Abstract

This study aims to answer eight problems related to leadership effectiveness. It is realized that the quality of education in general and the achievement of students in particular is not a stand-alone thing, but it is the result of a learning process that is determined by various factors such as principals, teachers, students, curriculum, source books, libraries, laboratories, and facilities. other supports. The population of this study was the principal of a high school in Medan, amounting to 231 people. Sampling was carried out using a stratified proportional random sampling technique using the Cochran formula to produce a sample of 114 people. The research instrument used a questionnaire with a Likert. Research data is processed and analyzed by path analysis. The results of this study indicate that there is a direct effect of job design on managerial competence 0.5881; job design on achievement motivation 0.3105; job design on leadership effectiveness 0.2481; interpersonal communication on managerial competence 0.1428; interpersonal communication on achievement motivation 0.2573; interpersonal communication on leadership effectiveness 0.1779; teacher managerial competence on leadership effectiveness 0.1644; and achievement motivation on leadership effectiveness 0.1893. It can be stated that increasing the effectiveness of the principal's leadership can be done through job design, interpersonal communication, managerial competence, and achievement motivation.

Abstract

The school as an organization certainly has an organizational culture that plays an important role in realizing the school's vision and mission. School organizational culture is the norms adopted and implemented by all components of the school to achieve the vision and mission of the school effectively. This study aims to describe the school organizational culture at SMK Negeri 1 Bireuen in preparing superior human resources and school programs to support school culture. The method used in this observation is a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The subjects of the study included elements of school residents, namely vice principals, teachers, and students. The results of this observation show that (1) SMK Negeri 1 Bireuen has three excellent cultures, namely a culture of discipline, cooperation, and industrial work culture, (2) there are several supporting programs for students in the application of school culture, (3) there are supporting factors and obstacles to the realization of an effective school organizational culture. According to the observations, the school organizational culture at SMK Negeri 1 Bireuen can already be said to be effective.

Abstract

Pada abad ke-21 ini, kita menjadi saksi dari transformasi luar biasa dalam berbagai aspek kehidupan kita, baik dari segi ekonomi maupun sosial. Revolusi digital telah membawa perubahan fundamental dalam cara kita bekerja, berkomunikasi, dan berinteraksi satu sama lain. Di samping itu, globalisasi telah mempercepat aliran informasi, barang, dan ide-ide di seluruh dunia, menciptakan lingkungan bisnis dan sosial yang semakin terhubung dan kompleks. Dalam konteks ini, ekonomi dan struktur sosial mengalami perubahan cepat yang menuntut organisasi untuk beradaptasi dengan cepat atau risiko tertinggal. Perubahan ini mungkin disebabkan oleh berbagai faktor, termasuk kemajuan teknologi, perubahan demografis, perubahan kebijakan pemerintah, dan dinamika pasar global. Organisasi yang mampu menavigasi melalui perubahan ini dengan sukses sering kali dipimpin oleh pemimpin yang berani dan inovatif.

Abstract

Perencanaan sumber daya manusia di KPU membutuhkan suatu kebijakan dan sistem pengambilan keputusan yang komprehensif. Kebutuhan personalia badan ad hoc yang sangat banyak untuk melaksanakan kerja electoral dibutuhkan pendekatan yang terukur, akurat serta berdasarkan pada regulasi. Proses pengambilan keputusan masih belum mengikuti kaidah dan teknik yang ditetapkan dalam prinsip-prinsip manajemen, dan lebih cenderung dipengaruhi oleh pertimbangan politis. Dapat dideskripsikan bahwa pembuatan kebijakan perencanaan SDM harus memenuhi asas-asas dalam manajemen organisasi. Tahapan dalam pengambilan keputusan dilakukan secara tertib dan teratur. Serta kerangka pengambilan kebijakan yang manajerial menjadi kunci menjaga trust lembaga dalam melakukan perencanaan SDM badan ad hoc KPU Kabupaten/ Kota.

Abstract

Di tengah dinamika perkembangan teknologi dan tantangan global, Indonesia sebagai salah satu negara berkembang terus berupaya meningkatkan mutu dan aksesibilitas pendidikan dengan melakukan berbagai transformasi. Hal ini sesuai dengan agenda transformasi dalam UU Nomor 20 tahun 2023 tentang Aparatur Sipil Negara. Salah satu transformasi dan inovasi yang diperkenalkan oleh Mendikbudristek Bapak Nadiem Makarim adalah penggunaan Aplikasi Platform Merdeka Mengajar (PMM), yang bertujuan untuk memberikan dukungan kepada guru dan kepala sekolah dalam pengelolaan pembelajaran serta peningkatan kinerja di lingkungan sekolah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis Implementasi pengelolaan kinerja guru dan kepala sekolah melalui Aplikasi PMM serta faktor penghambat Implementasi pengelolaan kinerja guru dan kepala sekolah melalui Aplikasi PMM di Kabupaten Serdang Bedagai. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah wawancara dan menggunakan kuesioner sebagai instrument penelitian. Untuk menganalisis proses implementasi aplikasi PMM dalam pengelolaan kinerja guru dan kepala sekolah di Kabupaten Serdang Bedagai, peneliti menggunakan teori Charles O. Jones, yaitu: organisasi, interpretasi dan aplikasi. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh data mengenai upaya sosialisasi program sudah berjalan dengan baik ditandai dengan pelaksanaan pendampingan secara serentak dan merata dengan koordinasi dari Dinas Pendidikan Provinsi, Cabang Dinas, Dinas Pendidikan Kabupaten dan BBGP serta melalui tim pendampingan pengisian RHK yang dibentuk oleh BBGP yang berasal dari guru penggerak. Aplikasi PMM memberikan kemudahan dalam penyusunan RHK dan lebih efisien karena lebih terintegrasi, selaras dengan kegiatan pembelajaran di sekolah dan peningkatan kompetensi pendidikan. Namun pemahaman guru terkait perencanaan RHK masih kurang karena program ini masih baru dan belum terbiasa dengan aplikasi PMM. Kendala yang menjadi faktor penghambat yang dihadapi ada pada akses internet yang terbatas atau tidak stabil dan pemahaman guru yang masih kurang dalam pengelolaan kinerja melalui aplikasi PMM. Abstract

This study aimed to determine the relationship between parenting styles and the learning achievement of fourth grade students at SDN 056627 Kwala Sawit in the 2025/2026 academic year. This study used a quantitative method with a correlational approach. The population consisted of all fourth grade students at SDN 056627 Kwala Sawit, with a sample of 24 students selected using the total sampling technique. The research instruments included a parenting style questionnaire using the Guttman scale, interviews, and documentation of students’ scores to measure learning achievement. The instruments were tested for validity and reliability before being used. The data analysis techniques included descriptive statistical analysis and Product Moment correlation analysis. The results showed that the correlation coefficient (r calculated) was 0.727, which is categorized as strong, with a significance value of 0.00 < 0.05. The hypothesis test results indicated that r calculated (0.727) was greater than r table (0.404), so the alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted and the null hypothesis (H0) was rejected. This indicates that there is a significant relationship between parenting styles and students’ learning achievement. The conclusion of this study is that there is a significant and strong relationship between parenting styles and the learning achievement of fourth grade students at SDN 056627 Kwala Sawit. The better the parenting style, the higher the students’ learning achievement.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) model assisted by Augmented Reality (AR) media on students’ science and social science (IPAS) learning outcomes. The study was motivated by the low learning outcomes of fifth-grade students and the limited use of innovative learning models and media. This research employed a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental method with a pretest-posttest control group design. The population consisted of all fifth-grade students at MIS Nurul Hadina Patumbak in the 2025/2026 academic year, while the sample comprised 32 students divided into an experimental class and a control class. Data were collected through learning outcome tests and analyzed using normality tests, homogeneity tests, and independent sample t-tests. The results showed that the data were normally distributed and homogeneous. The independent sample t-test produced a significance value of 0.012, which was less than 0.05, indicating a significant difference between the experimental and control groups. Students taught using the CTL model assisted by AR media achieved higher learning outcomes than those taught through conventional learning. Therefore, it can be concluded that the CTL model assisted by Augmented Reality media has a significant positive effect on IPAS learning outcomes among fifth-grade students at MIS Nurul Hadina Patumbak.
