Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out or obtain a description of the competence of a teacher who teaches at SMP Taman Siswa, Medan. The method used in compiling this research is a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection techniques using interview techniques. The interview technique with descriptive analysis stated the results that:1) a teacher is able to understand how the characteristics that exist in each student well. 2) the understanding of a teacher in bringing and delivering the material or material that will be brought to the subject on that day is categorized well. 3) a teacher can be said to be a professional teacher, because he is able to teach well and teach according to his position or placement.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas mengenai peran kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan kinerja madrasahnya melalui perecanaan pendidikan dengan menerapkan 8 Standar Nasional pendidikan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk membahas menganai dari apa itu peran kepala sekolah dan perencanaan pendidikan melalui 8 SNP. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif. Penelitian kualitatif adalah suatu penelitian yang pada dasarnya menggunakan alnalisis. Landasan teori dimanfaatkan sebagai pemandu agar fokus penelitian sesuai dengan fakta di lapangan. SNP adalah kriterial minimal tentang sistem pendidikan diseluruh wilayah NKRI, yang meliputi 8 (delapan) muatan standar. Implikasi dari penulisan ini adalah agar bisa mengetahui bagaimana seorang kepala sekolah bisa memerankan kepemimpinannya untuk meningkatkan kinerja madrasahnya melalui perencanaan pendidikan dengan 8 standar nasional pendidikan.

Abstract

An entrepreneur is an innovator who can turn an opportunity into a business idea that can add value. Entrepreneurs also play a big role in the economy, namely by contributing to increasing economic growth and creating jobs which will have an impact on increasing state income. This research aims to determine the entrepreneurial potential among students at the North Sumatra State Islamic University by running a melted chocolate banana chips business. This research method is included in the qualitative research type, by conducting various literature reviews on entrepreneurship. The population studied in this research includes all individuals on the UIN North Sumatra campus, from children to adults. The results of the research show that this activity has a positive impact on a student to dare to try, never give up, train self-confidence and train the entrepreneurial spirit that exists in students. Based on the results of these activities, it can be concluded that the importance of developing entrepreneurship among students is very significant. Through this development, the younger generation can grow and develop better. Currently, the level of student entrepreneurial potential is at a very high and high level.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan atau menjelaskan studi literatur tentang etika pemimpin dan kepemimpinan dalam pendidikan Islam. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif/deskriptif dengan pendekatan tinjauan pustaka atau berdasarkan tinjauan pustaka melalui resensi buku dan jurnal. Langkah-langkah dalam penelitian ini dimulai dari mengumpulkan artikel, mereduksi artikel, berdiskusi dan menyimpulkan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tentang etika pemimpin dan kepemimpinan, prinsip-prinsip kepemimpinan, karakteristik kepemimpinan, fungsi kepemimpinan, peran kepemimpinan dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kepemimpinan

Abstract

Emotional intelligence is increasingly receiving attention in various fields, such as psychology, education, and self-development. This research uses a literature review method, specifically the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach, which aims to identify, evaluate and interpret research results related to the topic of interpersonal communication. This research aims to analyze the role of emotional intelligence in the world of education.  Research findings show that emotional intelligence has an important role in improving social interactions, managing stress, and motivating students, which ultimately impacts students' academic achievement and mental well-being. Therefore, this research recommends integrating the development of emotional intelligence into the educational curriculum to create an effective learning environment and support students' holistic development.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional untuk menganalisis hubungan antara layanan bimbingan konseling dan kesejahteraan psikologis siswa di MTsN 2 Medan. Melalui teknik korelasi statistik, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa layanan bimbingan konseling yang efektif berpengaruh signifikan terhadap peningkatan kesejahteraan psikologis siswa. Siswa yang aktif memanfaatkan layanan ini memiliki kesejahteraan psikologis lebih tinggi dibandingkan yang tidak menggunakannya. Faktor-faktor seperti pendekatan individual dan kelompok juga berkontribusi terhadap kesejahteraan siswa. Temuan ini diharapkan bermanfaat bagi berbagai pihak dalam menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang lebih mendukung serta memberikan kontribusi dalam bidang pendidikan dan psikologi.

Abstract

This research aims to describe or explain the implementation of strategic management in improving the quality of education. This research uses a qualitative research approach. Qualitative research is basically analysis-based research. The theoretical basis becomes a guide to ensure the research focus is in accordance with the facts in the field. Data collection in research is carried out using various research methods such as observation, interviews, literature and documentation, all that is needed are tools. For this reason, for quality education, strategies are needed to improve it, such as efforts to attend upgrading courses, take educational courses, increase reading opportunities, make visits to other schools, and establish relationships with student parents. This is one form of creating quality education. In running an educational institution, we need to know in advance what factors must be considered, namely the vision and mission must be clear and in line with educational goals to help develop the right strategy.
