Abstract

Muhammad Yuniyanto, 2023. The effect of compensation and HR competence on employee performance with work motivation as an intervening variable (study at the Public Works and Spatial Planning Office of Sumenep Regency). Wijaya Putra University Postgraduate Program in Surabaya. This type of research is explanatory research, the approach used is a quantitative approach, the research sample is 52 people. The analysis tool uses Smart PLS (Partial Least Square). Research objectives: 1) To find out the description of compensation, HR competence, work motivation and employee performance at the Public Works and Spatial Planning Office of Sumenep Regency. 2) To test and analyze whether compensation has a significant effect on employee performance at the Public Works and Spatial Planning Office of Sumenep Regency. 3) To test and analyze whether HR competence has a significant effect on employee performance at the Public Works and Spatial Planning Office of Sumenep Regency. 4) To test and analyze whether compensation has a significant effect on employee motivation at the Public Works and Spatial Planning Office of Sumenep Regency. 5) To test and analyze whether HR competence has a significant effect on employee motivation at the Public Works and Spatial Planning Office of Sumenep Regency. 6) To test and analyze whether work motivation has a significant influence on employee performance at the Public Works and Spatial Planning Office of Sumenep Regency. 7) To test and analyze whether compensation has a positive and significant indirect effect on the performance of employees of the Public Works and Spatial Planning Office of Sumenep Regency with work motivation as the intervening variable. 8) To test and analyze whether HR competence has a positive and significant indirect effect on the performance of employees of the Public Works and Spatial Planning Office of Sumenep Regency with work motivation as an intervening variable. The results showed that: 1) Compensation on employee performance has a positive and significant effect as evidenced by the value of the Original Sample which is equal to 0.283. 2) HR competence has a positive and significant effect on employee performance as evidenced by the value of the Original Sample which is equal to 0.448. 3) Compensation for work motivation has a positive and significant effect as evidenced by the value of the Original Sample that is equal to 0.385. 4) HR competence has a positive and significant effect on work motivation as evidenced by the value of the Original Sample which is equal to 0.458. 5) Work motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance as evidenced by the value of the Original Sample that is equal to 0.303. 6) Compensation for employee performance mediated by work motivation has a positive and significant effect as evidenced by the value of the Original Sample that is equal to 0.116. 7) HR competence on employee performance mediated by work motivation has a significant positive effect as evidenced by the value of the Original Sample that is equal to 0.139.

Abstract

The results showed that: 1) Work discipline has a significant positive effect on teacher performance with an original sample value of 0.260 and a p-value of 0.009. 2) Work discipline has a significant positive effect on motivation with an original sample value of 0.410 and a p-value of 0.024. 3) Competence has a significant positive effect on motivation with an original sample value of 0.470 and a p-value of 0.004. 4) Competence has a negative and insignificant effect on teacher performance with an original sample value of 0.825 and a p-value of -0.042. 5) Motivation has a significant positive effect on teacher performance with an original sample value of 0.611 and a p-value of 0.002. 6) Work discipline has a positive and insignificant effect on teacher performance mediated by motivation with an original sample value of 0.251 and a p-value of 0.107. 7) Competence has a significant positive effect on teacher performance mediated by motivation with an original sample value of 0.287 and a p-value of 0.034.

Choirul Anam, 2023. The Influence of Teacher Competence and Training on Teacher Performance at the State Islamic Senior High School (MAN) of Sampang with Work Discipline as an Intervening Variable. Postgraduate Program at Wijaya Putra University, Surabaya. The results showed that: 1) Teacher competence has a significant positive effect on teacher performance. 2) Teacher competence has a significant positive effect on work discipline. 3) Training has a significant positive effect on work discipline. 4) Training has a significant positive effect on teacher performance. 5) Work discipline has a significant positive effect on teacher performance. 6) Teacher competence has a significant positive effect on teacher performance with work discipline as an intervening variable. 7) Training has a significant positive effect on teacher performance with work discipline as an intervening variable.

The Effect Of Work Ability And Work Discipline On The Performance Of Employees In Gan The Influence of Work Motivation and Discipline on Teacher Performance Mediated by Work Ability (Studies at SMPI Miftahul Ulum Tambelengan, Sampang Regency. Postgraduate Program at Wijaya Putra University, Surabaya. This type of research is explanatory research, the approach used is a quantitative approach with a total sample of 42 teachers. The aims of this study were 1) to test and analyze whether motivation has a significant effect on teacher performance at SMPI Miftahul Ulum Tambelangan, Sampang Regency. 2) To test and analyze whether work discipline has a significant effect on teacher performance at SMPI Miftahul Ulum Tambelangan, Sampang Regency. 3) To test and analyze whether motivation has a significant influence on work ability at SMPI Miftahul Ulum Tambelangan, Sampang Regency. 4) To test and analyze whether work discipline has a significant effect on work ability at SMPI Miftahul Ulum Tambelangan, Sampang Regency. 5) To test and analyze whether work ability has a significant effect on teacher performance at SMPI Miftahul Ulum Tambelangan, Sampang Regency. 6) To test and analyze whether motivation has an indirect influence on teacher performance at SMPI Miftahul Ulum Tambelangan, Sampang Regency, which is mediated by work ability. 7) To test and analyze whether work discipline has an indirect influence on teacher performance at SMPI Miftahul Ulum Tambelangan, Sampang Regency, which is mediated by work ability. The results showed that: 1) Motivation had a significant positive effect on teacher performance at SMPI MIftahul Ulum Tambelengan, Sampang Regency with an original sample value of 0.092. 2) Work discipline has a significant positive effect on teacher performance at SMPI MIftahul Ulum Tambelengan, Sampang Regency with an original sample value of 0.378. 3) Motivation has a significant positive effect on the work ability of MIftahul Ulum Tambelengan Middle School, Sampang Regency with an original sample value of 0.356. 4) Work discipline has a significant positive effect on the work ability of MIftahul Ulum Tambelengan Middle School teachers in Sampang Regency with an original sample value of 0.300. 5) Work ability has a significant positive effect on teacher performance at SMPI MIftahul Ulum Tambelengan, Sampang Regency with an original sample value of 0.322. 6) Motivation has a significant positive effect on teacher performance which is mediated by the work ability of MIftahul Ulum Tambelengan Middle School teachers, Sampang Regency with an original sample value of 0.1144. 7) Work discipline has a significant positive effect on teacher performance which is mediated by the work ability of MIftahul Ulum Tambelengan Middle School teachers, Sampang Regency with an original sample value of 0.147.
