Abstract

Kecakapan berpikir kritis dan literasi ilmiah merupakan kecakapan yang penting bagi siswa. Berpikir kritis merupakan salah satu tujuan dari pendidikan abad 21. Berpikir kritis adalah berpikir reflektif untuk memutuskan sesuatu yang harus dipercayai dan dilakukan. Siswa yang ingin berkompetensi di era masyarakat global harus cakap berpikir kritis. Literasi ilmiah merupakan tujuan baru dari pendidikan sains. Literasi ilmiah adalah kemampuan dalam mengaplikasikan ilmu yang dimiliki ke dalam kehidupan nyata. Siswa wajib menerapkan ilmu yang telah dipelajari di sekolah ke dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kecakapan berpikir kritis dan literasi ilmiah siswa kelas XI IPA 7 SMAN 1 Karanganyar Tahun Pelajaran 2015/2016 pada mata pelajaran biologi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian survei dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Data kecakapan berpikir kritis dan literasi ilmiah diperoleh melalui tes essay dan observasi. Hasil tes berpikir kritis dianalisis dengan rubrik penilaian berpikir kritis yang dikembangkan oleh Finken & Ennis (1993), sedangkan hasil tes literasi ilmiah dianalisis dengan rubrik penilaian literasi ilmiah yang dikembangkan oleh Bybee (1997). Hasil observasi kecakapan berpikir kritis dan literasi ilmiah dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil tes berpikir kritis menunjukkan bahwa komponen berpikir kritis siswa belum tampak atau masih kurang berkembang. Hasil tes literasi ilmiah menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan siswa masih berada di level nominal, fungsional, konseptual dan prosedural, namun belum sampai di level multidimensi. Berdasarkan hasil survei dapat disimpulkan bahwa kecakapan berpikir kritis dan literasi ilmiah siswa kelas XI IPA 7 SMAN 1 Karanganyar Tahun Pelajaran 2015/2016 masih perlu untuk ditingkatkan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menguji efektivitas pembelajaran berdiferensiasi melalui Lesson Study berbasis Transcript Based Lesson Analysis (TBLA) dalam implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, penelitian melibatkan 36 siswa kelas XI dan guru Biologi serta Ekonomi di SMA Negeri 1 Ciamis. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui kuesioner, observasi, rekaman TBLA, dan wawancara. Survei awal menunjukkan tantangan inklusivitas: pengelompokan berdasarkan gaya belajar membuat 47,22% siswa merasa "dibedakan". Intervensi kemudian dilakukan melalui enam siklus Plan-Do-See menggunakan desain sharing dan jumping task. Hasil analisis TBLA menunjukkan pergeseran signifikan pada dinamika kelas; dominasi pembicaraan guru turun drastis dari 68% menjadi 28%, sementara partisipasi verbal siswa meningkat dari 32% menjadi 72%. Analisis transkrip membuktikan munculnya peer scaffolding, di mana siswa secara alami saling membantu memahami konsep. Triangulasi data menegaskan bahwa diferensiasi berbasis struktur tugas berhasil menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang inklusif dan mereduksi persepsi eksklusivitas akibat pengelompokan kaku. Kesimpulannya, Lesson Study berbasis TBLA terbukti efektif dalam mengembangkan praktik pembelajaran berdiferensiasi yang reflektif, kolaboratif, dan inklusif.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the effect of implementing problem-based learning in lesson study on students' critical thinking skills, especially of the topic human respiratory system. The research method used is a true experiment with a posttest-only control design. The population in this study were students of class XI MIPA SMAN 1 Tasikmalaya which consisted of 8 classes with a total number of students was 273. The samples used in this study were 2 classes, class XI MIPA 8 an experimental class with 35 students, and class XI MIPA 7 a control class with 33 students. The sampling technique was carried out by cluster random sampling technique. Data collection techniques in the form of critical skills test a total of 15 things. The instrument is used to test critical thinking skills on the material of the human respiratory system. The data analysis technique was carried out by using a t-test. The results significance value is 0.023<0.05 can be said that there is an effect of problem-based learning models on students' critical thinking skills in the human respiratory system

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Augmented Reality (AR) learning media using Assemblr Studio on students' technological literacy in Biology. The research method used was Quasi Experimental Design with a Post-test Only with Non-equivalent Group Design. The research sample consisted of two classes: class XI 4 as the experimental class using AR media with Assemblr Studio and class XI 1 as the control class using conventional methods in the form of PowerPoint subjects at MAN 2 Kota Tasikmalaya. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. Data were collected through a posttest in the form of a technological literacy questionnaire using a Likert scale with 20 statements covering content, process, context, and attitude indicators. The hypothesis test results using the Independent Samples T-Test showed a significance value of 0.000 (<0.05), indicating a significant effect of using AR learning media with Assemblr Studio on students' technological literacy. In addition, the effect size (Cohen’s d) value of 1.14 is categorized as a high effect, demonstrating that the use of AR learning media with Assemblr Studio has a strong influence on technological literacy. This media has been proven to improve students' understanding, learning motivation, and technological literacy through a more realistic and engaging visual interactive learning experience, making it a potential alternative solution to enhance technological literacy in schools.

Abstract

The effectiveness of learning is important to know, as an indicator that learning created has brought useful results for students or educators. The purpose of this study is to describe the effectiveness of Blended-Problem Based Learning models with Lesson Study toward cognitive learning outcomes. The effectiveness of learning toward cognitive learning outcomes was obtained through cognitive tests, interview and observation guidlines, then the results analyzed by a qualitative approach. The research data shows that the average cognitive learning outcomes of students in Class X IPA 7 of SMA Negeri 1 Karanganyar in the 2015/2016 Academic Year increased by 7,27% and students also have a good response to learning. These results indicate that the Blended-Problem Based Learning model with Lesson Study effectively improves cognitive learning outcomes, with students experiencing learning activities from the best efforts of educators in creating learning.

Abstract

Stunting reduction and sanitation have been essential goals in national sustainable development. Nutrition and sanitation education is critical to prevent stunting because children’s growth requires optimal nutrition and a healthy environment. A community service activity was conducted under the health scheme supported by Universitas Siliwangi for 2022 (PbM-SK) in collaboration with the women association members in Sambongsari Village, Tasikmalaya, West Java. Eighteen organisation members who participated in the activity. They were given counselling about the causes of stunting, the impact of stunting, the fulfilment of nutrition, and the effects of sanitation. The purposes of community service activities were to understand the causal factors, the characteristics of stunting, the impact of stunting, and healthy sanitation. Public awareness to consume food containing protein, calcium, and vitamin D, which are essential nutrients. Problems in households with toddlers with chronic diseases such as tuberculosis (TB) are usually less able to distinguish the causes and treatment of diseases with stunting conditions because there are physical growth disorders. Thus, education to prevent stunting is essential so that public understanding is more optimal on the prevention and proper handling of toddlers with stunting characteristics and toddlers who experience certain diseases. The evaluation of stunting and sanitation knowledge in Sambongpari, Tasikmalaya City, showed increased public understanding of stunting and sanitation. However, it was not significant, namely the average value of 36.5 to 68.6. Stunting management strategies closely related to children’s golden period, namely specific nutrition interventions for the First 1,000 Days of Life, can determine brain growth, intelligence, height, and vulnerability to chronic disease risk.
