Abstract

The program aims to increase the insight and skills in the field of information and communication technology for tutors of the SPNF SKB Boto Equivalence Program, West Sumbawa Regency. This is expected to improve the quality of teaching and learning through the convenience of students in understanding the teaching material provided. The method of this training activity is carried out by the lecture method and independent practice in three stages, namely: delivery of basic material, training and practice demonstrations and evaluation. The result of this training video learning is increasing the understanding and insight of the participants in making learning videos and to be able to practice making simple learning videos so that they can support online learning in the SPNF SKB Boto environment, West Sumbawa Regency.

Abstract

The goal of this research is to assess the level of hazard in the activity of grinding soybean raw materials and redesigning the work facilities ergonomically with ergonomic function deployment (EFD) in order to workers can work effectively, comfortably, safely, healthy and efficiently (ECSHE), so that the productivity of worker can increase. This research begins by conducting a task analysis on the work activities experienced by workers, conducting an ergonomic risk assessment based on the BRIEF Survey and obtaining the ergonomic redesign that ensures the product produced can truly meet the needs of workers ergonomically, by using ergonomic function deployment (EFD). The results of this reseach indicate that workers have a high level of risk caused by uncomfortable working attitudes, back, neck and arm pain, and too heavy a load. The next result is a redesign of Worker's work facilities ergonomically bu using ergonomic function deployment (EFD) with the sturdy design construction and standard materials, and design sizes based on worker dimensions, so that the worker's body posture is in a natural or normal position to provide worker comfort when carrying out activities work which includes: redesigning work facilities for milling machine & auxiliary desk, redesigning work facilities for trolleys, and redesigning work facilities for reservoirs.

Abstract

Water is a very important basic need for human life. The fulfillment of water needs in Beru Village is highly dependent on groundwater, which is extracted by digging wells. Due to the community’s dependence on the availability of well water, it is very important to monitor and assess groundwater quality in Beru Village. The lack of related research makes this research very important to do. The purpose of this study is to analyze groundwater quality in Beru Village, Jereweh District, West Sumbawa Regency. Water quality test parameters use the parameters include pH, temperature, conductivity, TDS, and DO. The average values of each parameter sequentially are 7.07; 30.18OC; 752.71 µS/cm; 377.91 mg/L; and 4.83 mg/L. On average, the quality of groundwater is classified as good and meets the required quality standards. Based on pollution index calculation, water quality based on parameters pH (PIj=0.92) and TDS (PIj=0.497) is classified as good, while water quality based on parameters temperature (PIj=1.079) and DO (PIj=1.162) is categorized as slightly polluted but relatively safe to use for sanitary hygiene needs.

Abstract

Palm sugar is a local food commodity with the potential to support food security and boost the local economy in West Sumbawa Regency. However, the production process and supply chain still face various challenges, such as waste, low efficiency, inconsistent product quality, and risks that affect the smooth flow of production and distribution. This study aims to analyze waste using the Lean Manufacturing approach, analyze supply chain risks through risk management, and formulate a strategy to integrate these two approaches to improve production efficiency. The study employs a descriptive method with a case study approach through observation, interviews, documentation, and literature review. Analysis was conducted using Value Stream Mapping, identification of the Seven Wastes, Fishbone Diagrams, and a Risk Matrix. The results show that value-added activities account for only 28.11%, while non-value-added activities account for 71.89%, with “waiting” being the dominant form of waste. The integration of Lean Manufacturing and risk management yields improvement strategies capable of reducing waste, lowering risk, increasing production efficiency, strengthening the supply chain, and supporting local food security.

Abstract

The coastal area of Labuan Hamlet, Labuhan Kertasari Village, West Sumbawa Regency, is experiencing groundwater resource limitations due to seawater intrusion. This study aims to characterize the subsurface conditions and identify zones potentially affected by seawater intrusion using the two-dimensional electrical resistivity method with a Wenner–Schlumberger configuration. Measurements were conducted using 31 electrodes with an electrode spacing of 6 m and a total survey length of 180 m. The resistivity data were inverted using Res2DInvx64 software to obtain the subsurface resistivity distribution. The interpretation results indicate that the subsurface down to a depth of approximately 29.9 m is predominantly composed of clayey sand. Zones with resistivity values of <10 Ωm are interpreted as zones with relatively high electrical conductivity, which are inferred to be associated with groundwater of relatively high salinity and potentially influenced by seawater intrusion. These zones occur from the beginning of the survey line and exhibit lateral variations in depth and thickness. In contrast, zones with resistivity values of >10 Ωm potentially indicate groundwater conditions with relatively lower salinity. The results demonstrate that the electrical resistivity method can be used to map the distribution of zones potentially affected by seawater intrusion in coastal areas.
