Abstract

Learning for Children with Special Needs is a learning that is carried out by involving strategies, methods/techniques, evaluations and various learning media which have been varied according to the needs of students. The focus of this research is children with learning difficulties. The child in this case is a child who in carrying out ordinary activities is not as capable as children his age. Based on this, knowledge about children with learning disabilities is very important for educators, so that mishandling does not occur to them, either because of their inability to read, write, or count. The research method used is descriptive-qualitative method, with the research subjects are 9 students and 1 teacher of class V SDLBN Pelambuan West Banjarmasin. The object of research is the learning process of special needs children in that class. Data from observations, interviews, and documentation were analyzed to describe the results in the form of a conclusion. The results of this study indicate that in the fifth grade of the SDLBN, the learning objectives to be achieved for children with learning disabilities are not yet clear. This is because the existing learning does not specifically use planning or lesson plans for special needs children. The implementation of the learning carried out is quite supportive by involving the collaboration of strategies, methods, and various other educational media. Furthermore, the evaluation of learning used were in the form of multiple choice tests, and non-verbal and practical tests. This evaluation process has been quite well done by the teacher, and can help children practice the materials provided. Keywords: learning, children with special needs, learning disorders

Abstract

The manual dexterity necessary for writing is not fully developed in young children, leading to difficulties in expressing themselves through writing and mishandling a pencil. In addition, children's worksheets at school were inadequate, and the materials provided for writing exercises were limited, with a focus on coloring and letter recognition. Researchers use the development model or Research and Development method in their investigations. This model aims to create a product and test its effectiveness through expert evaluation and student responses. The worksheet media produced with a focus on animals can be well received by students with an assessment of 90% in the "Very Eligible" category. "Thus, animal-themed LKA media is suitable for teaching and learning activities at the Armuna Islamic PAUD Palangka Raya.

Abstract

This research is motivated by efforts to develop children's artistic creativity through dance extracurriculars. Dance extracurricular is one of the extracurricular activities that is actively implemented in schools, as a forum for developing artistic creativity in early childhood. Based on this, this research was conducted to describe how extracurricular dance is used as a means of developing artistic creativity in early childhood at RA Mawaddah, Palangka Raya City. In this research, a qualitative descriptive method was used, with the research subjects consisting of a class teacher and B3 group students at the school. Data was collected through observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the research show that the development of artistic creativity in early childhood at RA Mawaddah, Palangka Raya City is carried out through extracurricular dance which includes three types of dance: Ampar Ampar Pisang, Sinanggar Tullo, and Kreasi Modern dance. Through dance extracurricular activities that have been implemented at schools, it is hoped that artistic creativity can be developed, especially for young children, and that extracurricular activities that have been implemented will later be able to help other parties besides children, one of which is teachers and schools. Therefore, we hope that the existence of extracurricular dance as a development of artistic creativity at RA will be very beneficial for the development of early childhood.   ABSTRAK  Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh upaya dalam mengembangkan kreativitas seni anak melalui ekstrakurikuler tari. Ekstrakurikuler tari merupakan salah satu ekstrakurikuler yang bergerak aktif dilaksanakan di sekolah, guna sebagai wadah pengembangan kreativitas seni anak usia dini. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menggambarkan bagaimana ekstrakurikuler tari digunakan sebagai sarana pengembangan kreativitas seni pada anak usia dini di RA Mawaddah Kota Palangka Raya. Dalam penelitian ini, metode deskriptif kualitatif digunakan, dengan subjek penelitian terdiri dari seorang guru kelas dan peserta didik kelompok B3 di sekolah tersebut. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan kreativitas seni anak usia dini di RA Mawaddah Kota Palangka Raya dilakukan melalui ekstrakurikuler tari yang mencakup tiga jenis tarian: Ampar Ampar Pisang, Sinanggar Tullo, dan tari Kreasi Modern. Melalui ekstrakurikuler tari yang telah dilaksanakan di sekolah, diharapkan nakan dapat mengembangkan kreativitas seni terutama bagi anak usia dini, serta dari ekstrakurikuler yang telah dilaksanakan nantinya dapat membantu pihak lain selain anak, salah satunya pihak guru serta sekolah. Oleh karena itu, semoga dengan adanya ekstrakurikuler tari sebagai pengembangan kreativitas seni yang ada di RA akan sangat bermanfaat bagi perkembangan anak usia dini.

Abstract

Pengabdian masyarakat ini dilatarbelakangi oleh minimnya pengetahuan guru tentang radikalisme dan cara pencegahannya, terutama pada anak usia dini. Oleh karena itu, perlu adanya sosialisasi mengenai radikalisme pada anak usia dini dan cara pencegahannya. Tujuan dari sosialisasi ini adalah untuk memberikan pemahaman, pengetahuan kepada guru tentang pencegahan radikalisme pada anak usia dini. Adapun sasaran dari sosialisasi ini adalah guru-guru di RA Darussa’adah Palangka Raya. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilaksanakan pada tanggal 25 November 2023 pada pukul 09.00 WIB sampai Selesai. Pada pelaksanaan kegiatan sosialisasi tersebut menunjukan bahwa semua peserta sangat antusias dalam mendengarkan pemaparan materi yang disampaikan dan aktif bertanya serta berdiskusi tentang radikalisme pada anak usia dini. Adapun peserta yang mengikuti kegiatan pengabdian ini terdiri dari 10 orang guru, 13 orang mahasiswa dan 4 orang dosen. Adapun hasil dari pengabdian dosen dan mahasiswa tentang sosialisasi pencegahan radikalisme pada anak usia dini di RA Darussa’adah Palangka Raya ialah guru dan mahasiswa yang berhadir dapat memahami tentang akibat, dampak atau bahaya dari radikalisme, serta mengetahui cara pencegahannya. Sehingga guru akan melakukan upaya penegahan radikalisme pada anak dengan cara membatasi penggunaan media sosial yang berlebihan, mengontrol tontonan anak-anak, dan pergaulan anak-anak.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengintegrasikan gizi seimbang dalam kegiatan cooking class pada pembelajaran anak usia dini yaitu membuat nasi kepal isi abon di PAUD IT Al-Ghazali Modern School Palangka Raya. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini adalah service learning, yang mengedepankan penerapan pengetahuan dalam situasi nyata dan interaktif. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa anak-anak sangat antusias dan aktif selama kegiatan berlangsung. Mereka berhasil memahami proses padi sebagai bahan dasar nasi dan manfaat gizi dari nasi serta abon. Selain itu, anak-anak juga mengembangkan keterampilan motorik halus dan kognitif melalui kegiatan membentuk nasi kepal. Kegiatan ini terbukti efektif dalam memperkenalkan konsep gizi sehat dengan cara yang menyenangkan dan interaktif.

Abstract

Education provided in early childhood at the kindergarten / RA education level is not only fixated on providing material directly and not only always in the classroom, but education can also be done outside the classroom which is designed to provide education through physical activity in a recreational setting, these activities are often known as outbound. The purpose of carrying out Kahanjak Atei outbound kids activities is to provide a fun learning atmosphere, train focus, courage, and further improve social-emotional development and teamwork between students with one another. This research uses the ITGbM method in its implementation using lecture, discussion and practice methods. The implementation of the outbound kids kahanjak atei game was carried out to 25 students of TK Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal 1 Palangka Raya. There are 5 outbound kids kahanjak atei games in its application, namely: 1) Move the ball according to color, 2) Blow ping pong balls, 3) Paper clip relay, 4) Crown relay, 5) Blow glasses.

Abstract

Character education in early childhood plays a crucial role in forming a personality with noble and responsible morals since the early development period. Early age is a golden period where moral and ethical values can be instilled effectively through an approach that is appropriate to the stages of child development. This study aims to examine effective methods in teaching character to early childhood. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with a library research approach. Data were obtained through literature studies from books, journals, and relevant research reports. The analysis technique used is content analysis, which includes data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that the exemplary, habituation, and storytelling methods are effective learning strategies in instilling character values in children. Exemplary provides concrete examples of positive behavior, habituation trains children in good habits consistently, and storytelling instills moral values through fun media. With the application of the right method, character education can take place optimally and naturally in early childhood.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the Center for Faith and Piety (IMTAQ) learning via Smart TV. The Center for Faith and Piety (IMTAQ) learning model is a learning model in schools by implementing Smart TV in the teaching and learning process for children. On this basis, this research aims to describe the learning of the Center for Faith and Piety (IMTAQ) via Smart TV. The research method used is descriptive qualitative research. The research subjects were one homeroom teacher and one student in the RA Perwanida Kasongan Center for Faith and Taqwa (IMTAQ) class, Central Kalimantan. Data collection methods include observation, interviews and documentation. At the end of the research carried out, the results were obtained that in an effort to implement the Center for Faith and Piety (IMTAQ) learning at RA Perwanida Kasongan via Smart TV with the theme of Islamic learning, the universe and language, it can help children in the learning process, it will involve children more enthusiastically and happily in participating. learning. Apart from that, it also makes it easier for children because they use Smart TV by utilizing digital technology and makes it easier for teachers to provide learning material when conveying it to children.

Abstract

Pendidikan merupakan upaya dalam meningkatkan sumber daya manusia yang berkualitas. Pendidikan yang dapat mendukung dan membantu dalam mengembangkan semua potensi dalam dirinya, untuk itu maka perlu adanya dukungan  baik dari segi bangunan maupun lingkungan untuk memberikan rasa aman, nyaman dan keindahan pada anak. Tujuan perencanaan dan perancangan desain eksterior anak usia dini adalah, investasi dalam perkembangan anak-anak. Metode yang digunakan Service Learning bertujuan untuk memahami makna dari sebuah desain yang telah dilakukan dalam konteks nyata, dengan adanya metode service learning ini akan terjadi hubungan timbal balik antara mahasiswa dan masyarakat , dengan cara survei, wawancara pada pihak sekolah dan observasi melihat langsung keadaan lokasi sekolah  serta untuk mendata perbandingan tata desain eksterior sebelum dan sesudah di desain.
