Abstract

This study aims to determine students' experiences with comprehensive reading strategies using Wattpad. This study uses a qualitative descriptive research method. Data are collected using interviews, observation, documentation, and questionnaires. The analysis of this research uses a triangulation technique which consists of steps; data reduction, data display, and ultimately conclusion to analyze the data. The results of this study indicate that extensive reading through Wattpad can be used for pleasure, extensive reading through the Wattpad platform can reduce stress, extensive reading through Wattpad can increase motivation, and extensive reading through Wattpad can increase vocabulary. All of these activities can have a positive impact on students. Plus, Wattpad's platform is great for in-depth reading. Therefore, one of the best ways to learn English is to read extensively on the Wattpad platform. Teachers should realize that because Wattpad is a practical reading tool that can be accessed anywhere and at any time, all the stories students read must be age-appropriate.

Abstract

Kesenjangan sosial menjadi salah satu permasalahan di Indonesia , kesenjangan sosial adalah ketidak seimbangan sosial yang menyebabkan perbedaan yang signifikan dalam ekonomi. Kesenjangan sosial terjadi Ketika ada ketidaksetaraan dalam berbagai aspek kehidupan bermasyarakat, itu disebut kesenjangan sosial. Kesenjangan sosial adalah salah satu masalah serius yang terjadi di Indonesia dan memerlukan upaya pemerintah untuk mengatasinya Kemiskinan merupakan masalah sosial yang berdampak negatif terhadap kualitas hidup masyarakat dan masyarakat luas. Mungkin sulit untuk memenuhi kebutuhan dasar seperti makanan, tempat tinggal, perawatan kesehatan, dan pendidikan ketika seseorang miskin. Sempitnya lapangan perkerjaan di Indonesia juga menjadi salah satu faktor naiknya kemiskinan di Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membahas kesenjangan sosial di Indonesia dan dampaknya, penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan studi literatur untuk mengumpulkan data. Untuk membahas tentang kesenjangan sosial yang terjadi di Indonesia ,yang menyebabkan naiknya angka kemiskinan di Indonesia saat ini. Masalah ini telah menjadi topik penting dalam pertimbangan kebijakan ekonomi di banyak negara. Ini biasanya disebabkan oleh kebijakan pembangunan yang telah ditetapkan untuk mengontrol pertumbuhan ekonomi suatu negara. justru memperparah keadaan kesenjangan sosial ekonomi di negara tersebut.

Abstract

This study seeks to evaluate the efficacy of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) paradigm in enhancing student learning outcomes via a systematic literature review method.  Data was gathered from five research publications published between 2019 and 2024, which explicitly addressed the implementation of CTL models across various levels and subjects.  The analytical results indicate that the implementation of CTL significantly enhances student learning outcomes across cognitive, emotional, and psychomotor domains.  Moreover, CTL has been demonstrated to enhance student engagement and desire for learning, while also fostering the development of critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.  This technique entails connecting subject matter to real-life contexts, utilizing instructional resources, and fostering an interactive and collaborative learning environment.  Nonetheless, the efficacy of CTL implementation is significantly affected by the teacher's preparedness in developing and implementing contextual learning.  consequence, CTL can be used as an alternative strategy in learning that not only focuses on academic outcomes, but also on strengthening character and competence.

Abstract

The development of information and communication technology has encouraged innovation in education, including the emergence of hybrid learning models that combine online and offline learning. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of hybrid learning model in improving learning quality through literature review method. The study was conducted by reviewing scientific articles from national journals over the past ten years, obtained through a search on Google Scholar. The results show that hybrid learning has a positive impact in improving learning motivation, learning outcomes, and critical thinking skills of students. This model also supports independent learning, flexibility of time and place, and active involvement of learners. The implementation of hybrid learning is in line with several learning theories such as Constructivism Theory, Social Learning Theory, and Connectivism Theory. However, the effectiveness of this model implementation is highly influenced by the readiness of technological infrastructure, digital competencies of teachers and students, and policy support from educational institutions. The findings are expected to be a reference for educators and policy makers in designing responsive and sustainable learning strategies in the digital era.

Abstract

This study analyzes the effectiveness of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model in enhancing students' critical thinking skills and learning outcomes. Using a literature review approach. The analysis shows that PBL consistently improves students’ critical thinking, active learning, and collaborative skills. It also highlights that PBL increases conceptual understanding in science and enhances situational analysis and argumentation skills in social studies. However, the study identifies challenges in implementing PBL, including difficulties in designing authentic problems and managing instructional time. Effective teacher training, especially in scaffolding techniques and problem design, emerges as a key factor in optimizing PBL implementation. Additionally, the integration of digital resources and supportive learning environments significantly contributes to the success of PBL. Therefore, developing teachers' professional competencies and providing adequate infrastructure are crucial strategies to maximize the potential of PBL in fostering 21st-century skills.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the application of participatory learning methods in improving learning completeness. The background of this research is that the method used is still using conventional learning methods. Where students are not fully involved in the learning process, so that the learning process is only fixated on one source and learning becomes one-way. Students cannot develop their potential, because they are not given the opportunity to be active during the learning process. This study aims to analyze the implementation process and the results of the development of participatory learning methods. This study uses a qualitative approach. The research location is PKBM Bintang Tunas Mulia, Tanah Sareal District, Bogor City. Data collection was carried out using interviews, observation, and documentation. The research subjects consisted of administrators, tutors, and Package C pursuit students. The validity of the data used triangulation of sources, methods and theories. Data analysis techniques use data collection, reduction, display, and verification. The findings from this study are in the initial activities, namely fostering familiarity, identifying needs and obstacles, preparing learning programs. In the learning process using participatory learning techniques, and participatory learning strategies / methods. The implementation of participatory learning methods is structured into opening, core and closing activities in the teaching and learning process. The stage used is in accordance with the theory of the implementation stage of the participatory learning method. The learning outcomes were in the form of increased learning completeness in PKBM Bintang Tunas Mulia Package C students.
