Abstract

AbstractThe title of this research is "Socialization in preserving the tradition of eating in mosquito nets on Ethnic Bugis in Dusun Garuda, Sungai Kakap Subdistrict". This study aims to determine (1) the process of socialization in preserving the Eating In Mosquito Nets Tradition in Dusun Garuda, Sungai Kakap Subdistrict, (2) The process of carrying out the Tradition of Eating in Mosquito Nets in Dusun Garuda, Sungai Kakap Subdistrict. The method used in this research is descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used are observation, interview, and documentation studies. While data collection tools are observation guidelines, interview guidelines, and documentation. The reseach involved four families as the informants. The Result of this study indicate the process of socialization of preserving the Eating Tradition in mosquito nets carried out orally by older family members to the younger generation. By the way, that is the first to transfer values regarding the Tradition of Eating In Mosquito Nets to the younger generation. Second, carry out social control so that the younger generation continues to carry out the Tradition. Then, the process of implementing the tradition of Eating In Mosquito Nets is divided into three sections. Namely preparing the completeness requirements for tradition, the core procession, and the closing procession. Keywords:  Socialization, Tradition, Bugis, Eating In Mosquito Nets.

Abstract

This study aims to identify, find out how influential the CRH learning model is based on students' critical thinking skills. This research is a quasi-experimental research using pre-test and post test control group design. With 40 students from grade V SD Negeri 107406 Cinta Rakyat who became the study population using two different classrooms as experimental classes and control classes, each class consisting of 20 students. Using the technique the total sample from this study was taken, and used on all populations as its sample. This research tool uses a research test consisting of 20 essay questions. The data collected was obtained through student learning outcomes from before and after the test. In addition, the data was also analyzed using Normality test analysis, Homogeneity test, and continued with T-test samples. Then obtained with a significant value of 0.011 > 0.05 which has a difference of about 9.5 which means accepting H0 and rejecting Ha, from these results researchers concluded that using the CRH method can affect students' critical thinking.

Abstract

The research aims to ascertain how mathematical communication ability is impacted by self-confidence, how learning independence affects mathematical communication ability, and how self-confidence and learning independence affect mathematical communication ability in 11th-grade students at MA Muhammadiyah 1 Medan in the 2023–2024 academic year. This is a correlational study with a quantitative methodology. This research used cluster sampling, and the total sample size was 31 students. This study collected data using questionnaires and tests. The research instruments used were self-confidence and learning independence questionnaires, as well as mathematical communication ability tests. Multiple regression analysis was used in this study's data analysis procedures. The analysis's findings indicate that self-confidence impacts on mathematics communication with a value of sig. 0.025 and a value of tcount 2.317; learning independence impacts on mathematics communication ability, with a value of sig. 0.12 and the value of tcount 2.512; self-confidence and learning independence positively and significantly impact on mathematics communication ability, with a value of . 0.000; and a coefficient of determination of 0.612, implying that self-confidence and learning independence affect mathematical communication by 61.2%.

Abstract

Meningkatkan kreativitas anak pada saat liburan sangat dibutuhkan. Program pelatihan ini dilakasanakan oleh Program Studi Pendidikan Profesi guru Universitas PGRI Madiun yang dilakukan dengan memberikan keterampilan pembuatan gantungan kunci dari bahan resin yang dipadukan dengan katalis. Kegiatan berlokasi di Balai Desa Tranjang Kecamatan Siman Kabupaten Ponorogo. Kegiatan ini diharapkan bermanfaat untuk meningkatkan kemampuan kreativitas anak dan membangun jiwa kewirausahaan, dan cara memanfaatkan lingkungan sekitar untuk dibuat barang yang lebbih berharga. Kesimpulan kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini adalah: Peserta sangat antusias, Pelatihan pembuatan gantungan kunci dari bahan resin ini dapat membuat anak-anak yang ikut berpartisipasi memiliki wawasan mengenai metode pengembangan teknik cetak,menjadi sebuah produk dengan menggunakan bahan utama yaitu resin dan katalis. Saran yang perlu disampaikan adalah perlu pelatihan tentang memasarkan gantungan kunci dan pengenalan memasarkan melalui media sosial.
