Abstract

Penelitian ini berguna untuk meningkatkan perkembangan bahasa anak usia dini melalui metode bercerita berbasis cerita rakyat di PAUD Dharul Hikmah. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan model Kemmis dan McTaggart. Maka penelitian dilakukan dalam tiga siklus,  masing-masing terdiri atas tahap perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa PAUD Dharul Hikmah berusia 4–5 tahun berjumlah 16 anak. Instrumen penelitian berupa lembar observasi dan unjuk kerja perkembangan bahasa dengan indikator sesuai capaian perkembangan bahasa dalam Permendikbud No. 137 Tahun 2014 dan Kurikulum Merdeka. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah observasi, dokumentasi, dan penilaian unjuk kerja. Data dianalisis menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan penerapan metode bercerita menggunakan cerita rakyat, disertai properti visual, pengeras suara, dan gaya cerita yang ekspresif serta teatrikal, mampu meningkatkan perkembangan bahasa anak. Mereka menjadi lebih fokus, aktif bertanya dan menjawab, serta mampu menceritakan kembali isi cerita dengan bahasa mereka sendiri. Dengan demikian, metode bercerita berbasis cerita rakyat terbukti efektif dalam mengembangkan kemampuan bahasa anak usia dini.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kondisi kreativitas anak usia dini kelompok A (4–5 tahun) di KB Dharul Hikmah Kasembon Bululawang yang belum optimal. Banyak anak masih cenderung meniru, kurang memiliki inisiatif serta ide orisinal, menunjukkan rasa ingin tahu yang rendah, enggan mencoba hal-hal baru, dan kurang bersemangat mengikuti kegiatan seni. Keadaan ini menunjukkan perlunya pendekatan yang dapat mendorong perkembangan kreativitas. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui sejauh mana kegiatan membatik ecoprint dapat meningkatkan kreativitas anak. Penelitian menggunakan desain Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) model Kemmis dan McTaggart yang meliputi tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan teknik deskriptif kualitatif serta kuantitatif sederhana untuk memperoleh gambaran menyeluruh. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan membatik ecoprint mampu memberikan peningkatan yang nyata terhadap kreativitas anak. Anak-anak mulai lebih berani mengeksplorasi pengalaman baru, lebih antusias dalam kegiatan seni, dan menampilkan ide-ide kreatif yang orisinal. Proses ecoprint juga terbukti menumbuhkan rasa ingin tahu serta mengurangi kecenderungan meniru, sehingga anak menjadi lebih mandiri dalam belajar. Dengan demikian, kegiatan membatik ecoprint efektif, menyenangkan, dan bermanfaat dalam meningkatkan kreativitas anak usia dini.

Abstract

The background of this study departs from the importance of the development of socio-emotional aspects of early childhood, especially self-confidence, which is an important foundation in the formation of character and adaptability of children. This study aims to determine the learning of dance can increase the confidence of children aged 5-6 years in KB PKK AL Mubarok Karanganyar. The research method used is Class Action Research (PTK) with a qualitative mixed approach. The subjects of the study were 11 children of Group B2 aged 5-6 years. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and documentation, with indicators of self-confidence including the courage to try new things, the ability to interact, not giving up easily, and the courage to express themselves. The results showed that learning to dance can significantly increase children's self-confidence. This can be seen from the increase in observation scores in cycle I by 58.5% showed a level of confidence and up 9% from pre-cycle conditions and an increase in confidence of 22.5% from cycle I conditions in Cycle II. Learning the art of Dance provides space for children to express, improve motor coordination, and form a positive self-image. This study concludes that dance is effective as a learning medium in increasing early childhood self-confidence and has important implications for culture-based educational practices.

Abstract

Problem-solving skills are important for cognitive development in early childhood. At PAUD KB 'Aisyiyah 6 Wagir, many 5-6 year old children rely heavily on teacher guidance and lack initiative. This shows that current learning strategies do not promote independence or critical thinking. Hence, Project-Based Learning is suggested as a way to encourage problem-solving. This study aims to determine the improvement of problem-solving skills in early childhood through the implementation of project-based learning at PAUD KB 'Aisyiyah 6 Wagir. The research employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) method using the Kemmis and McTaggart model, conducted in two cycles. The subjects of the study were 12 children aged 5–6 years enrolled in Group B at PAUD KB 'Aisyiyah 6 Wagir during the second semester of the 2024/2025 academic year. The research instrument used was an observation sheet based on the indicators outlined in the Regulation of the Minister of Education and Culture No. 146 of 2014, namely: (1) identifying problems, (2) finding alternative solutions, and (3) solving problems independently. The results showed that the average problem-solving ability of the children increased significantly from 57.4% in the pre-cycle, to 71,3% in the first cycle, and reached 97.25% in the second cycle. The implementation of the PjBL model encouraged the children to be more active, independent, creative, and capable of collaborating in solving real problems in their environment. Thus, project-based learning has proven to be effective in gradually and comprehensively enhancing early childhood problem-solving skills.

Abstract

The low ability to read letters at preschool age, it should be a special concern. Indeed, the educational materials provided by the teacher do not arouse the decline in students' interest in learning to improve children's ability to read letters, this includes the ability to read the ability to identify various known letter symbols, recognize the initial letter sounds of the names of objects around them, give names to pictures whose initial sounds or letters are similar, also understand the relationship between sounds and letter symbols. Using picture card media, according to the author, as a learning support tool can help children improve their reading skills. This study aims to identify the effect of using picture word cards on the reading ability of children aged 5-6 years at Dharma Wanita Persatuan 2 Purwodadi Kindergarten. The research was conducted at Dharma Wanita Persatuan 2 Purwodadi Kindergarten using a multi-method research approach. The sample of this study amounted to 22 children in group B of Dharma Wanita Persatuan 2 Purwodadi Kindergarten. This classroom action research activity begins with action planning (planning), implementing action (acting), observing (observing), and reflecting (reflecting). This activity then rotates until the expected results. This research uses the PTK model, collaborative Classroom Action Research, where researchers and teachers work together to solve classroom problems. In the first cycle of meetings, an average of 52.2% was obtained, and in the second cycle of meetings, an average of 69.9% was obtained. In the second cycle of meetings, the average obtained 75%, and increased to 80.1% when obtaining a score of 75%. The results showed that children aged 5-6 years at Dharma Wanita Persatuan 2 Purwodadi Kindergarten, Malang Regency could improve their literacy skills by playing picture cards. Based on the results of research and discussion about the application of picture card playing activities to improve the ability to read letters in Group B children at Dharma Wanita Persatuan 2 Purwodadi Kindergarten, Malang Regency can be concluded, literacy skills with picture card playing activities based on the results of cycle I 52.2%, then cycle II 80.1% this shows if there is an increase of 27.9%.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the application of the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model in improving the communication skills of Group B students at Oasis Kindergarten in Malang. The type of research used was Classroom Action Research (CAR) with a spiral model from Kemmis and McTaggart (Prihantoro & Hidayat, 2019), which included the stages of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The research subjects were 17 students in Group B in the second semester of the 2019/2020 academic year, consisting of 9 male students and 8 female students. This study was conducted in two cycles, focusing on improving children's communication skills, including listening, storytelling, and answering questions. The results showed that the application of the Project-Based Learning model could significantly improve children's communication skills. This improvement was evident from the evaluation results of communication skills, namely storytelling skills increased from 41.17% to 88.23%, answering questions skills from 35.29% to 82.35%, and asking questions skills from 23.52% to 82.35%. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the application of Project Based Learning is effective in creating active, collaborative, and meaningful learning that can develop the communication skills of early childhood at Oasis Kindergarten in Malang.

Abstract

Golden age merujuk pada anak usia dini di rentang 0 hingga 6 tahun dengan perkembangan pesat yang berperan sebagai fondasi bagi hidup mereka di kemudian hari. Anak yang berada pada masa golden age harus mendapatkan stimulasi dari aspek edukasi untuk mengakselerasi perkembangan dan pertumbuhan anak dari segi fisik maupun rohani anak. Begitu pula yang seharusnya didapatkan oleh anak tuna grahita yang mengalami kendala pada kemampuan sosial-emosionalnya. Hal ini tentunya membutuhkan kajian mendalam mengenai metode pembelajaran yang dapat menjadi solusi permasalahan tersebut. Akan tetapi, sejauh ini masih belum ada literatur yang membahas terkait hal tersebut. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan pengembangan metode pembelajaran outdoor learning berbasis fun games untuk meningkatkan kemampuan sosial-emosional siswa tunagrahita di TK LB Yayasan Putra Pancasila. Metode penelitian yang digunakan berbasis pada R&D (Research) and Development, yang berarti penulis mengembangkan metode pembelajaran dengan mempertimbangkan data yang diperoleh dari hasil observasi sebagai gambaran untuk mendesai, dan tak lupa memvalidasi seberapa efektif metode pembelajaran yang telah disusun penulis. Hasil dari uji coba pada skala kelompok kecil menunjukkan presentase 79,16% dan hasil uji coba pada skala kelompok besar memperlihatkan presentase senilai 94,44%. Hal ini mengindikasikan bahwa metode pembelajaran outdoor learning berbasis fun games dinyatakan “Sangat Layak” dan relevan dalam mengkselerasi kemampuan sosial emosional anak tunagrahita kelompok A di TK LB Yayasan Putra Pancasila Kecamatan Kedungkandang.
