Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui 1) implementasi kegiatan program education and experience (Eduperience) di Sekolah Alam Le Cendekia; 2) peningkatan kepekaan sosial melalui program education and experience (Eduperience) pada peserta didik Sekolah Alam Le Cendekia; (3) untuk mengetahui faktor pendukung dan penghambat program education and experience (Eduperience) dalam peningkatan kepekaan sosial peserta didik pada Sekolah Alam Le Cendekia. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif jenis studi kasus. Informan dalam penelitian ini adalah Kepala Sekolah, Pendidik dan Peserta didik di Sekolah Alam Le Candekia. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik wawancara observasi, dokumentasi. Analisis data secara sistimatis dilakukan dengan tiga langkah yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Implementasi program eduperience mencakup tiga tahap, yaitu perencanaan melalui observasi dan asesmen kebutuhan, pelaksanaan dengan menempatkan peserta didik tinggal bersama masyarakat selama tiga hari, serta evaluasi melalui kegiatan refleksi. 2) peningkatan kepekaan sosial peserta didik melalui dua strategi, yaitu pembiasaan sosial seperti memberi salam, menghargai pendapat, dan pengalaman langsung di masyarakat yang menumbuhkan empati, kepedulian, dan kesadaran sosial. 3) faktor pendukung peningkatan kepekaan sosial melalui program eduperence yaitu adanya dukungan pihak terkait, seperti kepala sekolah, pemerintah desa, guru pendamping, panitia serta motivasi peserta didik. Adapun yang termasuk faktor pengambat yaitu sulitnya beradaptasi peserta didik dan keterbatasan waktu pelaksanaan program

Abstract

This study aims to understand the challenges faced by families in instilling character and supporting the development of 21st-century skills among youth. Using a descriptive quantitative approach, respondents were parents with children enrolled in secondary schools or equivalent in Maros Regency, South Sulawesi. The findings indicate that families have not yet fully optimized their role as primary supporters in building a young generation ready to face global challenges. Difficulties in supporting digital skills, a lack of role models at home, and negative influences from external factors such as social media are key issues. Families struggle to provide opportunities for relevant skill training, leading to low readiness among youth to compete in the era of globalization. This study underscores the importance of improving family literacy in character education and 21st-century skills. Practical training-based interventions for families and policies that enhance access to training, along with strengthened synergy between families, schools, and communities, are identified as strategic solutions.
