The development of competition intensity and the number of competitors makes the company must always pay attention to the needs and desires of customers, and try to meet customer expectations by providing better service than competitors do. This research was conducted at Hotel Berlian Abadi Banyuwangi by taking 60 respondents who were hotel consumers. This study uses a questionnaire method and data processing uses questionnaire analysis, and data processing uses multiple linear regression analysis, F test, t test, and determination by first using the items in the questionnaire to test the validity of its reliability. Based on the results of the analysis, the SPSS program proved to be significantly correlated at the level of significance (sig <0.05) so that it was declared valid in the measurement. Reliable because the Cronbach Alpha value is ≥ 0.6. Based on the F test, the calculated F number is greater than the F table (76.136 > 3.16). Thus the rule of the F test decision states rejecting Ho and accepting Ha, which says there is a significant influence between service quality and facilities on customer satisfaction Hotel Berlian Abadi Banyuwangi. From the analysis using the classic heteroscedasticity assumption test, it is known that the variable quality of service (X1) and facilities (X2) are shown that the significance value is greater than (0.05) and t count <t table, it can be ascertained that the model does not contain heteroscedasticity.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of short-form video content on brand awareness and customer loyalty with customer engagement as a moderating variable in the Ocha beverage business in Banyuwangi. The advancement of digital technology and the proliferation of social media platforms such as TikTok and Instagram have transformed the way brands interact with consumers. Short-form video content is considered effective in building brand awareness through visual appeal and emotional messages that are brief yet powerful. However, the success of this strategy is significantly influenced by the level of customer engagement, which serves as a reinforcement of the relationship between brand awareness and customer loyalty. This research is expected to provide theoretical contributions to the development of digital marketing literature as well as practical contributions for MSMEs (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises) in designing communication strategies based on short-form videos.

Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to identify the determining factors of SME digital internationalization success through e-commerce-based platform economy in Banyuwangi, East Java, employing the Resource-Based View (RBV) framework as the primary theoretical foundation to understand how SMEs' internal resources and capabilities become determinants of competitive advantage in international digital markets. The study adopts a Constructivist Grounded Theory paradigm (Charmaz, 2014) with an iterative-cyclical design. A total of 25 participants were selected through theoretical sampling, comprising eight digitally export-successful SMEs, nine transitional SMEs, and eight SMEs that had not yet achieved success. Data were collected through semi-structured in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis, then coded using NVivo across three stages: initial, focused, and selective coding. The findings produced a core category of Layered Digital Trust Building, illustrating that SME brand equity within digital platform ecosystems is constructed incrementally through the accumulation of trust signals at every point of interaction — from product visual presentation and local brand narratives to service responsiveness and review management. Consistent with the RBV perspective, adaptive digital capabilities, local brand narratives, and seller community social capital were proven to be valuable, rare, and difficult-to-imitate resources (VRIN) that distinguish successful SMEs from those yet to succeed. These findings are conceptualized in the Digital Trust Escalation Model, encompassing four stages: digital presence, social proof, authentic narrative, and brand independence. The study concludes that platform economy merely provides infrastructure; success is determined by the adaptive digital capabilities and trust strategies developed by business actors. Abstract
