Abstract

This paper describes personal and communal attitudes of Maduranese towards carok and the reasons of existing carok. The study’s approach is descriptive involving 195 Maduranese. Observation, questionnaire, and interview were implemented to collect data. Result of analysis shows 4 personal attitudes toward carok as follow: 75% accept that they are not intend to do carok, 60% accept that they will not do carok in any reason, 77.38% accept to solve all cases wisely without doing carok, and (4) 77.40% will not do carok because of being obedient to state and religious rules. While 5 Maduranese communal attitudes toward carok involve: 64.16% accept that carok is not Madura tradition, 81.11%  accept that Madura community love peace, 86.11% agree that carok does not represent Maduranese, 82.44% agree that carok is bad rules, and 76.11%  accept to solve all cases wisely without carok. It is also concluded that the motivation of carok are  women, misunderstanding, inheritance, belief, theft, and debt problems. Studi ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan sikap individu dan kelompok orang Madura terhadap tradisi carok serta alasan-alasan terjadinya carok. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif dengan subyek berjumlah 195 orang. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah pengamatan, angket, dan wawancara. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, ditemukan 4 sikap individu terhadap carok meliputi 75% tidak senang memiliki tradisi carok, 60% tidak melakukan carok, 77,38%, menyelesaikan persoalan secara bijak tanpa carok, dan 77,40 tidak melakukan carok karena taat terhadap hukum negara dan agama. Sedangkan 5 sikap kelompok orang Madura terhadap carok meliputi: 64,16% menerima aarok bukanlah budaya orang Madura, 81,11% menyatakan masyarakat Madura cinta damai, 86,11% menyatakan carok tidak mewakili orang Madura, 82,44% menerima carok merupakan perbuatan keji dan melanggar hukum, dan 76,11% menyatakan akan menyelesaikan persoalan secara bijak tanpa carok. Selain itu, ditemukan bahwa motif-motif terjadinya carok adalah karena wanita, kesalahpahaman, warisan, keyakinan, pencurian dan) hutang piutang.

Abstract

The study aims at developing a nation character and culture values-based interactive English textbook and examining its effectivity for the elementary school students in Malang. The development and experiment designs are used and the subjects  consist of experts and target. The expert is an expert in instructional materials and multimedia, while the target is students of the sixth grade Elementary School Dinoyo IV Malang which totals 40 students. The true experiment design, pretest-posttest control group is used  by random sampling technique to obtain experiment and control groups, each of which consists of 20 students. The instruments are questionnaire, interview, and test. Based on the data analysis, it was found that the interactive English textbook fulfilled good criteria of textbook in either material coverage and selection or multimedia application. The positive responses of the students and teachers indicated good quality of textbook in improving students’ competences in English. Through statistical test, it was found t result (5.93)  was bigger than t table (1.310) in level of significance 0.01 and (1.697) in level of significance 0.05. It means that Ha which states “The students of class VIB Elementary School Dinoyo IV Malang who were taught using the nation character and culture values-based interactive English textbook, had better English competences than those of class VIA who were taught using manual English textbook” was accepted, while H0 was rejected. Therefore, it can be concluded that the  use of the textbook is very effective in improving the students English competences of Elementary School in Malang.

Abstract

The purpose of the study is to describe the need analysis rate of English textbook for secondary school based on the character value within the curriculum 13. It also identifies the map of the student’s knowledge on character based education. The research design is need assessment survey, while the data collection techniques involve questionnaire and deep interview. The sample of the study is 6 secondary schools implementing curriculum 13 in Kabupaten Sumenep. The target subject are 6 English teachers and 130 students of secondary schools. The data analysis shows that 6 secondary schools implementing curriculum 13 at present needed an English textbook based on the character value which can be used as a supplement of the required English book from Kemendikbud. It is expected to facilitate the students study and understand English textbook. Besides, out of 130 students, 92.06% indicate excellent level of their knowledge and understanding toward nation character and culture values. Nevertheless, 7.94 students have not been able to answer some questions correctly.

Abstract

Turbin Cross-flow merupakan salah satu jenis turbin implus yang paling umum digunakandalam pembangkit listrik tenaga air salah satunya pembangkit listrik tenaga pikohidro. Lokasiyang dapat diaplikasikan turbin Cross-flow sebagai pembangkit listrik tenaga pikohidro yaitudi desa Sumber Agung Kecamatan Suoh Kabupaten Lampung Barat. Salah satu faktor yangmempengaruhi kinerja turbin Cross-flow yaitu bukaan guide vane. Penelitian ini bertujuanuntuk mengetahui pengaruh bukaan guide vane terhadap kinerja turbin Cross-flow. Metodeyang digunakan dalam penelitian ini melalui 6 (enam) tahapan yaitu studi pustaka, observasi,desain turbin, pembuatan tuirbin, pengujian turbin dan analisis hasil pengujian. Variasi bukaanguide vane yaitu bukaan 20%, 40%, 60% dan 80%. Dari hasil penelitian diketahui bahwabukaan guide vane berpengarh terhadap kinerja turbin Cross-flow. Efisiensi tertinggi turbinCross-flow diperoleh dengan bukaan guide vane 80% yaitu sebesar 40%, sedangkan untukbukaan 60% efisiensi turbin sebesar 39%, untuk bukaan 40% efisiensi turbin sebesar 37% danbukaan 20 efisaiensi turbin sebesar 35%.Kata Kunci: Guide Vane , Kinerja, Turbin Cross-flow

Abstract

The study aims at forming larning group and improving students’ learning achievement of the elementary, junior, and senior schools at villages Bandungrejosari and Bakalankrajan Kecamatan Sukun Malang. The study uses quantitative-qualitative descritptive approach. The subjects are 15 local peopleas IbM cooperative partners trained to be learning counseling instructors and (2) 138 elementary , 18 junior, and 14 senior high school students joining with learning group and learning counseling at villages Bandungrejosari and Bakalankrajan kecamatan Sukun Malang. The instruments are observation sheet and test consisting of pretest and posttest. Based on the result achieved, the IbM program got extraordinary encouragement and symphaty from local people, villages, schools, and social leaders. The learning counseling activity was going on for 3 months from September 1 to November 29, 2014. Based on the test analysis, it was found that learning group formation by providing learning counseling could give significant influence which could be shown in that the mean of the posttest was higher than that of pretest for the students of elementary, junior, and senior schools at villages Bandungrejosari and Bakalankrajan kecamatan Sukun Malang.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besarnya hubungan antara kekuatan otot lengan, koordinasi mata tangan dan fleksibilitas pergelangan tangan terhadap ketepatan long servis bulutangkis. Metode yang digunakan adalah korelasional. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) Terdapat korelasi yang signifikan antara kekuatan otot lengan terhadap ketepatan long servis bulutangkis rx1y= 0.779 dengan kontribusi sebesar 60.68%, (2) Terdapat korelasi yang sangat signifikan antara koordinasi mata-tangan terhadap ketepatan long servis bulutangkis dengan rx2y = 0.723 dengan kontribusi sebesar 52.57% (3) Terdapat korelasi yang signifikan antara fleksibilitas pergelangan tangan terhadap ketepatan long servis bulutangkis rx3y = 0.822 dengan kontribusi sebesar 67.57%, dan (4) Terdapat korelasi yang signifikan antara kekuatan otot lengan, koordinasi mata tangan dan fleksibilitas pergelangan tangan terhadap ketepatan long servis bulutangkis dengan rx123y = 0.942 dengan kontribusi sebesar 88.73%.

Abstract

Tenis lapangan merupakan permainan sangat populer di mancanegara tetapi di satu tahun terakhir ini pertandingan sangat minim di karenakan adanya wabah penyakit covid 19 yang melanda dunia begitu pun di indonesia singgah Pekan Olahraga Nasional (PON) XX Papua yang telah di rencanakan di tahun 2020 ditundah dan di rencanakan kembali pada bulan oktober tahun 2022. Sehubungan dengan hal tersebut maka ada pimikiran untuk mengadakan pengabdian masyarakat, dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah “Pelatihan Perwasitan Tenis Lapangan Lesensi Daerah Kota Jayapura 2021 yang bertujuan untuk mempersiapakan petugas wasit dan linesmen pada Pekan Olahraga Nasional (PON) XX Papua 2021, agar nantinya mampu melaksanakan tugas sebagai pengadil dalam lapangan dan dapat menunjukkan kwualitas dalam memimpin pertandingan, maupun menerapkan peraturan-peraturan tenis lapangan yang didapatkan dalam pelatihan. Dalam metode pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian pelatihan ini dilakukan dua cara yaitu pemberian materi teori dan demonstrasi langsung di lapangan menjadi wasit. hasil dari pelatihan ini yang berjumlah 30 orang peserta menunjukkan bahwa tingkat pemahaman tentang peraturan-peraturan tenis lapangan dinyatakan baik dan bersyarat memperoleh sertifikat lisensi daerah, Sehingga peserta dapat bertugas pada kejuaran tenis lapangan sebagai wasit dan linesman.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk melihat dampak Kredit Usaha Rakyat terhadap indikator-indikator ekonomi di Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan. Penelitian ini menganalisis persinggungan antara tren KUR dengan tren pengangguran, kemiskinan, pendapatan per kapita, dan pertumbuhan Ekonomi.  Salah satu dari hasil penelitian ini menunjukan. Pada Wilayah Ajatappareng  penyaluran KUR tidak berdampak bagi pengangguran. Tetapi KUR berdampak pada kemiskinan kecuali Kota Pare-Pare dan Kabupaten Enrekang. Lain halnya dengan KUR yang berdampak pada pendapatan per kapita di seluruh kabupaten di wilayah Ajatappareng. Sedangkan KUR Tidak berdampak pada Wilayah Ajatappareng kecuali Kabupaten Barru.

Abstract

methods, which may be expected to be used as alternative models of solutions in the context of developing the quality of learning the game of tennis. The method used is an experimental method using the Pretest Posttest Control Group Design, in this design the sample is obtained for the total population, then an initial test or pre-test is held. The initial test was carried out to determine the initial ability of the sample, in this case the ability to play tennis. The data from the initial test results are arranged based on ranking, the aim is to determine the ability of playing tennis skills, samples ranging from the largest to the lowest. Then divided into two, then two objects that have the same score are matched using the maching method so that there are two groups that have almost the same tennis playing skills. The analysis used in this study is the t test which has fulfilled the homogeneous requirements and is normally distributed, based on the calculation results, it is known that the value of t = 2.42 > t table = 2.201, with a level of = 0.05. So it can be concluded that the reciprocal teaching method is more influential than the self-check method.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the strategies implemented by the Village Head to enhance social inclusion in Bulo-Bulo Village, Pujananting District, Barru Regency. The research methodology utilized is qualitative research with a case study approach. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews with the Village Head, community leaders, and other stakeholders in the village. The results of the study indicate that the Village Head has implemented various effective strategies to improve social inclusion in Bulo-Bulo Village. These strategies include enhancing accessibility to public services, developing inclusive infrastructure, empowering the community through training programs and skill development, and utilizing information technology to expand communication and information dissemination. The implementation of these strategies has had a significantly positive impact on the level of social inclusion in Bulo-Bulo Village. There has been an increase in community participation in social and economic activities, improved access to healthcare and education services, and heightened awareness of the importance of social inclusion in village development. Based on the research findings, it is concluded that the strategies employed by the Village Head to enhance social inclusion in Bulo-Bulo Village can serve as a relevant model for application in other areas. Cooperation among local governments, communities, and the private sector is necessary to support the broader and sustainable implementation of social inclusion strategies across various regions in Indonesia.
