Abstract

Gerakan Reformasi Gereja yang dilakukan oleh Martin Luther pada abad ke-16 bukan hanya sebuah upaya pembaharuan teologi. Pada saat yang sama Martin Luther juga melakukan pembaharuan secara pedagogi yang memberikan dampak yang besar bagi perkembangan pendidikan Kristen. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan secara historis gerakan reformasi gereja abad ke-16 yang dipelopori oleh Martin Luther dengan fokus pembahasan pada upaya reformasi teologis dan pedagogis serta implikasinya dalam prinsip dan praktik pendidikan Kristen masa kini. Tulisan ini dikaji melalui metode studi literatur. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara mengumpulkan bahan-bahan penelitian yang berasal dari berbagai literatur berupa artikel jurnal ilmiah dan buku-buku. Analisis data dilakukan dengan cara menelaah berbagai literatur yang relevan dengan peristiwa reformasi gereja pada abad ke-16 dan gerakan reformasi Martin Luther. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implikasi reformasi teologi dan pedagogis Martin Luther bagi pendidikan Kristen mencakup beberapa hal yaitu: pendidikan Kristen merupakan solusi bagi persoalan praktis dan teologis, proses pendidikan Kristen melibatkan semua kalangan, Alkitab sebagai dasar dan pusat pendidikan Kristen, dan pendidikan Kristen berdampak bagi kehidupan gereja dan masyarakat. Kata Kunci: Martin Luther, Reformasi Teologi, Reformasi Pedagogi, Pendidikan Kristen.

Abstract

Abstract. Preserving the historical heritage of Christianity is an important effort for the church to maintain the existence of church history which also influences the process of growth and development of the church today. This article aimed to offer efforts in preserving Christian historical heritage as an approach to church revitalization based on research on preservation Christian historical heritage at the Kalimantan Evangelical Church in the Mandomai resort for the 2019-2022 period. The results of the research showed that actions to preserve Christian history have an impact on increasing the quality and quantity of the church which include aspects of didascalia, coinonia, diakonia, marturia, and church resources.Abstrak. Pelestarian warisan sejarah kekristenan merupakan salah satu upaya penting bagi gereja untuk memelihara eksistensi sejarah gereja yang turut berpengaruh bagi proses pertumbuhan dan perkembangan gereja masa kini. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk menawarkan upaya pelestarian warisan sejarah kekristenan sebagai salah satu pendekatan revitalisasi gereja berdasarkan penelitian terahdap pelestarian warisan sejarah kekristenan di Gereja Kalimantan Evangelis resort Mandomai periode tahun 2019-2022. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa tindakan pelestarian sejarah kekristenan berdampak bagi peningkatan kualitas dan kuantitas gereja yang meliputi aspek didaskalia, koinonia, diakonia, marturia, dan sumber daya gereja.

Abstract

Financial management in religious organizations such as churches needs to be independent of church operational funds without relying on congregational offerings. The purpose of this study is to analyze the church's financial management strategy in managing its assets as an investment that generates funds for church management, especially in the Gereja Kalimantan Evangelis. The method used is a qualitative exploration with the techniques of observation, interviews, and documentation studies. This study analyzes the financial management strategy process namely strategy formulation, development of vision and mission, identification of opportunities and threats managing church assets at GKE Resort Tewah by building swallow nests and market blocks. The investment strategy results by managing church assets can fund all church operations and become a financially independent church without depending on congregational offerings. Manajemen keuangan pada organisasi keagamaan seperti gereja perlu menuju kemandirian dana operasional gereja tanpa bergantung pada persembahan jemaat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis strategi manajemen keuangan gereja dalam mengelola aset yang dimiliki sebagai suatu investasi yang menghasil dana untuk pengelolaan gereja, khususnya di Gereja Kalimantan Evangelis. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif eksplorasi dengan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini berupa analisis proses strategi manejemen keuangan yaitu perumusan strategi, mengembangkan visi dan misi, mengidentifikasi peluang dan ancaman. Bentuk penerapan strategi keuangan dengan mengelola aset gereja di GKE Resort Tewah dengan membangun sarang burung walet dan blok pasar. Hasil dari strategi investasi dengan mengelola aset gereja dapat mendanai seluruh operasional gereja dan dapat menjadi gereja yang mandiri secara keuangan tanpa bergantung kepada persembahan jemaat.

Abstract

The history of Christian Religious Education in Indonesia is often interpreted either as a legacy of colonialism or through an apologetic perspective that overlooks its historical complexity. This study aims to develop a Christian perspective on the Love Curriculum by proposing a reconciliatory interpretation of the history of Christian Religious Education in Indonesia. Using a qualitative library research approach, the study analyzes historical, theological, educational, and policy literature related to the Love Curriculum. The findings indicate that the history of Christian Religious Education was shaped by the interaction of missionary activities, colonial structures, and local communities, requiring a critical and balanced interpretation. The Love Curriculum provides a reconciliatory framework by positioning love as a way of interpreting history, engaging differences, and fostering reconciliation. This perspective enables historical learning to cultivate historical consciousness, empathy, dialogue, and peaceful coexistence while acknowledging both historical realities and the contributions of Christian education.AbstrakSejarah Pendidikan Agama Kristen (PAK) di Indonesia sering dipahami secara sederhana, baik sebagai bagian dari warisan kolonial maupun sebagai narasi yang menonjolkan keberhasilan misi tanpa mempertimbangkan kompleksitas sejarahnya. Artikel ini bertujuan memaknai sejarah PAK Indonesia dalam perspektif Kurikulum Cinta dengan menempatkan ketegangan historis sebagai dasar untuk membangun pemahaman yang rekonsiliatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi pustaka terhadap literatur sejarah, teologi, pendidikan Kristen, dan dokumen mengenai Kurikulum Cinta. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sejarah PAK dibentuk oleh interaksi antara misi, konteks kolonial, dan respons masyarakat lokal sehingga memerlukan pembacaan yang kritis, proporsional, dan kontekstual. Dalam perspektif Kurikulum Cinta, sejarah tidak dimaknai untuk mempertahankan konflik masa lalu, melainkan menjadi sarana menumbuhkan kesadaran historis, empati, dialog, dan rekonsiliasi. Dengan demikian, sejarah PAK dapat berfungsi sebagai sumber pembelajaran yang membangun kehidupan bersama tanpa mengabaikan fakta historis maupun kontribusi pendidikan Kristen di Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze teachers' strategies in building cooperation with parents in early childhood education at Rajawali Sakti-3 Christian Kindergarten, as well as to identify the obstacles faced by teachers in establishing such cooperation. This research employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive qualitative method. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The informants consisted of the school principal, three class teachers (Class A, B1, and B2), and three parents. The findings reveal that teachers successfully established good cooperation with parents through active two-way communication and the use of digital media, such as WhatsApp groups, communication books, and digital folders for documenting children's development. This strategy aims to align education at school and at home. The challenges faced by teachers include time constraints and parents' busy schedules, differing perspectives between parents' expectations and the school's curriculum, lack of initiative from some parents in continuing character habituation at home, barriers to digital communication, and inconsistencies in supporting children at home. Effective cooperation between teachers and parents through intensive and ongoing communication can support children's character development, independence, and readiness to move on to the next level of education.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the critical role of teachers as primary models in shaping children's disciplined character at school, particularly for children aged 4-5 years who are in a phase of spontaneous imitation. Observations at K4A class of Shining Kids School Palangka Raya revealed that the development of disciplined character was not yet optimal. Children struggled to wait for their turn, were unable to complete tasks on time, and left eating utensils at the dining area. These conditions indicate that children require teacher-led approaches and guidance. This study aims to describe the teacher's role in shaping the disciplined character of children aged 4-5 years in class K4A and to identify the factors influencing the formation of disciplined character at Shining Kids School Palangka Raya. This study utilized a qualitative approach with a descriptive design. Information was gathered through observation, interviews, and documentary analysis. The research findings indicate that K4A teachers carry out their roles optimally through five aspects: (1) providing exemplary behavior characterized by responsibility, authority, independence, and discipline; (2) providing practice and guidance; (3) providing encouragement; (4) conducting assessments; and (5) designing lesson plans. Furthermore, the formation of disciplinary character is influenced by internal factors, including children's health and parenting styles, as well as external factors, such as the availability of school facilities (lockers, shoe racks, and sinks) and peer influence.
