Abstract

The logical consequence of the natural state of West Java province, prone to disasters, requires humans there to be ready to deal with it. This includes senior high school students who get the material on disaster mitigation in schools and must be prepared to deal with disasters in their respective regions. The critical level of preparedness will minimize the possibility of losing a life. The research objective is to analyze the level of readiness of high school students in West Java province in the face of the three disasters that often occur in each region. The approach in this study uses quantitative descriptive with a survey method. The results showed that the level of preparedness of students in Garut for landslides has a score of 19.00, categorized Ready; the students in Tasikmalaya for earthquake disaster had the smallest value, namely, 18.88, categorized Ready, and the students in Pangandaran district for tsunami had the highest score is 22.32 and categorized Ready. In conclusion, there are significant differences in the preparedness of students in Garut, Tasikmalaya, and Pangandaran District.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan menggunakan desain pengabdian masyarakat untuk meningkatkan kesehatan masyarakat. Pengabdian ini dilakukan untuk melanjutkan hasil observasi terkait dengan Desa Tamansari. Hasil observasi menunjukkan bahwa banyak orang tua yang salah paham dalam memberikan asupan gizi kepada anak-anak mereka sehingga berdampak pada pertumbuhan dan perkembangan anak-anak tersebut. Data lapangan menunjukkan bahwa 96 anak di Desa Tamansari dari total 319 anak di Kecamatan Tamansari mengalami stunting. Tentu saja hal ini memiliki implikasi terhadap kualitas sumber daya manusia (SDM) Indonesia pada tahun 2045 di tengah bonus demografi yang sedang terjadi. Pemberdayaan masyarakat dalam kesempatan ini akan dilakukan dengan memberikan penyuluhan terkait pendidikan gizi dan sanitasi, serta memberikan bantuan makanan dasar dan makanan bergizi tinggi agar mereka yang terkena stunting dapat mengalami perbaikan kondisi sehingga nantinya dapat menjadi salah satu pelaku yang memberikan dampak positif dalam menciptakan Indonesia Emas 2045. The community service that will be carried out uses a community service design to improve community health. This service was carried out in order to continue the results of observations related to Tamansari Village. Where the results of observations show that there is a lot of misunderstanding from parents in providing nutritional intake to their children so that the impact on their children's growth and development is hampered. Fields data shows that 96 children in Tamansari Village out of 319 children in Tamansari District are affected by stunting. This of course has implications for the quality of Indonesia's human resources (HR) in 2045 amidst the demographic bonus that is occurring.Community empowerment on this occasion will be carried out by providing counseling related to nutrition and sanitation education, as well as providing basic food assistance and high-nutrient food so that those who have been affected by stunting can experience improvements in their conditions so that they can later become one of the actors who have a positive impact in creating a golden Indonesia 2045.

Abstract

Abstrak. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui adakah pengaruh media 3D Anatomy and Physiology berbasis Lesson Study terhadap hasil belajar dan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode pre-experimental dengan sampel menggunakan 35 siswa yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dan desain penelitian one grup pretest-posttest. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, pengaruh media 3D Anatomy and Physiology sebagai media pembelajaran dan kegiatan Lesson Study sebagai bentuk upaya meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran pada materi sistem sirkulasi, didapatkan bahwa uji hipotesis data hasil belajar dengan Wilcoxon Match Pairs Test memperoleh nilai signifikansi 0,000 (< 0,05) dan uji hipotesis kemampuan berpikir kritis dengan uji t memperoleh nilai 0,000 (< 0,05). Hal tersebut, dapat diartikan ada pengaruh media 3D Anatomy and Physiology berbasis Lesson Study terhadap hasil belajar dan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Kegiatan Lesson Study yang dilakukan dalam penelitian, terdiri dari tahap Plan (perencanaan), Do (pelaksanaan), dan See (refleksi) selama 3 kali pertemuan pembelajaran materi sistem sirkulasi. Pengaruh yang ditunjukkan setiap indikator hasil belajar dan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa, menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan tertinggi indikator hasil belajar terdapat pada indikator C4 (menganalisis) dan setelahnya pada indikator C1 (mengingat), sedangkan peningkatan terendah terdapat pada indikator C2 (memahami). Selanjtutnya, peningkatan nilai tertinggi indikator kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa terdapat pada indikator dukungan dasar (basic support), sedangkan peningkatan terendah terdapat pada indikator strategi dan taktik (strategy and tactics). Asbtract. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is an influence of 3D Anatomy and Physiology media based on Lesson Study on student learning outcomes and critical thinking skills. The research method used was a pre-experimental method with a sample using 35 students selected using purposive sampling techniques and one group pretest-posttest research design. Based on the results of the study, the influence of 3D Anatomy and Physiology media as a learning medium and Lesson Study activities as an effort to improve the quality of learning on circulatory system material, it was found that the hypothesis test of learning outcome data with the Wilcoxon Match Pairs Test obtained a significance value of 0.000 (< 0.05) and a hypothesis test of critical thinking skills with a t test obtained a value of 0.000 (< 0.05). This can be interpreted as the influence of 3D Anatomy and Physiology media based on Lesson Study on student learning outcomes and critical thinking skills. Lesson Study activities carried out in research consist of Plan (planning), Do (implementation), and See (reflection) stages for 3 learning meetings of circulation system material. The influence shown by each indicator of learning outcomes and students' critical thinking skills, shows that the highest increase in learning outcome indicators is found in indicator C4 (analyzing) and afterwards in indicator C1 (remembering), while the lowest increase is found in indicator C2 (understanding). Furthermore, the highest increase in the indicator of students' critical thinking ability was found in (the basic support) indicator, while the lowest increase was found in (the strategy and tactics) indicator.

Abstract

Augmented Reality Book is a learning media that utilizes metaverse technology to convert 2D objects into 3D, as an educational transformation in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0. This innovation aims to facilitate students in understanding cell material more deeply and thoroughly. This study aims to analyze the use, utilization, and influence of 3D Augmented Reality Book-based learning media in supporting educational transformation in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0, as well as to determine its impact on students' understanding of cell material. The method used in this research is a literature study, by collecting data and information from various references, such as international and national journals, scientific articles, theses, news, official websites of institutions, and other supporting documents. The secondary data collected is then analyzed to produce the conclusion that the use of 3D Augmented Reality Book can help students understand cell material thoroughly

Abstract

Climate change is a significant challenge that impacts various sectors, including fisheries. This study aims to determine the level of preparedness of fishermen, especially for small-scale fishermen in Tasikmalaya District in facing various impacts caused by climate change. The research method used is a quantitative and qualitative survey involving in-depth interviews with 41 local fishermen, participatory observation, and secondary data analysis. The results of the study indicate that the level of preparedness of small-scale fishermen in PPI Pamayangsari Tasikmalaya District is in the ready category with an index value of 79.2%. The preparedness indicator with the highest index value is the disaster warning system at 95%, and the lowest is resource mobilization at 66%. It is hoped that there will be further analysis of the socio-economic impacts on fishing households, such as changes in livelihoods, migration, education, and changes in gender roles in response to climate change.

Abstract

Critical thinking skills are essential for students, particularly in biology learning, as the material requires more in-depth thinking. The purpose of this research is to investigate the impact of game-based learning on the critical thinking skills of class XI students at SMA Negeri 1 Tasikmalaya. The research method used is a quasi-experiment with a non-equivalent control group design. The population in this study includes all class XI students learning biology. The sample was taken using purposive sampling, resulting in class XI-4 as the control group and XI-10 as the experimental group, with a total of 82 students. The instrument used in this study is a critical thinking skills test question that has been validated by experts in both construct and empirical aspects and analyzed using the Anates application with a validity value greater than 0.5 and a reliability value of 0.76, which falls within the range of 0.60 < r < 0.80, indicating that this instrument has a high level of reliability. The data analysis technique used is the ANCOVA hypothesis test with a critical thinking skills significance value of 0.07, meaning that the significance value is less than 0.05, and with a confidence level of 95%, it can be concluded that game-based learning simultaneously affects critical thinking skills of class XI students at SMA Negeri 1 Tasikmalaya in the 2023/2024 academic year. Abstrak. Keterampilan berpikir kritis penting dimiliki oleh peserta didik terutama dalam pembelajaran biologi karena materi yang dipelajari memerlukan pemikiran yang lebih. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh game based learning dalam pembelajaran biologi terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Tasikmalaya. Metode yang digunakan adalah quasi experiment dengan desain penelitian the non-equivalet control group design. Populasi pada penelitian ini yaitu seluruh peserta didik kelas XI yang mempelajari mata pelajaran biologi. Sampel yang diambil dilakukan dengan teknik purposive sampling dengan hasil kelas XI-4 sebagai kelas kontrol dan XI-10 sebagai kelas eksperimen sehingga jumlah sampel adalah sebanyak 82 orang peserta didik. Instrumen yang digunakan pada penelitian ini berupa soal tes uraian keterampilan berpikir kritis yang sudah divalidasi secara konstruk oleh ahli instrumen dan empiris oleh ahli pembelajaran sistem koordinasi serta telah dianalisis menggunakan bantuan aplikasi Anates dengan nilai validitas > 0,5 dan nilai reliabilitas sebesar 0,76 yang berada pada rentang 0,60 < r < 0,80 sehingga dapat dikategorikan instrumen ini memiliki tingkat reliabilitas yang tinggi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji hipotesis ANCOVA dengan nilai signifikansi keterampilan berpikir kritis sebesar 0,07 artinya nilai signifikansi < 0,05 sehingga dengan tingkat kepercayaan 95% dapat disimpulkan bahwa secara simultan game based learning berpengaruh terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Tasikmalaya tahun ajaran 2023/2024.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi potensi narasi ekologis Kota Tasikmalaya sebagai sumber pembelajaran sejarah kontekstual di tingkat SMA dengan pendekatan historical-ecology. Pendekatan ini menekankan keterkaitan antara dinamika sosial, lingkungan, dan waktu sebagai bagian dari konstruksi historis yang relevan dengan konteks lokal. Kajian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif berbasis studi pustaka dan analisis dokumen kurikulum, serta narasi sejarah lingkungan lokal. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa Narasi ekologis Tasikmalaya mencerminkan hubungan jangka panjang antara manusia dan lingkungan yang membentuk identitas lokal, mulai dari masa kolonial hingga era modern. Pengelolaan hutan, letusan Gunung Galunggung 1982, hingga urbanisasi pascareformasi menunjukkan dinamika adaptasi sosial-ekologis masyarakat. Potensi ini relevan untuk pembelajaran sejarah SMA karena mengaitkan isu lingkungan dengan konteks lokal dan capaian pembelajaran Kurikulum Merdeka. Melalui pendekatan historical-ecology, guru dapat mengintegrasikan kolaborasi komunitas, sumber primer digital, serta teknologi seperti Google Earth dan AR untuk pembelajaran berbasis proyek. Pendekatan ini tidak hanya memperkaya pemahaman sejarah, tetapi juga menumbuhkan kesadaran ekologis dan tanggung jawab terhadap keberlanjutan lingkungan.

Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19 mendorong dominasi WhatsApp sebagai media pembelajaran daring di SDN 1 Picungremuk, Kota Tasikmalaya, Jawa Barat. Namun, penggunaan WhatsApp oleh tenaga pengajar untuk penyampaian dan pengumpulan tugas dinilai kurang efektif dalam memaksimalkan interaksi pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan media pembelajaran terpadu berbasis media sosial (poster, video, dan podcast) melalui pendekatan lesson study untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran daring. Pengembangan media mengadopsi model Research and Development (RD) ADDIE yang terdiri dari lima tahap: analisis kebutuhan, desain konseptual, pengembangan produk, implementasi terbatas, dan evaluasi. Kelayakan media dinilai berdasarkan tiga aspek: (1) validitas melalui penilaian ahli materi dan media, (2) praktikalitas melalui umpan balik praktisi (guru), dan (3) efektivitas melalui respons siswa sebagai subjek uji coba. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media terpadu yang dikembangkan memenuhi kriteria kelayakan dengan skor validasi ahli di atas 85% (kategori "sangat layak"), tingkat kepraktisan 82% (kategori "praktis"), dan efektivitas 80% berdasarkan persentase ketuntasan belajar siswa. Integrasi multimedia berbasis sosial media melalui lesson study terbukti mampu meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa dan memfasilitasi pembelajaran yang lebih interaktif. Temuan ini merekomendasikan perlunya diversifikasi platform digital dalam pembelajaran daring untuk mengatasi keterbatasan penggunaan aplikasi tunggal seperti WhatsApp.

Abstract

Critical thinking skills are one of the essential competencies that need to be developed in the learning process, especially in biology subjects that require in-depth analysis of natural phenomena. This study aims to analyze the profile of students' critical thinking skills at SMA Negeri 4 Tasikmalaya in biology learning. The research method used is quantitative descriptive. The sample used was 181 grade X students. The critical thinking ability data in this study was measured through 12 written essay test questions. The data analysis technique used in this study was the reliability and validity of the instrument to ensure that the critical thinking skills measurement instrument used was reliable and valid. This research is very important to do as one way to analyze the profile of critical thinking skills in biology learning. The results of the study of students' critical thinking skills on the Interpretation indicator showed a percentage of 36.61% with a low category, the Analysis indicator showed a percentage of 68.08% with a high category, the Evaluation indicator showed a percentage of 58.82% with a medium category, the Inference indicator showed a percentage of 45.92% with a medium category, the Explanation indicator showed a percentage of 39.76% with a low category, and the Self-regulation indicator showed a percentage of 73.02% with a high category. Based on these data, it can be seen that the average critical thinking skills of students is 53% which can be classified as moderate critical thinking skills. The results of the study can provide a significant contribution in improving the quality of biology education at SMA Negeri 4 Tasikmalaya, by encouraging the development of students' critical thinking skills that will be useful for them in academic environments and everyday life.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of implementing the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model based on a scientific approach on students’ science process skills in the Animalia topic among Grade X MIPA students at SMA Negeri 2 Tasikmalaya during the 2022/2023 academic year. A quasi-experimental method with a matching-only posttest-only control group design was employed. The population consisted of all Grade X MIPA students (280 students across eight classes), with two classes selected purposively as samples: X MIPA 6 as the experimental group (35 students) and X MIPA 8 as the control group (34 students). Data were collected using a science process skills test consisting of 39 multiple-choice questions related to the Animalia topic. The data were analyzed using prerequisite tests (Kolmogorov–Smirnov test: p = 0.200 > 0.05; Levene’s test: p = 0.373 > 0.05) followed by hypothesis testing with an independent samples t-test (Sig. 2-tailed = 0.000 < 0.05). The results indicate that the implementation of the PjBL model based on a scientific approach has a statistically significant effect on students’ science process skills in learning the Animalia topic.
