised are the concept of locality and the concept of hotel design. This research uses qualitative descriptive methods and analysis is carried out using theories from the architectural anatomy approach and the Javanese cultural locality approach. The result is that there are five aspects of architectural anatomy and three cultural forms that influence the locality of Javanese culture. The anatomical aspects of architecture are the environmental scope, site scope, building scope, form scope, and material scope, while the aspects of cultural form are the form of ideas, activities, and artifacts. Five architectural concept criteria were produced, namely the concept of an imaginary mountain-sea axis, Kiblat Papat Kalima Pancer, Javanese architectural buildings, Kawung batik ornaments, and local materials aimed at giving the impression of a building that is integrated with the area and still preserves Javanese culture.
