Abstract

This article explores the intricacies of big data and its relationship with security, with the aim of mitigating potential security threats arising from social media platforms. The subsequent aim entails generating optimal strategies to propose to governmental entities for enhancing their efficacy in addressing security concerns pertaining to social media and its intersection with security. The present study commences by conducting a comprehensive survey of existing literature pertaining to social media security concerns and corresponding strategies for mitigating these issues. After conducting a comprehensive investigation, several significant discoveries were made and subsequently presented to aid stakeholders in better mitigating social media security risks. Numerous nations exist wherein the dynamics of government practices lack a robust social media security policy, and they exhibit skepticism towards endeavors aimed at constructing an efficient plan to mitigate social media security concerns. This study provides an overview of the existing arguments found in the literature and presents recommendations aimed at mitigating concerns related to social media security and technology. The present study also draws upon a comprehensive body of literature to identify and condense practical lessons. Further investigation and scholarly examination are necessary to explore strategies and pragmatic perspectives aimed at mitigating the potential risks associated with social media for the Indonesian government.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Problem Based Learning model on PPKn learning outcomes in grade V students of Pangkabinanga Elementary School, Pallangga District, Gowa Regency. The type of research used in this study is experimental research, especially Pre-experimental. The sample in this study was 25 students. Data collection techniques were carried out using learning outcome tests and observation sheets. Data analysis techniques in this study were descriptive data analysis techniques and T-Test tests. The results of the study showed that PPKn learning outcomes before the implementation of the Problem Based Learning model in the pretest with an average value of 65.2. While in the posttest increased with an average value of 94.8. The results of the t-test analysis on the effect of the Problem Based Learning model on student learning outcomes showed that the significance value obtained was good, namely the effect of the Problem Based Learning model on PPKn learning outcomes (Sig = 0.01) was smaller than the specified alpha value of 0.05 (0.01 <0.05). Based on the results obtained, it can be concluded that Ho is rejected and H1 is accepted, which states that there is an influence of the Problem Based Learning model on the learning outcomes of PPKn students in grade V of Pangkabinanga Elementary School, Pallangga District, Gowa Regency.

Abstract

AbstractThe present research endeavours to explore the ramifications of the Indonesian diaspora in the Philippines on human security. It scrutinises the encounters of Indonesian migrants and their probable effects on the security dynamics of individuals, communities, and regions. This article employs an interdisciplinary methodology, utilising sources such as policy reports, and academic literature. The present study initiates by examining the underlying determinants that propel Indonesian migration towards the Philippines, including but not limited to economic prospects, social connections, and geopolitical dynamics. The subsequent discussion pertains to the difficulties encountered by the Indonesian diaspora, encompassing issues of assimilation into society, the availability of educational and medical resources, and instances of prejudice. The research subsequently analyses the implications of these challenges on human security, with a specific focus on three dimensions: (1) the security and well-being of individuals; (2) the cohesion of communities and social stability; and (3) the dynamics of regional security. The results underscore the interrelatedness of these aspects and underscore the necessity of a thorough and interdisciplinary strategy in tackling the human security issues that emerge from the existence of the Indonesian diaspora in the Philippines. The article concludes by underscoring the significance of a cooperative endeavour among the governments of Indonesia and the Philippines, civil society organisations, and the global community to alleviate the adverse effects of migration and advance the welfare of the Indonesian diaspora and the communities where they reside. Keywords: Human Security, Indonesian Diaspora, Social, Political Dimensions AbstrakPenelitian ini berupaya untuk mengeksplorasi konsekuensi diaspora Indonesia di Filipina terhadap keamanan manusia.
