Abstract

Tujuan penelitian adalah kurikulum merdeka belajar di Indonesia merubah pradigma baru dalam Pendidikan sains pada pembelajaran merdeka belajar. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian studi literatur dari jurnal-jurnal yang sudah publish dari tahun 2020 s/d 2023. Hasil penelitian menjelaskan bahwa kurikulum merdeka belajar mampu merubah pradigma baru dalam pembelajaran merdeka belajar khususnya pendidikan sains. Kesimpulan kurikulum merdeka belajar menekankan pada kebebasan dalam melakukan pembelajaran dan mengeksplorasi ilmu pengetahuan (literasi) khususnya pendidikan sains dimana penggunaan teknologi pada perubahan era teknologi 4.0 menuju era society 5.0 sebagai jawaban Indonesia dalam menunjukkan kesiapan Indonesia dalam mempersiapkan sumber daya manusia guna menyonsong perubahan dan kecepatan teknologi digitalisasi dan sosial dimasyarakat global.

Abstract

Pengelolaan sampah masih kurang optimal. Sampaah non organic masih perlu dikurangi dengan cara mengolahnya menjadi barang bekas. Penyuluhan lingkungan hijau diperlukan agar lingkungan tampak asri dan sehat. Salah satu manfaat lingkungan hijau yang dipenuhi oleh tanaman adalah mampu menyerap polusi udara serta mencegah berbagai penyakit berbahaya seperti kangker.Tujuan penyuluhan ini adalah untuk memberikan pemahaman dan praktek bagaimana cara mengolah botol plastic menjadi vas bunga sehingga lingkungan sekolah tampak asri dan sehat. Kegiatan ini diikuti 30 siswa SMP Dreiwnati Bekasi. Hasil dari kegiatan ini mampu memberikan hasil daur ulang sampah botol plastic dan menciptakan lingkungan lebih hijau. Siswa mencapai rata   nilai rata rata para siswa dalam hal materi sebesar 69.9.

Abstract

The photosynthetic activity of chili (Capsicum annuum L.) leaves greatly influences sunlight radiation, the role of photosynthesis produces food that can help in plant growth and development. If a plant lacks light, it will not produce chlorophyll so it will be pale in color. Abnormalities in the photosynthesis process will also affect the formation of carbohydrate compounds in the leaves. The carbohydrate content of chili leaves plays an important role in the metabolism of chili plants. This research aims to determine the effect of solar radiation on the photosynthetic activity of chili leaves using the Sach test . This research method uses descriptive methods.  Sampling was carried out by purposive sampling and giving the chili leaves a closing and opening treatment using aluminum foil under direct sunlight. The data analysis technique used is a qualitative descriptive analysis model, where this model is included in the type of qualitative research which is described descriptively. The results of the research showed that the parts of the leaves that were exposed to sunlight produced more chlorophyll, the leaf color was darker green, and produced starch which was characterized by a blue-black or dark purple reaction when given an iodine solution. Meanwhile, the parts of the leaves that are not exposed to sunlight show less yield, the color of the leaves is paler or yellowish.Keywords:  Sollar Irradiation, Capsicum annuum, Chili Leaf, Photosynthesis

Abstract

Photosynthesis is the process of preparing organic substances H2O and CO2 into complex organic compounds that require light. Photosynthesis can only occur in plants that have chlorophyll, a pigment that functions as a catcher of sunlight energy which will later be converted into amylum. Amylum as a complex carbohydrate resulting from photosynthesis, plays an important role in various important physiological processes in the leaves. The purpose of this study was to determine the amylum content in tomato (Solanum lycopersicum) leaves. Qualitative descriptive method was carried out by referring to Sach's method by measuring the starch content of leaves using foil and betadine (Iodine) on tomato leaf samples. The results showed the presence of amylum in tomato leaves that were not covered with aluminum foil after being tested with Iodine solution. This is evidenced by the change in leaf color to blue-black on the surface of the leaves. While in tomato leaves covered with aluminum foil the color of the leaves turns pale and there are only a few blue-black spots, this indicates that leaves that are not exposed to direct sunlight and do not undergo photosynthesis normally have little amylum content in them. Keywords: Amylum, Solanum lycopersicum, Sach Test

Abstract

The tomato plant (Solanum lycopersicum) is native to the Americas, from the area around Mexico to Peru. Tomato stems, although not as hard as perennial plants, are quite strong. The color of the stem is green and is rectangular to round. The research method as well as analyzing the structure of tomato stems using descriptive methods. The research is descriptive analysis. Sampling was carried out at 16.00 WIB and only used one sample of tomato plant species and then made observations using a microscope with the help of section preparations. The data analysis technique used is a qualitative descriptive analysis model, where the model is included in the type of qualitative research described descriptively. The results showed that young tomato (Solanum lycopersicum) stems observed through a microscope with a magnification of 10x can be seen that only the epidermis, the cortex area (without being able to distinguish the tissue contained in the area), the transport tissue (without being able to know the location of xylem, phloem and other tissues) and the pith area where in this area the perenkim tissue is clearly visible.  Keywords:  Stem Anatomy, Solanum lycopersicum, Plant Tissue

Abstract

In order to prepare teachers and next generation for twenty first century can act based on their higher order thinking skills, teacher, students need have relevant  experience. In Biology instruction, it seems needed habits of higher order thinking in solving problem in processes such as inquiry based learning. Through inquiry, the students will be able to develop science and intellectual skills necessary to solve problem and find out the answer to fulfill their curiosity. A descriptive study was carried out to investigate students habits of mind after having experience in IBL in certain topics, among others were on Biodiversity topic. Habits of mind with 16 categories, meanwhile IBL with six levels of inquiry (discovery learning, interactive demonstration, inquiry lesson, inquiry lab, real world application and hypothetical inquiry). Qualitative method in this research was conducted with the use of questionnaire on Habits of mind and individual interview toward students. Research results show that students Habits of mind is in average category, the IBL can facilitate students higher order thinking experience, and most of the students agree to lengthen the implementation of the IBL for other Biology topics so as to be able to become good thinkers in near future.  Key words: analysis, student’habit, inquiry based learning

Abstract

It is important to study the basic anatomy of pollen, pistils and midribs of bougainvillea flowers to improve the quality of plant reproduction, breeding and improving varieties, as well as optimizing the use of bougainvillea as ornamental plants. Bougainvillea plants have various varieties, there are three varieties sampled in this research, namely pink paper flowers (Bougainvillea bambino baby lauren), orange paper flowers (Bougainvillea afterglow), and purple paper flowers (Bougainvillea barbara karst). This research aims to determine the anatomical structure of pollen, stigma and midrib of bougainvillea plants.  This research method uses descriptive methods. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling and sample measurement under a light microscope with 10x magnification. The results of the research show that three varieties of paper flowers, namely Bougainvillea bambino baby lauren, Bougainvillea afterglow, and Bougainvillea barbara karst, all three have pollen that allows the trichoporate type, with finger-shaped, rather slender, and elongated stigmas. then the long petals are orange, pointed or slightly curved, and layered around the original flower. Furthermore, the stigma of each flower has a color that matches the color of the sheath. This research provides a reference for bougainvillea flower variability, reproductive ecology, and genetics in context and conservation.

Abstract

The abundance of waste is a serious problem in Indonesia, especially in Islamic boarding school environments. Waste management in general has been carried out. Still, it has not been actively promoted, and there is a lack of knowledge about minimizing the negative impact of waste in the Islamic boarding school environment even though they have previously received counseling about environmental literacy. This research aims to analyze the level of ecological literacy in waste management. The research method uses a qualitative descriptive method. The test instrument uses essay questions, and the non-test uses observations and interviews with teachers and school principals. The population of this study was all class X enrolled at one of the Islamic boarding schools. The sample was determined using a purposive sampling technique. The research sample consisted of 30 students in the even semester of 2023/2024. The research results show that waste management environmental literacy skills are in the "medium" category with a score of 143. These results show that among attitudes, behavior, knowledge, and cognitive skills. Knowledge is usually what students understand more quickly. This learning process can simultaneously help improve positive environmental behavior and students' emotional intelligence.

Abstract

Keterampilan meta learning adalah kemampuan penting abad ke-21 yang membantu siswa merencanakan, memantau, dan mengevaluasi proses belajarnya secara mandiri. Pembelajaran di SMK Otomotif, penerapan meta learning jarang difokuskan pada topik IPA, khususnya botani dan karakteristik jurusan SMK otomotif lebih dituntut lebih menguasai keterampilan hard skills dan kurang dalam  penguatan soft skills, padahal kompetensi ini dapat memperkaya literasi ekologis siswa. Tujuan kegiatan abdimas ini adalah memberdayakan keterampilan meta learning siswa SMK Otomotif melalui kegiatan eksplorasi dan klasifikasi tumbuhan berdasarkan familia menggunakan aplikasi Pl@ntNet. Kegiatan ini menggunakan metode pelatihan berbasis proyek (project-based training) dengan pendekatan participatory learning yang melibatkan siswa kelas X di SMK Otomotif di Jakarta. Tahapan pelatihan meliputi persiapan (preparation stage), pelatihan (training stage), eksplorasi lapangan (field exploration), klasifikasi dan analisis (classification & analysis), presentasi hasil (presentation & reflection). Hasil pelatihan memberdayakan keterampilan meta learning menunjukkn bahwa siswa berhasil mengidentifikasi 7 spesies tumbuhan dari berbagai familia di lingkungan sekolah SMK dan mampu mendeskripsikan ciri morfologi. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan Peningkatan kesadaran gaya belajar meta learning. Siswa lebih mampu mengenali cara belajar yang efektif bagi dirinya melalui kemampuan menganalisis dan mengobservasi tumbuhan. Kegiatan ini direkomendasikan untuk diintegrasikan dalam pembelajaran lintas mata pelajaran guna meningkatkan literasi sains dan keterampilan abad 21 siswa SMK
