Abstract

Classroom management is a picture carried out by the person in charge of teaching and learning activities who share with the aim of achieving idealistic conditions so that good and correct teaching and learning activities are carried out. This research method uses qualitative methods with in-depth interview methods. The results of the study showed that the combined classroom management approach, namely the teaching approach and the socio-emotional approach, has been effective in classroom management in PAI class 7 SMPN 1 Cikarang Utara. Judging from the arrangement of the classroom, anticipating class conditions, setting rules in the classroom, the teacher ensures that students remain focused, serious but relaxed, enthusiastic in learning activities. And the obstacles faced are the activeness of students when in class, the diverse understanding of students in receiving the material presented and students in collecting assignments given by the teacher. Then the solution to these obstacles is that the teacher must know each student's understanding ability in receiving material, always evaluate student learning outcomes, give assignments by adjusting students' understanding abilities, the teacher must be more interactive in class so that students can also be active in class, but those obstacles it must be enjoyed and we accept it with an open heart and we as teachers must know how to overcome these problems.

Abstract

The Qiroati method is a method of learning to read the Koran which directly practices tart reading in accordance with the qoidah of practical recitation. One of the obstacles in the process of learning to read the Koran in general is that the teacher does not use the method, only reads normally. Therefore there are still some students who are not fluent in reading the Koran because they feel the method used is less effective, unstructured and seems monotonous and makes students feel bored in the process of learning to read and write the Koran. This research is intended to find out how the application of the Qiroati method through BTQ learning improves the ability to read the Koran in students at SDIT Al Madinah Karawang. This type of research is field research. In this study, the researcher will describe the application of the Qiroati method through BTQ learning in improving the ability to read the Koran. While the nature of the research is descriptive in nature. Data collection techniques used are interviews, tests and documentation. For data analysis techniques used are data collection, presentation and conclusion. The results of research conducted by researchers can be concluded that the Qiroati method can improve students' Al-Quran reading skills with evidence that students get good grades when reading the Al-Quran test. The implementation of the Qiroati method is by the way the teacher exemplifies correct reading which then students read together. So that with the Qiroati method students can find out how to read correctly.

Abstract

This study will describe the process and results of learning the Qur'an through the tahsin method at Mts Al-I’anah Kosambi Karawang. through the tahsin method. While the learning outcomes of the Qur'an in question are describing the abilities of students before and after participating in learning the Qur'an through the tahsin method. This study aims to describe the process and results of learning the Qur'an through the tahsin method at the student Mts Al-I’anah Kosambi Karawang. This study uses a qualitative research approach with the research subjects are teachers and students who follow the learning of the Qur'an through the tahsin method. The data obtained came from the data extracted by the researcher through observation, interview and documentation techniques. While the data analysis uses the analytical model of Miles and Huberman, including data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the learning activities of the Qur'an through the tahsin method get a good response from the students. This has a positive impact on the development of students' ability to read the Qur'an from not fluent to fluent. The data is evidenced from the results of student tests before taking part in learning the Qur'an through the tahsin method, and data on the results of student tests after taking part in learning the Qur'an through the tahsin method within a period of one semester.

Abstract

Studi ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pemahaman dan implementasi keterampilan pengelolaan kelas oleh guru PAI, mengidentifikasi kendala yang dihadapi, menganalisis faktor pendukung dan penghambat, serta mengkaji dampak dan evaluasi pengelolaan kelas dalam menciptakan pembelajaran yang kondusif di kelas XI SMAN 1 Telukjambe Karawang. studi ini menggunakan metodologi kualitatif deskriptif. Metode pengumpulan data meliputi wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Partisipan terdiri dari guru PAI dan siswa kelas XI. Analisis data menggunakan model interaktif Miles dan Huberman yang meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru PAI memiliki pemahaman yang baik tentang pengelolaan kelas dan mampu mengimplementasikannya melalui strategi yang variatif dan adaptif, seperti pembelajaran diferensiasi, penggunaan metode ceramah, praktik, CTL, dan PBL, serta pemanfaatan media pendidikan berbasis teknologi. Kendala yang dihadapi meliputi karakteristik siswa yang beragam, rendahnya kedisiplinan, dan pengaruh lingkungan sosial. Dalam mengatasi kendala tersebut, guru menerapkan berbagai upaya seperti pemberian reward dan punishment yang mendidik, bimbingan, serta kerja sama dengan lembaga pendidikan dan wali murid. Pengelolaan kelas yang efektif berpengaruh positif terhadap hasil belajar siswa di berbagai ranah afektif, kognitif, dan psikomotor. Dengan demikian, keterampilan pengelolaan kelas oleh guru PAI berkontribusi signifikan dalam menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang kondusif dan efektif.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of a talaqqi-based Tahfidz (Quran memorization) level-grouping strategy in addressing students' difficulties in memorizing the Quran. The study employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The results indicate that the talaqqi-based Tahfidz level-grouping strategy is implemented by grouping students according to their memorization abilities and the quality of their Quranic recitation. The talaqqi method is applied through the teacher reciting verses—which the students then repeat—and the direct recitation of memorized passages for verification. This strategy helps students improve their recitation, enhance memorization fluency, and build self-confidence. In conclusion, the talaqqi-based Tahfidz level-grouping strategy is considered effective in overcoming the Quran memorization difficulties faced by eighth-grade students at SMPIT Insan Harapan Karawang.   Keywords: Memorization Difficulties, Level Grouping, Learning Strategy, Quran Memorization (Tahfidz), Talaqqi

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of the As-Sifātul Maẓmūmah book in shaping the character of students at the Al-Mushlih Islamic Boarding School in Karawang. The background of this study is based on the importance of strengthening character education amidst the phenomenon of moral decline among the younger generation, including within Islamic boarding schools. The As-Sifātul Maẓmūmah book , as a classic moral text, focuses on ... about despicable traits to avoid, making it highly relevant to character building. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation, involving teachers and students as research subjects. Data analysis uses an interactive model consisting of data reduction, data appearance, and conclusion drawing, with validity confirmed through triangulation of sources and techniques. The results of the study indicate that the book As-Sifātul Maẓ Mūmah plays an important role as a source of moral values in shaping students' character. The learning process increases students' understanding of negative traits such as arrogance, envy, and showing off, while fostering introspective awareness (muhasabah). Furthermore, the values contained in the book are internalized through habituation and role models in the Islamic boarding school environment, leading to positive behavioral changes among students. This book also functions as an effective medium for comprehensive character formation, covering cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects. In conclusion, the study of As-Sifātul Maẓmūmah has proven effective in strengthening students' character education. The uniqueness of this study lies in its focus on a relatively under-researched text and its emphasis on character development through the avoidance of negative traits as an integral part of moral education in Islamic boarding schools.

Abstract

This article is motivated by the still low level of time management skills among elementary school students, as reflected in habits such as procrastinating on assignments and lacking consistency in learning. Previous studies have examined the role of tahfidz activities in character building; however, most of them have focused primarily on discipline and spirituality, without specifically exploring their relationship with time management skills as part of self-regulation. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the role of Qur’an memorization extracurricular activities in developing students’ time management abilities. This research employs a literature review method by analyzing relevant scientific journal articles published between 2015 and 2025. The findings indicate that tahfidz activities make a significant contribution to the development of time management through the cultivation of discipline, the strengthening of self-regulated learning, and structured activities such as memorization submission and muraja’ah (revision). These findings suggest that tahfidz serves not only as a religious activity but also as a medium for developing life skills, particularly in time management.
