Abstract

Background: Self-efficacy is a belief in an individual's ability to successfully deal with challenges and have the confidence to achieve their desired outcomes. The purpose of this study was to determine the Factors Associated with Self Efficacy in the Learning Activities of Students in SMP Kartini 2 Batam. Methods: The study uses a descriptive analytic survey research design with cross sectional study approach. The sampling technique was simple random sampling with a sample size of 48 students. Collecting data using a questionnaire sheet and measuring intellectual intelligence with the assistance of a psychologist. Analyzing the data using Spearman's Rho statistics. Results: Spearman's Rho test showed that the experience of success, the experience of others, and psychological conditions had a relationship with self-efficacy, while intellectual intelligence did not. The p-value for experience of success is 0.004, experience of others is 0.039, verbal persuasion is 0.000, psychological condition is 0.007, and intellectual intelligence is 0.823. The correlation coefficient, the experience of success is 0.404, the experience of others is 0.300, verbal persuasion is 0.515, psychological conditions are 0.383, and intellectual intelligence is 0.033. Conclusion: Based on the results of this study, there is a significant relationship between the experience of success, the experience of others, verbal persuasion, and psychological conditions with self-efficacy and there is no significant relationship between intellectual intelligence and self-efficacy. The most influential factor on student learning is verbal persuasion.

Abstract

Background:Pregnancy is a mandatory process in order to obtain offspring. Third trimester is considered when pregnancy reached 28-36 weeks. During this third trimester, pregnant women are usually divided into two types, i.e. primigravida and multigravida. Anxiety is often found in pregnant women in their third trimester. Primigravid women usually shows more anxiety compared to multigravid women.Methods:The method of this study was observational analytic using cross sectional design. The sampling technique used was accidental sampling using a total sample of 70 people.Results:This study consisted of 70 participants (100%) with 35 primigravidas and 35 multigravidas. The anxiety percentage of primigravid women consisted of 20 people (28%) with mild anxiety, 20 people (58%) with moderate anxiety, and 5 people (14%) with severe anxiety. The anxiety percentage of multigravida women consisted of 22 people (62%) with mild anxiety, 11 people (32%) with moderate anxiety, and 2 people (6%) with severe anxiety. The results of statistical test showed p value = 0.005, which means that there was a difference of anxiety level between primigravid and multigravida women in their third trimester in Budi Kemuliaan Hospital, Batam. Conclusion:This study concludes that there was a difference of anxiety level between primigravid and multigravida women in their third trimester in Budi Kemuliaan Hospital, Batam.

Abstract

The implementation of this community service is to improve children's ability to understand the meaning of their potential which is then applied to their future orientation. This is very good if introduced from an early age, namely children who are already at school and already have optimal creative imagination. This activity supports children's ability to express his aspirations for the future. If trained, it will form character formation that improves psychological well-being in children. This community service is aims to carry out Nabilah's social care (NPS) program, which is an activity of Nabilah's social institution. This mass circumcision activity is carried out every year that is started from 2017 until now. The implementation was carried out during school holidays. This mass circumcision is aimed at Batam City residents aged 5 – 13 years. This activity increases the ability to show solidarity and care for others. Providing knowledge that it is important for boys to be circumcised as a religious obligation and a sign that they have reached puberty. Something that will be useful in the future is from a health perspective, namely physical cleanliness.

Abstract

Environmental quality refers to the state or condition of the environment in a particular area, taking into consideration various factors that affect the well-being of living organisms, including humans. It encompasses the health and sustainability of ecosystems, air, water, soil, and other natural resources. The interpretation of environmental quality as providing optimal carrying capacity for human survival implies that the environment should meet certain criteria to support human life and well-being. This research aims to find out how to apply and development strategy in providing regional facilities and infrastructure to optimize environmental quality on Dompak Island as the Central Government Area of the Riau Islands Province. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach through SWOT analysis. The research results found that the strategy for providing facilities and infrastructure to improve environmental quality on Dompak Island is by developing a drinking water supply system (SPAM), increasing drainage capacity, providing street lighting infrastructure, providing green open space, maintaining existing physical infrastructure, utilizing empty land. for the construction of parking lots, collaboration with other parties and strengthening regional management institutions. The novelty of this research involves various infrastructure components, effective use of resources, multi-party collaboration, institutional strengthening, and strategies based on SWOT analysis to achieve the goal of improving sustainable environmental quality on Dompak Island.

Abstract

Budaya sekolah merupakan pembiasaan-pembiasaan yang diterapkan di sekolah yang menyesuaikan dengan visi dan misi sekolah. Budaya sekolah sangat berpengaruh pada karakter siswa sehingga budaya posistif harus diaplikasikan dalam setiap tingkat laku dan perbuatan siswa.Budaya sekolah yang sudah termanajemen dengan baik akan menjadi nilai plus dari sebuah lembaga/ sekolah. Apabila Budaya Positif diberlakukan dan sudah diaplikasikan dengan baik, maka akan meminimalisir kenakalan remaja. Karena budaya tersebut sudah menjadi karakter positif siswa. Tim PKM dalam hal ini melakukan pengabdian di SMP dan SMA Islam Nabilah, Batam. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pengelolaan atau manajemen Budaya Sekolah yang diberlakukan di sekolah. Kegiatan PKm ini duharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi positif dalam pengelolaan Budaya Sekolah Dalam Meminimalisir Kenakalan Remaja. Kegiatan PKM diikuti oleh seluruh siswa SMP dan SMA Islam Nabilah, sejumlah 200 siswa, dan 36 guru. Sedang Tim PKM dari kampus yang turun merupakan kolaborasi dari prodi Manajemen, Psikologi dan Ilmu Kesehatan Universitas Batam

Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) yang dilaksanakan oleh para dosen Universitas batam dan UMN Al-Washliyah bertujuan untuk melakukan penyuluhan dalam program pengabdian masyarakat yang dapat berupa kegiatan penyuluhan, pendampingan. Salah satu permasalahan yang dirasa perlu diwaspadai adalah dalam hal pergaulan dengan sesama siswa SMA. Berdasarkan pengamatan pihak sekolah, dalam hal ini adalah guru, pergaulan siswa SMA dirasakan semakin “berani”. Dalam arti terkadang “melupakan” resiko atau bahaya yang dihadapi nya. Jika ditelaah lebih lanjut, maka perilaku berisiko di kalangan siswa SMA dapat disebabkan karena adanya proses adaptasi dalam menghadapi masa pubertas dan juga dalam menghadapi perubahan gaya pergaulan di masa remaja. Perilaku berisiko yang menjadi permasalahan yang marak terjadi adalah perilaku yang terkait dengan bullying serta perilaku yang terkait pemahaman akan seksualitas.

Abstract

Pentingnya manajemen resiko dalam Tindakan preventif untuk pencegahan penyakin pada organ Reproduksi Wanita. Dalam hal ini perlu kesadaran dari personal, supaya melakukan pencegahan sehingga meminimalisir penyakit dalam organ reproduksi Wanita. Pada kegiatan PKM ini mempunyai tujuan agar peserta penyuluhan menjadi paham dan menambah wawasan terkait pentingnya mengetahui pencegahan penyakit pada reproduksi Wanita. Lokasi kegiatan PKM di Perumahan Cendana, Tahap I, Batam Center dan peserta sejumlah 45 orang. Pelaksana PKM terdisi dari 1 dosen prodi Manajemen, 1 dosen prodi Psikologi dan 2 dosen dari Prodi Kebidanan.

Abstract

Masalah kekurangan gizi dan perilaku hidup tidak bersih masih menjadi tantangan kesehatan anak usia sekolah, terutama di daerah dengan akses terbatas terhadap informasi dan edukasi kesehatan. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan perilaku siswa SD Negeri 005 Teluk Sebong mengenai pentingnya konsumsi makanan bergizi dan kebiasaan mencuci tangan yang benar. Metode pelaksanaan mencakup edukasi interaktif menggunakan media visual, demonstrasi praktik cuci tangan, diskusi, serta pre-test dan post-test untuk mengukur efektivitas kegiatan. Sampel terdiri dari 30 siswa kelas V yang dipilih secara purposif. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman siswa secara signifikan, dari 30% menjadi 80% untuk pengetahuan gizi, dan dari 40% menjadi 85% untuk pemahaman higienitas. Kegiatan ini juga mendapat respons positif dari pihak sekolah. Kesimpulannya, pendekatan edukatif yang partisipatif terbukti efektif dalam membentuk kesadaran dan perilaku hidup sehat sejak usia dini. Diharapkan program ini dapat dilanjutkan dan direplikasi di sekolah-sekolah lain dengan dukungan berkelanjutan dari berbagai pihak.
