Islamic Boarding School Marketing Strategy to Increase the Number of New Students at North Darul Rasyid Raman Islamic Boarding School Rohidin, Rohidin; Nugraha, M.E.K, Denas Hasman

Abstract

This study examines the marketing strategy implemented by the North Darul Rasyid Raman Islamic Boarding School in increasing the number of new students. The phenomenon of transforming the educational paradigm from a social aspect to a business orientation encourages pesantren to adopt effective marketing strategies. The purpose of the research is to analyze the marketing strategies implemented and identify the supporting and inhibiting factors of their implementation. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data was collected through observation, interviews with caregivers, administrators, students, and the community, as well as documentation. The results of the study show that the marketing strategies implemented include alumni service programs, social media optimization, the use of external media, the development of superior programs such as Tahfidz Qur'an and Arabic, and increasing the creativity of students. This strategy has proven effective with an increase in the number of students from 100 in 2020 to 500 in 2024. Supporting factors include the completeness of educational facilities from TKIT to SMAIT, while inhibiting factors include limited human resources in digital media management and education cost issues. Strategy evaluation is carried out through periodic meetings and direct monitoring by the head of the Islamic boarding school. The implementation of strategic management includes planning, organizing, mobilizing, and controlling that contribute to increasing public trust.

Abstract

The focus of this research study is to discuss the fulfillment of the buyer's claim for compensation for the seller's default in the land sale and purchase agreement. The purpose of the research was to analyze the fulfillment of the buyer's liability compensation claim that was not granted for the seller's default in the land sale and purchase agreement. This type of research is normative juridical research, with a statutory approach and a case approach. The research data source uses secondary data consisting of primary legal materials, secondary legal materials and tertiary legal materials. Research data collection by literature studies and document studies as well as qualitative analysis. This study concludes that the seller's liability for default against the buyer in the land sale and purchase agreement is the fulfillment of the buyer's liability for the seller's default in the land sale and purchase agreement cannot be granted because the claim for the right to compensation is not requested or not included in the lawsuit. The examining judge cannot consider granting the claim for the right to compensation applied for. If the claim for damages is included or requested in the lawsuit, at least the examining judge can consider the claim for the right to compensation, especially by detailing the list of losses that have occurred, both concerning losses suffered as a result of default and lost profits.

Abstract

This research aims to determine and analyze the influence of transformational leadership and organizational culture on the productivity of lecturers at the Laa Roiba Bogor National Islamic Institute. This research uses quantitative research methods with survey techniques to answer the hypothesis tests that have been formulated. Respondents totaled 160 lecturers, and the sampling technique used was random. The transformational leadership, organizational culture, and work productivity questionnaires were validated using the product moment correlation formula; Reliability is measured using the Cronbach Alpha formula, and hypothesis testing uses the PLS-SEM analysis application. The research results show that transformational leadership and organizational culture positively and significantly impact lecturers' work productivity. Transformational leadership also influences organizational culture directly. Therefore, to increase lecturers' work productivity, it is necessary to improve the effectiveness of transformational leadership and organizational culture. The implications of this research highlight the importance of developing transformational leadership and organizational culture as a strategy to increase the work productivity of lecturers at the Laa Roiba Bogor National Islamic Institute.

Abstract

Pembelajaran matematika di tingkat Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) sering kali menghadapi tantangan dalam penyampaian konsep abstrak secara konkret dan menarik bagi siswa. Rendahnya pemanfaatan alat peraga serta belum terintegrasinya penerapan pendekatan STEM dalam proses pembelajaran belum sepenuhnya berhasil mendorong keaktifan dan ketertarikan siswa, sehingga pemahaman mereka terhadap materi cenderung kurang mendalam. Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan profesional guru MI dalam merancang, memproduksi, dan memanfaatkan alat peraga matematika sederhana berbasis STEM yang kontekstual dan aplikatif. Metodologi pelaksanaan program pengabdian ini menggunakan pendekatan Participatory Action Research (PAR), yang menekankan pada kolaborasi aktif antara tim pengabdi dan guru MI. Kegiatan dilaksanakan di MI Cokroaminoto Kuningan dengan melibatkan 14 guru sebagai peserta pendampingan dan 54 siswa kelas III dan kelas IV sebagai subjek uji coba penerapan alat peraga. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi tiga tahap, yaitu: (1) analisis kebutuhan dan perencanaan, (2) pelatihan dan pendampingan pembuatan serta penggunaan alat peraga, dan (3) evaluasi hasil pendampingan melalui observasi, wawancara serta dokumentasi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan terhadap pengetahuan dan   keterampilan guru dalam mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbasis STEM. Guru mampu menciptakan delapan jenis alat peraga sederhana, seperti robot hidrolik, miniatur alat hidrolik pengangkat beban, jembatan hidorlik, sapu elektrik, roket spirtus, escalator, alarm banjir dan kereta gantung mini. Selain itu, penerapan alat peraga tersebut berdampak positif terhadap aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa, ditunjukkan oleh peningkatan keaktifan siswa dari 63% menjadi 88% serta peningkatan rata-rata nilai hasil belajar. Kegiatan PKM ini membuktikan bahwa pendampingan guru dalam penerapan pendekatan STEM melalui alat peraga sederhana mampu meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran matematika di madrasah. Program ini diharapkan dapat menjadi model pemberdayaan guru madrasah menuju pembelajaran yang inovatif, kontekstual, dan selaras dengan semangat Kurikulum Merdeka.
