Abstract

This paper describes personal and communal attitudes of Maduranese towards carok and the reasons of existing carok. The study’s approach is descriptive involving 195 Maduranese. Observation, questionnaire, and interview were implemented to collect data. Result of analysis shows 4 personal attitudes toward carok as follow: 75% accept that they are not intend to do carok, 60% accept that they will not do carok in any reason, 77.38% accept to solve all cases wisely without doing carok, and (4) 77.40% will not do carok because of being obedient to state and religious rules. While 5 Maduranese communal attitudes toward carok involve: 64.16% accept that carok is not Madura tradition, 81.11%  accept that Madura community love peace, 86.11% agree that carok does not represent Maduranese, 82.44% agree that carok is bad rules, and 76.11%  accept to solve all cases wisely without carok. It is also concluded that the motivation of carok are  women, misunderstanding, inheritance, belief, theft, and debt problems. Studi ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan sikap individu dan kelompok orang Madura terhadap tradisi carok serta alasan-alasan terjadinya carok. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif dengan subyek berjumlah 195 orang. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah pengamatan, angket, dan wawancara. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, ditemukan 4 sikap individu terhadap carok meliputi 75% tidak senang memiliki tradisi carok, 60% tidak melakukan carok, 77,38%, menyelesaikan persoalan secara bijak tanpa carok, dan 77,40 tidak melakukan carok karena taat terhadap hukum negara dan agama. Sedangkan 5 sikap kelompok orang Madura terhadap carok meliputi: 64,16% menerima aarok bukanlah budaya orang Madura, 81,11% menyatakan masyarakat Madura cinta damai, 86,11% menyatakan carok tidak mewakili orang Madura, 82,44% menerima carok merupakan perbuatan keji dan melanggar hukum, dan 76,11% menyatakan akan menyelesaikan persoalan secara bijak tanpa carok. Selain itu, ditemukan bahwa motif-motif terjadinya carok adalah karena wanita, kesalahpahaman, warisan, keyakinan, pencurian dan) hutang piutang.

Abstract

Water is a primary requirement for humans, the process of obtaining it can be done in various ways, one of them is the underground water drilling process. The process of underground water drilling is also done in Sono Tengah. Because it is managed conventionally the water distribution process has not been maximized and in accordance with the expectations of all citizens. The results of initial observation at the drilling site is the need for clean water network arrangement and good administrative governance. Based on these two programs, the IbM program emphasizes the improvement of network and good administrative management system through the utilization of computerized system. Through the utilization of science and technology in the form of rearrangement of existing pipelines is expected to occur the distribution of water to every citizen well and all citizens in Sono Tengah can jointly enjoy the existence of well water drill. Therefore, based on the above fact, maintenance is required periodically and permanently for the continuity of the distribution of clean water. In this case IKIP Budi Utomo as one of the universities in Malang feel care and do one of the tri dharma that is devotion to society and results obtained are expected to be a good cooperation between the community and campus in the form of mutual assistance and coordinate between universities as the printing of scholars and the community as stakeholders.

Abstract

The study aims at forming larning group and improving students’ learning achievement of the elementary, junior, and senior schools at villages Bandungrejosari and Bakalankrajan Kecamatan Sukun Malang. The study uses quantitative-qualitative descritptive approach. The subjects are 15 local peopleas IbM cooperative partners trained to be learning counseling instructors and (2) 138 elementary , 18 junior, and 14 senior high school students joining with learning group and learning counseling at villages Bandungrejosari and Bakalankrajan kecamatan Sukun Malang. The instruments are observation sheet and test consisting of pretest and posttest. Based on the result achieved, the IbM program got extraordinary encouragement and symphaty from local people, villages, schools, and social leaders. The learning counseling activity was going on for 3 months from September 1 to November 29, 2014. Based on the test analysis, it was found that learning group formation by providing learning counseling could give significant influence which could be shown in that the mean of the posttest was higher than that of pretest for the students of elementary, junior, and senior schools at villages Bandungrejosari and Bakalankrajan kecamatan Sukun Malang.

Abstract

Batasan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah pemilihan bahan ajar sastra di SMA. Rumusan masalah yang akan dikaji terkait pembelajaran mandiri yaitu:  apakah materi pembelajaran dalam novel sastra Indonesia sesuai dengan pendidikan karakter?  bagaimana mempersiapkan pembelajaran apresiasi siswa SMA? Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil analisis berupa deskripsi, tidak hanya angka atau koefisien tentang hubungan antar variabel, tetapi objek yang dianalisis tentu saja pendidikan karakter yang sesuai dengan karakternya. Data yang dikumpulkan berupa kata-kata, gambar dan bukan angka. Sumber data sekunder dalam penelitian ini adalah buku dan artikel yang memiliki relevansi untuk memperkuat argumentasi dan melengkapi hasil penelitian ini. Teknik menyimak dan mencatat dalam penelitian ini berarti peneliti sebagai instrumen menyimak dengan seksama, terarah, dan menyeluruh terhadap sumber data berupa teks novel sastra Indonesia untuk memperoleh data yang diinginkan. Analisis yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik membaca berulang, artinya pembaca bekerja terus menerus melalui membaca teks sastra secara bolak-balik dari awal sampai akhir. Hasil analisis data penelitian ini yaitu:  wanita yang tabah dalam menghadapi cobaan;  membantu orang yang tidak mampu; menyesal karena sombong; peduli membantu anak terlantar; rasa kemanusiaan terhadap orang lain; kasih sayang terhadap orang lain. wanita yang bisu; peduli membantu orang sakit, dan lain-lain.

Abstract

Background. Karmina is one type of pantun of Indonesian intangible cultural heritage that is important to preserve. Purpose. This research aims to develop an innovation in flash pantun learning (Karmina) with a contextual approach and role-playing method at the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah and Elementary School levels in accordance with the independent learning platform. Method. This research uses a qualitative approach and the Borg & Gall development method. Data collection techniques used tests, observations, and interviews, while data analysis techniques used a flow analysis model. Data validity was done by triangulation technique. The data sources were students and teachers of elementary schools and madrasah Ibtidaiyah. The research locations are in Malang and Tulungagung. Results. The results of data analysis show (1) with a contextual approach, 100% of learners can make the cover and content of vocabulary used in daily conversation; (2) with the role playing method, Karmina linking learning is 100% complete, because learners can turn dialog into Karmina linking when playing roles; and (3) the Karmina linking learning model using a contextual approach and role playing method makes the learning atmosphere active, dynamic, fun, and meaningful. Conclusion. With these findings, it is suggested that Elementary School and Madrasah Ibtidaiyah teachers can use these findings for pantun learning to make it fun and meaningful for students, so that the nation's cultural heritage as a whole can be preserved.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of technology, particularly in augmented reality (AR), has opened new possibilities for interactive language learning. Traditional language learning methods often fail to engage learners actively, limiting the development of real-world communication skills. AR, with its immersive and interactive nature, offers an innovative approach that can bridge this gap by providing contextualized language learning experiences. This research aims to explore how augmented reality can be leveraged to enhance the effectiveness and engagement of language learners in both formal and informal educational settings. A mixed-methods research design was employed, combining quantitative data from language proficiency assessments and qualitative insights gathered through surveys and interviews with both learners and educators. AR-based language learning applications were implemented over a period of three months with a sample of 150 students, and their progress was monitored through pre- and post-tests. Learners interacted with virtual objects, scenarios, and conversations in real-world environments, providing immersive language practice opportunities. The results indicated a significant improvement in language proficiency, particularly in speaking and listening skills, with learners showing increased confidence and engagement. AR-enhanced lessons allowed students to practice language in context, making the learning process more intuitive and enjoyable.

Abstract

Menulis deskripsi merupakan keterampilan menulis yang sangat penting diajarkan sejak tingkat sekolah dasar. Untuk memudahkan peserta didik berlatih menulis teks deskripsi diperlukan media pembelajaran yang menarik. Augmented Reality (AR) merupakan teknologi media pembelajaran yang mudah diserap oleh peserta didik karena dapat menampilkan gambar tiga dimensi (3D), interaktif, mudah digerakkan, memberikan keterangan, dan suara yang diminta oleh pengguna. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan proses dan hasil peningkatan kompetensi menulis deskripsi peserta didik dengan media pembelajaran AR. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan tindakan kelas adaptasi dari Kemmis Taggart. Setiap siklus pembelajaran terdiri atas tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi.  Sumber data penelitian, peserta didik kelas V Sekolah Dasar Negeri 5 Purwantoro Malang. Data penelitian berupa hasil penilaian teks deskripsi yang ditulis oleh peserta didik, penilaian melalui rubrik pengamatan, dan wawancara, serta hasil refleksi  Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam dua siklus yang melibatkan guru pamong dan mahasiswa program profesi guru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan penggunaan media pembelajaran AR dapat meningkatkan kompetensi menulis deskripsi peserta didik secara signifikan dari 50% tuntas menjadi 100% tuntas. Sehubungan dengan itu, Penggunaan media pembelajaran AR Asemblr EDU. direkomendasikan dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan literasi menulis genre lain seperti deskripsi dan prosa fiksi.

Abstract

(Title: Interogation W.S. Rendra on Industry Development in the Government of The New Orde Age: A Transdiciplinary Study). W.S. Rendra is a Man of letters whom always interesting to be studied from social science disciplines, because most of his works are created from the results of his research on socio politics in his era. His critical strength, his spirit of  nationalism and his courage make his works to be the spirit of rising new awareness for organic intellectuals to fight against dehumanization of his nation. The New Order Government was a system of government that did not allow of a second choices. In the name of state stabilities, everything was commanded from the top to down. The questions were considered hostile to the state and have legal consequences. This strategy occurs in every policy. This article was taken from part of the results of research from the works of W.S. Rendra who interogated the concept and realization of development was implemented  by the New Order Government. This study uses the analysis of transdisipliner theory with a designing of  critical discourse's Michel Foucault. Abstract

Pantun (rhymes) is an ancient poetry of Indonesia's intangible cultural heritage. This research aims to develop learning innovations related rhymes by PjBL model with a contextual approach and sociodrama methods. This research uses a qualitative approach and the Borg & Gall development method. Data collection techniques use diagnostic tests, observations and projects, while data analysis techniques use a flowing analysis model. Data verification was used using triangulation techniques. The research data source is junior high school students. Research Location in Malang. The results of data analysis show (1) the implementation of the PjBL learning model with a contextual approach, 98% of learners can make the cover and content of vocabulary used in daily conversations; (2) implementation of the PjBL learning model with a contextual approach and sociodrama method for learning related rhymes 100% complete. Students can change dialogue into related rhymes for role playing. The learning atmosphere is conducived and full of joy. Thus, it is concluded that the implementation of the development of the PjBL learning model with a contextual approach and sociodrama method creates an active, dynamic, fun and meaningful learning atmosphere. With these findings, it is recommended that secondary school teachers can use these findings for learning rhymes so that they are fun and meaningful for students, so that the nation's cultural heritage can be preserved and students' communication becomes more characterful and polite.
