Abstract

Learning media play a crucial and inseparable role in the teaching and learning process. Appropriate learning methods and media, such as videos and images, are necessary to facilitate students' understanding of the material presented by the teacher, ultimately maximizing learning outcomes. This study aims to determine the differences in biology learning outcomes using video media and images in Class VII of SMPN 1 Gunungsari. This type of research is a quasi-experimental study. The population of this study consisted of all students in class VII, comprising 10 classes with a total of 340 students. This study employed two classes: the experimental class and the control class. This study employed a purposive sampling technique, where the sample consisted of students who were more active and had stable learning outcomes. The experimental class consisted of 33 students, and the control class consisted of 33 students, resulting in a total sample of 66 students. The experimental class received learning through video media, while the control class used images. The results of this study showed that the average post-test score of the experimental class was 92.09, and the average post-test score of the control class was 80.06. Thus, the learning outcomes of students taught with video media were better than images. The results of the independent sample t-test showed a significant (2-tailed) value of 0.000 (p < 0.05), indicating a difference in biology learning outcomes between video media and images in class VII students of SMPN 1 Gunungsari.

Abstract

Social problems are a form of problems what happens in people's lives due to the lack of balanced social interactions and various social problems of the community, there are several social problems including high rates of dropping out of children and youth; the motivation to continue this education level is very low; association of youth who tend to be negative towards liquor and drug use; the many potential natural resources that have not been utilized optimally by the local population. One of the rare forms to solve these problems is by proposing the establishment of a built-in STKIP MBB partner, where this partnership is expected to be sustainable. The target of this activity is to establish the STKIP Muhammadiyah Bangka Belitung fostered partners through the empowerment of youth in the fields of education, culture, research, and economics. With the establishment of these fostered partners, it will provide solutions to social problems that exist in the environment of the special Batu Belubang Village in the field of education. Masalah sosial adalah bentuk problema yang terjadi dalam kehidupan masyarakat yang disebabkan karena adanya interaksi sosial yang kurang seimbang dan berbagai permasalahan sosial masyarakat yakni terdapat beberapa permasalahan sosial di antaranya tingginya angka anak-anak dan pemuda putus sekolah; motivasi untuk meneruskan jenjang pendidikan ini sangat rendah; pergaulan pemuda yang cenderung negatif ke arah minuman keras dan penggunaan narkoba; banyaknya potensi sumber daya alam yang belum dimanfaatkan secara maksimal oleh penduduk setempat. Salah satu bentuk langka untuk memecahkan permasalahan tersebut dengan mengusulkan pembentukan mitra binaan STKIP MBB, di mana kemitraan ini sifatnya diharapkan dapat berkelanjutan. Target kegiatan ini adalah Membentuk mitra binaan STKIP Muhammadiyah Bangka Belitung melalui pemberdayaan karang taruna dalam bidang pendidikan, kebudayaan, penelitian, dan ekonomi. Dengan adanya pembentukan mitra binaan ini maka akan memberikan solusi bagi permasalahan sosial yang ada di lingkungan Desa Batu Belubang terkhususkan dalam bidang pendidikannya.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi bentuk intervensi yang diterapkan oleh Pusat Rehabilitasi YAKKUM Yogyakarta, mengevaluasi dampaknya terhadap kondisi psikologis dan sosial penyandang disabilitas daksa, serta merumuskan strategi intervensi yang dapat direplikasi dalam konteks layanan rehabilitasi lainnya di Indonesia. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus, data diperoleh melalui wawancara mendalam dengan staf dan klien, serta observasi terhadap aktivitas rehabilitasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi pelatihan vokasional, asesmen multidimensi yang berkelanjutan, dan pendekatan berbasis komunitas memiliki kontribusi signifikan terhadap peningkatan penerimaan diri, kepercayaan diri, dan partisipasi sosial klien. Strategi efektif yang dapat direplikasi meliputi integrasi layanan teknis dan sosial, asesmen berjenjang, pelibatan komunitas lokal, serta pemantauan psikososial secara sistematis. Temuan ini menggarisbawahi pentingnya pendekatan holistik dalam rehabilitasi penyandang disabilitas daksa untuk mendukung pemulihan yang berkelanjutan dan kontekstual.

Abstract

Innovation in transaction systems in traditional markets represents an adaptive response to the dynamics of trading activities that demand efficiency and flexibility. One such innovative phenomenon is the use of wooden money at the Tumpah Pringgodani Market in Balikpapan, a wooden token that serves as a temporary means of payment for small-value transactions. This study aims to analyze the form, mechanism, and implications of wooden money use on traders' working capital management by utilizing secondary data sourced from news articles, video documentation, social media content, and relevant academic literature. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative approach through desk research techniques, which involves the systematic collection, selection, verification, and interpretation of secondary data. The results indicate that wooden money plays a role in expediting transactions, improving operational smoothness, and helping traders manage daily cash flow more stably. However, this practice also has limitations, including the lack of formal recording standards, the potential for calculation errors, and a high dependence on trust among market participants. Overall, the use of wooden money can be seen as an effective local innovation in supporting working capital management, although strengthening administrative mechanisms is needed to ensure its implementation is more accountable and sustainable.
