Abstract

Analysis of computer networking is very important and necessary to help improve network performance. Many companies are designed their networks are not in accordance with its business goals, so the performance of the existing network of the company is not as they expected. Therefore required an analysis on existing computer network within the company, both in terms of performance as well as network design. Existing network designs are closely related to the performance of the network. In this study the parameters that exist in a computer networking such as delay, jitter, bandwidth, packet utilization, packet loss and throughput will be measured to determine the performance of the network and then these parameters are used as information to redesign the network to get better network performance and generate more structured network design according to the needs of the company. Keyword : network performance, Top-Down Network Desain, delay, jitter, bandwidth, paket loss, thoughput, network design.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this Creation so that people in Surabaya, especially in the area know of the existence Legend of Ketintang. The creation of this book will use the qualitative method by conducting interviews, observation, and literature to obtain data to supplement and support in the creation of movable pop-up book about the legend of this Ketintang. The data that collected will be analyzed using several techniques, data reduction, data presentation, conclusions or verification, as well as editing a script that will be used in the creation of movable pop-up book is. After analyzing the data, which have been collected are then found a creative concept that is used in the creation of movable pop-up book is that, "Vibrant". "Vibrant" has the sense of the word spirit. The word refers to the spirit of the character Mbah Wijil as the main character, in his determination that wanted to make a haunted forest into the settlements. With  the technique of movable pop-up kids will be in the spirit of play movable effects pop-ups that are in movable pop-up book about this Legend of Ketintang. So as to make the children to be interested in reading this book will be able to introduce the legend of Ketintang the movable pop-up book as conservation of local culture Surabaya. AbstractIndonesias cultural diversity is very much, so that the community helped preserve the culture in their respective areas so as not to be lost. One of the main owned by Indonesia lies in the city of Surabaya, which has Batik Mangrove is located in Rungkut. Batik Mangrove using a dye made from the processed waste at the Mangrove Forest.By using the benefit book portable media, providing information that is accurate, then the book contains the history, the way of making and telling the whole Batik Mangrove contained therein and given Illustrations image to be more easily recognized and studied by all ages especially the city of Surabaya.On the basis of a view of the above, the researchers are interested in Brand Awareness raised about Batik Mangrove to the citizens of Surabaya through book illustration. Researchers hoped that the book Illustration of Batik Mangrove Surabaya, Surabaya know Batik Mangrove community and also as an inspiration other batik.Creation of book illustration as an attempt was made to preserve the cultural values in Indonesia, as the people of Indonesia, especially in the city of Surabaya with the Batik Mangrove patented become Batik Surabaya. Abstract

Abstract: Taman Sari Keraton Yogyakarta is one of the curtural heritage in Indonesia who have cultural values and symbols of royal power that reigned at the time. Is currently only used as a cultural heritage of society as a place traveled without preserving the building. During this time many media lift Taman Sari as beautiful objects that need to be visited without explaining in detail one by one part of Taman Sari that historical element in Taman Sari is not known by the public. For the book illustration is made by way of explaining in detail the functions parts of Taman Sari on Sri Sultan HamengkuBuwono 1 and as a result of the reconstruction of buildings have been destroyed that can not be done with photography and videography. Creation of book illustration is done by using qualitative research methods, the approach of observation, interviews and literature studies. The Picture of Peaceful concept implemented using illustrations with wet dye technique or watercolor. Abstract

The Breast Unit in the University Malaya Medical Centre (UMMC) was set up in 1993 to cater for the increasing number of women presenting with breast complaints. The surgeon plays a central role in the coordination of the multidisciplinary team which consists of the breast surgeon, pathologist, radiologist, oncologist, plastic surgeon, physiotherapist, psychooncologist, as well as the specialist breast care nurse. The unit provides a comprehensive patient care yrogramme, with diagnostic services (triple assessment comprising clinical evaluation, radiological assessment and biopsy), breast screening services (clinical breast examination ana mammography / adjunct ultrasound), oncological services and palliative care services. Throughout the course of the treatment and post-treatment, emphasis is placed on supportive and emotional care of the patient and her relatives. Teaching and training of undergraduate and postgraduate students form part of the functions of this unit, and clinical and basic research is actively carried out. It has been shown that patients treated in a multidisciplinary breast unit have a better overall outcome: however in low and middle income countries, the development of such units are hampered but lack of manpower and resources. In UMMC, with the institution of treatment protocols and guidelines, it is hoped that survival of patients treated in this multidisciplinary unit will progressively improve.Key words : breast cancer, multidisciplinary breast unit, comprehensive breast care

Abstract

Abstrak Penyakit infeksi bakteri pada rongga mulut, seperti karies gigi memiliki prevalensi yang tinggi di Indonesia. Salah satu bakteri flora normal pada rongga mulut manusia adalah Streptococcus mutans (S. mutans). Bakteri tersebut berperan dalam pembentukan karies gigi dan dapat menginfeksi organ lain seperti jantung, ginjal, otot, mata, dan kulit. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk membandingkan daya hambat yang dihasilkan dari ekstrak kulit batang kasturi dan ekstrak daun sirih terhadap pertumbuhan S. mutans. Kasturi (Mangifera casturi Kosterm) adalah flora khas Kalimantan Selatan yang memiliki aktivitas antibakteri seperti daun sirih. Senyawa antibakteri yang terkandung pada kulit batang kasturi yaitu saponin, steroid, dan tanin. Pada penelitian ini telah dilakukan uji perbandingan daya hambat antibakteri ekstrak kulit batang kasturi dan ekstrak daun sirih. Pengujian dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode difusi cakram Kirby bauer untuk menentukan minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC). Hasil MIC ekstrak kulit batang kasturi sebesar 0,94% sedangkan MIC ekstrak daun sirih sebesar 0,9%. Berdasarkan penghitungan statistik uji t antara MIC ekstrak kulit batang kasturi dan ekstrak daun sirih, dapat disimpulkan bahwa ekstrak kulit batang kasturi memiliki daya hambat terhadap pertumbuhan S. mutans yang sama besar dengan daya hambat ekstrak daun sirih, sehingga ekstrak kulit batang kasturi dapat dijadikan alternatif antibakteri S. mutans dalam sediaan farmasi. Kata kunci : Antibakteri, Daun sirih (Piper betle L.), Karies gigi, Kulit batang kasturi (Mangifera casturi Kosterm), Streptococcus mutans. Abstract Bacterial infectious diseases of the oral cavity, such as dental caries has a high prevalence in Indonesia. One of the bacteria flora normal in the human oral cavity is Streptococcus mutans (S. mutans). The bacteria play a role in the formation of dental caries and can infect other organs such as the heart, kidneys, muscles, eyes, and skin. This study was conducted to compare the inhibitory power generated from the stem bark extract kasturi and betel leaf extract on the growth of S. mutans. Kasturi (Mangifera casturi Kosterm) is the typical flora of South Kalimantan which has antibacterial activity such as betel leaf. Antibacterial compounds contained in the kasturi bark are saponins, steroids, and tannins. In this research, comparative tests were conducted inhibition of antibacterial kasturi bark extract and betel leaf extract. The test  used Kirby Bauer disc diffusion method for determining the minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC). MIC results kasturi bark extract of 0.94% while MIC of betel leaf extract 0.9%. Based on the calculation of the statisttic t-test between MIC kasturi bark extract and betel leaf extract, it can be concluded that the kasturi bark extract had inhibition on the growth of S. mutans which is equal to the inhibition of betel leaf extract, so that the stem bark kasturi extract can be used as an alternative antibacterial S. mutans in pharmaceutical products. Keyword : Antibacterial, Betel leaf (Piper betle L.), Dental Caries, Kasturi bark (Mangifera casturi Kosterm), Streptococcus mutans.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) approach for receptive and expressive language skills of children with autism.This study was used a research design of SSR (Single Subject Research) with A-B-A’-B’ model for 10 sessionswith a single subject (one child with autism).The first baseline phase (A) consisted of 5 sessions, The first intervention phase (B) consisted of 2sessions, the second baseline phase (A’) consisted of 1 session, and the second baseline (B’) consisted of 2 sessions. The data was collected by observation, then it measured and analyzed by a visual chart. The results of the study were obtained from the six aspects that the child was able to execute the command and express his desire because of the assistance intervention. It was evidenced by the researchresults that both the first and second of intervention phases wasobtained higher score than both the first and the second of baseline phase.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh pendekatan ABA (Apllied Behaviour Analysis) terhadap perkembangan kemampuan berbahasa ekspresif dan reseptif anak autis. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan penelitian SSR (Single Subject Research) desain A-B-A’-B’ selama 10 sesi dengan subjek tunggal. Pada fase baseline awal (A) terdiri dari 5 sesi, fase intervensi awal (B) terdiri dari 2 sesi, fase baseline kedua 1 sesi, dan baseline ketiga 2 sesi. Pengolahan data diukur dan dianalisis. Analisis data menggunakan visual grafik. Hasil penelitian yang didapat dari keenam aspek bahwa anak mampu melaksanakan perintah maupun mengekpresikan keinginanya karena adanya bantuan intervensi. Hal ini dibuktikan pada hasil penelitian yang pada fase intervensi awal maupun intervensi akhir skor yang didapat lebih tinggi dari fase baseline awal maupun baseline akhir.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze factors that influence the use of Siskeudes and examines which model that appropriate to investigates the factors of acceptance the use of Siskeudes. This study uses two models, namely Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB). Research data was obtained through questionnaires distributed to respondents. The samples of this research were 82 respondents that use Siskeudes in each Kudus District Government. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modellling (SEM) with path analysis method. The results show that the factors of both model, both TAM and TPB can explain the acceptance of using Siskeudes. However, perceived ease of use and perceived behavioral control have no significant effect on actual use of Siskeudes. TAM model was found to be able to investigate the acceptance factors of using Siskeudes quite well than TPB model. Although, both model hasn’t difference value.
