Abstract

Use of the drug doxorubicin for cancer therapy causes decreasing of immune system reported. Leaves of Ficus septica Burm. F and leaves of Moringa oleifera as immunostimulatory agents. The purpose of this study, among others, determine the combined effects of ethanol extract of Ficus septica Burm. F leaves and ethanol extract of Moringa oleifera leaves as co-chemotherapy for in female rats Sprague Dawley strain induced doxorubicin. Eighteen Sprague Dawley rats were divided into six treatment groups, normal group was given 0.9% NaCl 10ml / kgBB, positive control group were given by doxorubicin with dose of 4.67 mg / kgBB, single-dose treatment group were each given ethanol extract of Ficus septica Burm F leaves dose of 750 mg / kgBB and ethanol extract of Moringa oleifera leaves 500 mg / kgBB, treatment groups were given by combination of ethanol extract Ficus septica Burm. F leaves and Moringa oleifera leaves with a dose of 1.25 g / kgBB and a dose of 1 , 75 g / kgBB. treatment carried out for 7 days. On days 1 and 4 of each treatment groups except the normal group induced by doxorubicin 4.67 mg / kgBB intramuscularly. Blood sampling performed on day 0 and 7 th for lymphocytes CD3+ and lymphocytes CD8+ test. The results showed that the combination of ethanol extract Ficus septica burm. F leaves and Moringa oleifera leaves dose of 1.25 g / kgBB and the dose of 1.75 g / kgBB can enhanched immune system relative small which was not statistically significantly different (p> 0.05). However, a single dose of ethanol extract Moringa oleifera leaves dose of 500 mg/kg have immunostimulatory activity as lymphocytes CD3+ and lymphocytes CD8+ were more effective than a single dose of ethanol extract of Ficus septica Burm. F leaves dose of 750 mg/kgBB.

Abstract

Mangosteen is one of the largest commodities in Kaliglagah Village, Jember, and branding efforts are required to enhance its recognition and establish its identity. Social media was chosen as a strategic platform for branding, aiming to promote the mangosteen and its advantages while empowering farmers and improving the village’s economy. This study employed a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach, engaging local communities and leaders in learning, problem-solving, and social change. Although Kaliglagah mangosteen is of premium quality, it lacks a strong identity as a signature product of Jember. Branding strategies were implemented through Blogspot, Instagram, and Facebook platforms, involving collaboration with farmers, farmer groups, and the village government. Activities included problem identification, collaborative planning, communication with agricultural authorities, and branding execution via social media. These efforts aim to expand markets, strengthen local identity, and support farmer empowerment. Evaluations showed positive responses, although improving digital literacy among farmer groups remains necessary for optimal results. Media sosial dipilih sebagai sarana strategis untuk branding, dengan harapan memperkenalkan manggis beserta keunggulannya, sekaligus memberdayakan petani dan meningkatkan perekonomian desa. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan Participatory Action Research (PAR), melibatkan masyarakat dan tokoh lokal dalam pembelajaran, pemecahan masalah, dan perubahan sosial. Meskipun manggis Kaliglagah memiliki kualitas unggulan, identitasnya sebagai produk khas daerah Jember belum kuat. Strategi branding dilakukan melalui platform seperti Blogspot, Instagram, dan Facebook, melibatkan kolaborasi dengan petani, kelompok tani, dan pemerintah desa. Kegiatan meliputi identifikasi permasalahan, perencanaan kolaboratif, komunikasi dengan dinas pertanian, dan pelaksanaan branding melalui media sosial. Upaya ini diharapkan memperluas pasar, memperkuat identitas lokal, dan mendukung pemberdayaan petani. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis relasi makna sinonim dan antonim dalam kumpulan puisi Dapur-dapur Pinggiran karya Arip Senjaya. Relasi makna sinonim dan antonim merupakan salah satu kajian semantik yang membahas kata yang memiliki persamaan makna dan kata yang maknanya berlawanan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif dengan bentuk penelitian kualitatif. Sumber data yang diperoleh untuk dianalisis berasal dari buku kumpulan puisi Dapur-dapur Pinggiran karya Arip Senjaya. Data yang dikaji oleh peneliti adalah kata-kata dalam larik puisi yang memili relasi sinonim dan antonim. Teknik yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik studi dokumenter yaitu peneliti menghimpun data melalui buku puisi. Teknik analisis data dilakukan melalui tahap reduksi data, penyajian data, dan menyimpulkan data. Relasi sinonim dan antonim tidak hanya ditemukan dalam bentuk cerita pendek ataupun novel tetapi, dapat ditemukan juga dalam larik-larik puisi. Dapur-dapur Pinggiran merupakan puisi yang berisikan menu-menu masakan viral selama pandemi. Larik-larik dalam puisi tersebut ditulis dengan bahasa yang sederhana namun, tetap indah dibaca. Menu-menu viral selama pandemi seperti dalgona, seblak, dan kisah-kisah yang terjadi selama pandemi. Puisi Dapur-Dapur Pinggiran merupakan kumpulan puisi yang mengingatkan kita tentang fenomena selama pandemi terjadi. Setiap relasi yang terdapat dalam larik-larik puisi tersebut dapat dijadikan perbandingan dalam memahami sebuah makna. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa 6 judul puisi yang telah di telaah memiliki relasi makna sinonim dan 3 judul puisi  yang memiliki relasi makna antonim.

Abstract

Abstract: Introduction: ANC is an examination of pregnancy to optimize the physical and mental health of pregnant women, to reduce maternal and child mortality, during the pandemic, although many factors can affect it, including knowledge, parity and maternal occupation. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of these factors on the regularity of ANC visits to pregnant women in the Covid-19 pandemic era and to determine the most influential factors. Methods: This research was conducted in the Mandala Public Health Center with 91 pregnant women as respondents, or the total population, when analyzing the data could be processed into 83 people. The statistical test used is Chi Square, to determine the most influential factors using logistic regression test with the assumption that the data is normally distributed. Results: The results showed that the relationship between knowledge and regularity of doing ANC was obtained p value = 0.412, which means that there is no significant relationship. The relationship between parity and regularity in conducting ANC obtained a significant value of p value = 0.015, which means that there is a significant relationship between respondents' parity and regularity in conducting ANC. The relationship between work and regularity of doing ANC obtained a significant value of p value = 0.826 which means there is no significant relationship. Conclusion: The regularity of visits by pregnant women to perform ANC is not related to knowledge parity and maternal occupation. This research is expected to be an input to develop a work program in increasing ANC coverage during a pandemic in order to minimize the incidence of maternal and infant mortality. Abstrak: Pendahuluan: ANC merupakan pemeriksaan atas kehamilan untuk mengoptimalkan kesehatan fisik dan mental ibu hamil, untuk menekan angka kematian ibu dan anak, masa masa pandemic meskipun banyak factor yang dapat mempengaruhinya diantaranya pengetahuan, paritas dan pekerjaan ibu. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh factor-faktor tersebut terhadap keteraturan kunjungan ANC pada ibu hamil di era pandemic covid-19 serta mengetahui factor yang paling berpengaruh. Metode: Penelitian ini dilakukan di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Mandala dengan responden 91 ibu hamil, atau total populasi, saat melakukan analisis data data yang dapat diolah menjadi 83 orang. Uji statistic yang digunakan menggunakan Chi Square, untuk mengetahui factor yang paling berpengaruh menggunakan uji regresi logistic dengan asumsi data terdistribusi normal. Hasil: Hasil penelitian diperoleh hubungan pengetahuan dengan keteraturan melakukan ANC diperoleh nilai p value = 0.412 artinya tidak ada hubungan yang signfikan. Hubungan paritas dengan keteraturan melakukan ANC diperoleh nilai signifikan p value = 0.015 artinya ada hubungan yang signifikan antara paritas responden dengan keteraturan melakukan ANC. Hubungan pekerjaan dengan keteraturan melakukan ANC diperoleh nilai signifikan p value = 0.826 berarti tidak ada hubungan yang signifikan. Kesimpulan: Keteraturan kunjungan ibu hamil melakukan ANC tiak berhubungan dengan pengetahuan, paritas dan pekerjaan ibu. Penelitian ini diharapkan sebagai masukan untuk menyusun program kerja dalam meningkatkan cakupan ANC pada masa pandemic guna meminimalisir kejadian kematian ibu dan bayi.

Abstract

Background Dysmenorrhea is a menstrual condition that is accompanied by pain in the form of cramps in the abdomen which is caused by the increased production of prostaglandins. Young women who are experiencing dysmenorrhea may experience decreased activity and productivity whether in learning or working. Therefore, dysmenorrhea at the age of adolescence should be handled in order not to make a worse impact, one of the ways that can be done to decrease dysmenorrhea is massage effleurage. Purpose Knowing the intensity of dysmenorrhea in young women that given massage effleurage. Methods The research design used was a traditional review with compare method. selected the journals published from 2015 – 2020 about the effect of massage effleurage on the intensity of dysmenorrhea that was published on google scholar databases. Results The results of five journals that have been analyzed show that there are differences in the intensity of dysmenorrhea before and after giving massage effleurage, where the scale of dysmenorrhea in young women tends to decrease after giving massage effleurage. Conclusion Massage effleurage is effective to reduce the intensity of dysmenorrhea in young women.

Abstract

Background: Persuasive communication is one method of communication that can influence or change the attitude of others. Persuasive communication is very important in the family, because the role of the family is very influential in shaping the character of children. A persuasive communication approach, the head of the family can provide direction, guidance and examples to children such as providing a better understanding of the prevention of Covid-19 by family members so that they can improve a good attitude in preventing Covid-19. Purpose : find out the relationship of family persuasive communication to the attitude of preventing Covid-19 in the community in RT 001/003 Pajang Village, Tangerang City Methods : This type of research is quantitative research with cross sectional design. The sample is 211 people. The sampling technique is purposive sampling. Results : There is a significant relationship between family persuasive communication on the attitude of preventing Covid-19 in the community in RT 001/003 Pajang Village, Tangerang City with p value: 0.026. Conclusion : show that most respondents use family persuasive communication, namely persuasive as many as 117 respondents (55.5%) and positive Covid-19 prevention attitudes as many as 120 respondents (56.9%). Based on a bivariate analysis between family persuasive communication on Covid-19 prevention attitudes (p value: 0.026), which means that there is a significant relationship between family persuasive communication and Covid-19 prevention attitudes in the community in RT 001/003 Pajang Village, Tangerang City.

Abstract

The use of KWARBI media in learning can be integrated effectively into Think Pair Share (TPS) cooperative learning activities by modifying it into an engaging educational game. The TPS learning model supported by KWARBI media serves as an implementation of the 2013 Curriculum, which emphasizes scientific, student-centered, and activity-based learning processes. This study employed Classroom Action Research (PTK) consisting of two cycles with the primary objective of determining the extent to which the use of the TPS model assisted by KWARBI media can improve students’ biology learning outcomes. During the learning process, KWARBI media was utilized both in discussion sessions and during evaluation activities. Its visual and verbal elements help students strengthen memory retention, making the learning experience more meaningful and long-lasting. The TPS model combined with KWARBI media also reflects the principles of PAIKEM (Active, Innovative, Creative, Effective, and Enjoyable Learning), as it encourages students to think individually, collaborate in pairs, and communicate findings in groups. The results of this study showed that students’ learning outcomes on Plantae and Animalia topics significantly improved after the implementation of this learning approach in class X-Acceleration of SMA Negeri 1 Malang during the 2013–2014 academic year. Furthermore, the TPS strategy assisted by KWARBI media has the potential to be applied to other basic competencies or topics that possess conceptual characteristics similar to Plantae and Animalia. KWARBI media can also be developed by students as a creative assignment for materials that have not yet been prepared by the teacher, thus increasing student engagement and fostering independent learning skills.
