Abstract

This research is oriented to test and analyze how the impact of customer satisfaction and price on the comfort of the place at the FORE Puri Widya Kencana Coffee Shop outlet in Surabaya. By applying an associative-causal quantitative design, this study recruited 96 respondents as a sample whose calculation was based on the Cochran formula, while the determination was made using the purposive sampling method. Primary data collection was carried out through the distribution of questionnaires with a 5-point Likert scale, which was then processed through the multiple linear regression method based on SPSS software. Based on the evaluation of the instrument, all question items are confirmed to be valid and reliable. The regression model was also declared to have passed the classical assumption test because it was normally distributed and free from indications of multicollinearity. From the processing results, a structural model was obtained. Partial testing (t-test) showed that the level of customer satisfaction contributed positively and significantly to the comfort of the place (; sig. = 0.000), as well as the price factor (sig. = 0.000). Simultaneously (test F), the two independent variables were shown to have a meaningful simultaneous influence (; sig. = 0.000), which means that the criteria for acceptance of hypotheses H1, H2, and H3 have been met. The determination number ( R Square) of 0.561 indicates that the variability of place comfort can be described by customer satisfaction and price of 56.1%, while the remaining 43.9% is determined by other determinants that are outside the scope of this research. This conclusion indicates that optimizing customer satisfaction and ideal pricing policies are crucial instruments in strengthening the perception of physical comfort in the coffee shop business.

Abstract

Amidst the rise of digital fatigue among Generation Z, maintaining brand awareness is a critical challenge for today's coffee shop businesses. This explanatory research using quantitative methods explores the contribution of digital marketing strategies to brand awareness (Y) of Kopi Janji Jiwa in South Jakarta. The four marketing pillars examined include content marketing (X_1), influencer marketing (X_2), social media advertising (X_3), and engagement & community building (X_4). Primary data were collected from 398 local respondents through a structured questionnaire with a Likert scale (1–5) using a non-probability purposive sampling method. Multiple linear regression, F-test, t-test, and R^2 confirmed that all digital pillars collaborate significantly in shaping brand awareness (F_count = 243.7; p = 0.000). This statistical model recorded a coefficient of determination (R2) of 0.714, indicating that 71.4% of brand awareness dynamics are determined by the implemented digital strategy, while the remaining 28.6% is driven by external factors outside the test variables. Partially, each variable was positive and significant (p<0.05). Collaboration with influencers emerged as the primary driver (β=0.341; t=8.12), followed by content marketing (β=0.287; t=6.83), community building (β=0.253; t=5.94), and social media advertising (β=0.198; t=4.57). Based on these baseline findings, it is recommended that brand policy stakeholders focus funding allocation on partnerships with micro-influencers and interactive promotional materials to address audience fatigue with conventional advertising.

Abstract

This study examines the causal relationship between online promotion strategies and the distribution of digital marketing materials with increased sales of MSMEs on Instagram. The background is changes in consumer behavior and developments in digital technology that have encouraged MSMEs to adapt to social media marketing. Using quantitative methods with an explanatory research design and purposive sampling techniques, 96 respondents who had purchased MSME products through Instagram were ob-tained. Data analysis included validity tests, reliability tests, classical assumptions, multiple linear regression, t-tests, F-tests, and determination coefficients. The results indicate that digital ads and marketing content have a positive and significant impact, both partially and simultaneously, on sales growth. Based on the test results, the digital advertising variable was proven to have a positive and significant influence on sales growth, as indicated by a t-value of 3.843, which exceeded the critical value of 1.661 with a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05. The marketing content variable also has a positive and significant impact, reflected in the t-value of 7.559 > 1.661 and Sig. 0.000 < 0.05. Simultaneously, both variables positively and significantly influence sales growth, as evidenced by the calculated F value of 249.092 with a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05. Simultaneously, both variables positively and significantly influence sales growth, as evidenced by the calculated F value of 249.092 with a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05. In conclusion, the integration and consistent use of these two strategies can improve the sales performance of MSMEs and their competi-tiveness in the digital market.

Abstract

This study is intended to investigate the impact of Digital Marketing and Electronic Word of Mouth (e-WOM) on Purchase Decisions, with Brand Image as a mediating variable in Fore Coffee consumers in Surabaya. This study applied a quantitative approach through causal methods, involving 100 respondents who had made transactions at Fore Coffee Sulawesi Street. The data was analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with the help of SmartPLS 4 software. The findings of the study show that Digital Marketing and e-WOM have a positive and significant effect on Brand Image and Purchase Decisions. Brand image also has a significant influence on Purchase Decisions. In addition, Brand Image has proven to be a partial mediator, so Digital Marketing and e-WOM continue to have a direct influence, but the effect increases when through Brand Image. The research model produced an R² value of 0.671, which indicates good explanatory ability of the model. Overall, this study emphasizes that strengthening digital marketing strategies, managing e-WOM, and building a consistent brand image is very important in improving consumer purchasing decisions of Fore Coffee.

Abstract

This study evaluates the impact of Brand Identity and Instagram Social Media Marketing on Customer Loyalty at Uno Uno Coffee and Resto Jakarta, both separately and together. Although brand identity and social media marketing have each been examined as separate predictors of loyalty, limited empirical attention has been paid to their combined effect within Indonesia’s local coffee shop sector—a gap this study addresses by testing both determinants concurrently in an emerging urban food-and-beverage context. A quantitative method with a causal descriptive design was applied, relying on a sample of 96 respondents taken via a purposive sampling technique based on the Cochran formula calculation. The sample criteria included active consumers who are followers of the company’s Instagram with a transaction history of at least two times in the last quarter. The instrument in the form of a Likert scale questionnaire (1–5) was processed using multiple linear regression via SPSS, where all data were proven valid, reliable, and passed the classical assumption test (normality and freedom from multicollinearity). The results of the analysis showed that Brand Identity had a significant positive partial effect on Customer Loyalty, whereas Instagram Social Media Marketing did not show a significant partial contribution. Nevertheless, the two variables were proven to exert a significant simultaneous effect on Customer Loyalty. These findings confirm that strengthening brand identity is a key driver of consumer loyalty to local coffee shops, while marketing strategies via Instagram still require content reorientation for optimal impact. This study contributes theoretically by clarifying the relative weight of brand identity versus Instagram-based marketing activities in loyalty formation, and offers practical guidance for coffee shop managers on prioritizing brand-identity consistency alongside Instagram content strategy.
