Abstract

ABSTRACTFemale workers will tend to experience multiple role conflicts, they pay attention to the work simultaneously take on the role as housewives. The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of job satisfaction on turnover intention which is moderated by work-family conflict on married female nurses in PGI Cikini hospital. The sampling method used was convenience sampling and the number of samples is 110 female nurses who are married. The data analysis method used in this study is the simple moderation path analysis. From the research results show, job satisfaction on nurses in PGI Cikini hospital is quite high, as seen from the overall mean score. Majority of nurses agree that their job is meaningful. The mean score shows the majority of nurses agree that nurses like their job. While, turnover intention on nurses PGI Cikini hospital is quite low. The results of data processing use spss 22 and macro Hayes 2013 software. This study found that there is a significant influence between job satisfaction on the turnover intention of married female nurses in PGI Cikini hospital. In other side, research also proves the effect of job satisfaction on turnover intention is not moderated by work-family conflict.Key words : job satisfaction, work-family conflict, turnover intentionABSTRAKWanita yang bekerja menjunjung tinggi profesinya akan lebih berpotensi mengalami konflik peran ganda, karena berkonsentrasi kepada pekerjaan dan sekaligus menjalani peran sebagai ibu rumah tangga.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat apakah terdapat pengaruh Job Satisfaction terhadap Turnover Intention yang dimoderasi oleh Work-Family Conflict pada perawat wanita yang sudah menikah di RS PGI Cikini. Metode pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah convenience sampling dengan menggunakan sampel sebanyak 110 perawat wanita yang telah menikah. Metode analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan analisis rata-rata, uji analisis jalur simpel moderasi. Job Satisfaction pada perawat wanita yang sudah menikah di RS PGI Cikini cukup tinggi terlihat dari overall mean score dan mayoritas perawat menyatakan setuju bahwa pekerjaan mereka sangat berarti. Mean score menunjukkan mayoritas perawat setuju bahwa perawat menyukai hal-hal yang ada dalam pekerjaan mereka. Sedangkan turnover intention pada perawat wanita yang sudah menikah di RS PGI Cikini tergolong cukup rendah. Hasil pengolahan data menggunkan piranti lunak SPSS 22 dan macro Hayes 2013. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh signifikan antara job satisfaction terhadap turnover intention perawat wanita yang sudah menikah di RS PGI Cikini. Pengaruh job satisfaction terhadap turnover intention tidak dimoderasi oleh work-family conflict pada perawat wanita yang sudah menikah.Kata Kunci : kepuasan kerja, konflik kerja-keluarga, intensi turnover

Abstract

This research aims at investigating the relationship between job characteristics and job stress towards intention to stay as well as investigating the role of job stress as mediating variable toward job characteristics and intention to stay; and investigating the role of peer & supervisor support as moderating variable toward job characteristics and intention to stay. The research was conducted on 202 millenials staffs from 5 biggest e-commerce in Indonesia. The data was analyzed using regression by utilizing Hayes macro process on SPSS. The findings suggest that job characteristics and job stress significantly and negatively influence intention to stay; while job stress mediate the relationship between job characteristics and intention to stay significantly; and peer & supervisor support moderate the relationship between job characteristics and intention to stay. Therefore, it’s crucial for e-commerce management to ensure that their employees are well-equipped; in terms of man power and technology resource as well as peer and supervisor support,and keep developing interesting employee development program to motivate millenial employees in bringing out their best potential.Bahasa Indonesia Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan karakteristik pekerjaan dan stres kerja terhadap intention to stay serta melihat peran stres kerja sebagai variabel yang memediasi antara karakteristik pekerjaan dan intention to stay; dan melihat peran peer & supervisor support sebagai variabel yang memoderasi antara karakteristik pekerjaan dan intention to stay. Penelitian ini dilakukan kepada 202 karyawan milenial dari 5 ecommerce terbesar di Indonesia. Analisa data menggunakan metode regresi menggunakan makro proses Hayes pada aplikasi SPSS. Temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa karakteristik pekerjaan dan stres kerja berpengaruh secara negatif dan signifikan terhadap intention to stay; stres kerja memediasi hubungan antara karakteristik pekerjaan dan intention to stay secara signifikan; dan peer & supervisor support memoderasi hubungan antara karakteristik pekerjaan dan intention to stay. Oleh karena itu, penting bagi manajemen ecommerce untuk memastikan bahwa karyawan dibekali dengan sumber daya yang cukup untuk melakukan pekerjaan, baik sumber daya manusia, teknologi, maupun dukungan dari peer dan supervisor, serta terus mengembangkan program pengembangan karyawan yang menarik agar karyawan milenial semakin termotivasi untuk mengeluarkan potensi terbaiknya

Abstract

This study aims to explore the effect of job demands on turnover intention with job stress as mediating variable on employees that have been working less than sixth years. Sampling method used is the purposive-non probability sampling, where 100 employees of head office PT. Adhi Karya (Persero) Tbk were taken as respondents. Method of data analysis used is path analysis, the simple mediation model. Data were processed with macro and syntax from Preacher-Hayes 2013. The results of this study indicates that the effect of job demands on turnover intention was not mediated by job stress. Job demands and job stress influence significantly toward turnover intention, but job demands have no significant impact on job stress.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to observe the effect of work passion of the millennial workforces in Belant Persada Ltd on its turnover intention through work engagement and job satisfaction. The sample is all of the millenial workforces in Belant Persada Ltd, which are58 employees. The data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using Macro PROCESS by Hayes and Preacher through Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS). The results showed that work passion significantly affects work engagement and job satisfaction. While the work passion and work engagement are not direct and significant impact on the turnover intention. Furthermore, job satisfaction brings a significantly negative effect on turnover intention. This research failed to prove the existence of variable work engagement as a mediating variable. On the other hand, job satisfaction successfully serves as a mediating variable. It presents that work passion can determine turnover intention through increasing the job satisfaction.

Abstract

This research investigates the effects of passion towards organizational commitment as a mediating role to career adaptability and engagement of millennial employees in startup companies. The convenience sampling method was used to collect data from 63 millennial employees of startup companies located in Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, and Bekasi by distributing questionnaires via Google Form. The data collected were then analyzed using path analysis and the results showed that passion has a direct and indirect effect on organizational commitment and employee engagement. Meanwhile, career adaptability does not affect partial meditation as an intervening variable. Conversely, passion positively and significantly affects career adaptability, employee engagement, and organizational commitment.

Abstract

High job demand can be a factor that increases work stress and decreases job satisfaction, that it is expected to increases employee turnover intention. This research conducted on 50 employees from a department store. The purpose of this study is to examine mediation of work stress and job satisfaction on the influence of job demand toward the employee’s turnover intention. The result of this study cannot prove significantly the influence job demand toward turnover intention through the mediation effect of work stress. Job satisfaction can mediate the influence of job demand towards turnover intention. Other results found in this study show that there is an influence of job demand on turnover intention through the mediation of work stress and job satisfaction.

Abstract

Situasi pandemi yang berpengaruh terhadap berbagai dimensi kehidupan turut pula mempengaruhi situasi pembelajaran di berbagai sekolah. Riset ini dilakukan terhadap sejumlah guru SD wanita di Jakarta Timur, Jakarta Pusat, Jakarta Utara, Bekasi dan Bogor untuk menganalisis pengaruh iklim kerja dan kesejahteraan subjektif terhadap kinerja ketika proses belajar mengajar dilakukan secara daring. Sebanyak 87 guru SD wanita yang menjadi responden penelitian masih memiliki kinerja yang relatif baik dimasa pandemi. Metode sampel purposive dilakukan mempertimbangkan guru wanita yang sudah menikah memiliki peran ganda akan lebih terdampak bila bekerja dari rumah (WFH). Penelitian ini mengolah data menggunakan analisis SEM dengan smartPLS, dan hasil uji membuktikan iklim kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja, begitu pula terhadap kesejahteraan subjektif. Di sisi lain kesejahteraan subjektif sangat kuat dan signifikan berpengaruh terhadap kinerja serta signifikan memediasi pengaruh iklim kerja terhadap kinerja, meskipun pengaruh langsungnya lebih kuat.   The pandemi situation that affects various dimensions of life also affects the learning situation n various schools. This research was conducted on a number of female elementary school teachers in East Jakarta, Central Jakarta, North Jakarta, Bekasi and Bogor to analyze the effect of work climate and subjective well-being on performance when the teaching and learning process is conducted online. A total of 87 female elementary school teachers who became research respondents still had relatively good performance during the pandemi. The purposive sampling method was carried out considering that married female teachers who had multiple roles would be more affected when working from home (WFH). This study processes data using SEM analysis with smartPLS, and the test results prove that the work climate has a significant effect on performance, as well as on subjective well-being. On the other hand, subjective well-being is very strong and has a significant effect on performance and significantly mediates the effect of work climate on performance, although the direct effect is stronger.

This research was conducted at a pharmaceutical manufacturing company in Cikarang, West Java using a non-probability sampling technique, namely purposive sampling. The author distributed an online questionnaire to every worker with permanent employee status with a minimum work period of 1 (one) year to 107 workers. The data analysis method uses the PROCESS Hayes macro bootstrapping method in SPSS. The research results show that perceived supervisor support does not have a significant effect on turnover intention, but work life balance and work engagement fully mediate the influence of perceived supervisor support on turnover intention

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of green employee involvement on job satisfaction with green behaviors as am mediating variable. The number of respondents in this study were 265 employees who were in the head office and vertical Pusintek. The data collection was carried out by survey method and using convenience sampling technique. The analytical method used is SEM which is analyzed using the SmartPLS 3.3.2. The results showed that green employes involvement has a direct and significant effect on job satisfaction and green behaviors. And green behaviors have a significant direct effect on job satisfaction. On the other hand, green employee involvement has a significant direct effect on job satisfaction with the mediation of green behaviors.
