Abstract

Unemployment in South Sulawesi is very worrying and quite disturbing economic performance in this area. Although the government has made efforts to achieve growth based on employment and increase the minimum wage, conditions have not been able to reduce the unemployment rate itself. The novelty of this research is to try to dig deeper into the interrelationship of minimum wage setting policies, efforts to increase economic growth and efforts to control inflation by the government, to the unemployment phenomenon that occurs in South Sulawesi Province. This study aims to determine how the influence of economic growth, the provincial minimum wage and inflation on unemployment in South Sulawesi Province, Indonesia in 2005-2019. The type of research used is quantitative, namely the research method which is a scientific approach to economic decisions by using multiple linear regression analysis to find out how much influence the variables studied are. The results show that simultaneously economic growth, provincial minimum wages and inflation have a significant effect on unemployment in South Sulawesi Province. Partially, economic growth and provincial minimum wages have a significant negative effect on unemployment in South Sulawesi Province. Meanwhile, inflation has a positive and insignificant effect on unemployment in South Sulawesi Province. The implication of this research is that the government needs to increase quality and more inclusive economic growth based on expanding job opportunities and increasing human capital.Keywords: Unemployment; Economic Growth; Minimum Wage; Inflation

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan yang memengaruhi struktur modal pada perusahaan manufaktur multinasional dan domestik di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan tahun pengamatan 2012-2016 pada 10 sampel yang terbagi menjadi masing-masing 5 perusahaan multinasional dan 5 perusahaan domestik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ROA, pertumbuhan penjualan dan managerial ownership perusahaan multinasional berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap struktur modal. Sedangkan untuk perusahaan domestik, pertumbuhan aset, pertumbuhan penjualan dan managerial ownership berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap struktur modal. Uji beda menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan managerial ownership dan struktur modal, dan tidak berbeda pada ROA, pertumbuhan aset dan pertumbuhan penjualan antara perusahaan multinasional dan domestik.

Abstract

Keefektifan organisasi dalam suatu lembaga sangat ditentukan oleh semangat kerja pegawai yang adadalam organisasi yang bersangkutan. Semakin baik semangat kerja pegawai dalam suatu organisasi, makaorganisasi tersebut akan semakin efektif dalam mencapai dan merealisasikan tujuannya. Penelitian inibertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh semangat kerja pegawai terhadap keefektifan Unit Program BelajarJarak Jauh Universitas Terbuka (UPBJJ-UT) Makassar. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dilingkup UPBJJ-UTMakassar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah explanatory-survey dengan sampel dalam penelitianini adalah pegawai di UPBJJ-UT Makassar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh yang significanantara semangat kerja pegawai terhadap keefektifan organisasi UPBJJ-UT Makassar dengan nilaikoefisien korelasi X dan Y masing-masing 0,94 dan 0,92 dengan persamaan regresi Y = 1,88 + 0,550x. Setiapkenaikan skor pada semangat kerja pegawai (X) sebesar 1 unit akan diikuti oleh kenaikan keefektifanorganisasi (Y) sebesar 0,550 unit pada arah positif dengan konstanta sebesar 1,88. Pegawai yang memilikisemangat kerja yang tinggi dalam suatu organisasi, akan meningkatkan keefektifan organisasi dalam merealisasikantujuan dan sasaran yang telah ditentukan.AbstractThe effectiveness of organization at a certain institution is exactly determined by the morale of the employeesof such organization. The better the morale of the employees is the more effective the organization inachieving and realizing its goals and objectives. The research aims to identify the influence of morale towardsthe effectiveness of Unit Program Belajar Jarak Jauh Universitas Terbuka (UPBJJ-UT) or so calledDistance Learning Program Unit of Open University Makassar. The research was carried out at UPBJJ-UTMakassar. The method applied was explanatory-survey involving UPBJJ-UT Makassar employees as researchsample. The results show that there was significant influences of morale towards the effectiveness ofUPBJJ-UT Makassar with a correlation coefficient of X and Y respectively 0.94 and 0.92 with a regressionequation Y = 1,88 + 0,550x. Any increase in scores on employee morale (X) by 1 unit will be followed by anincrease in the effectiveness of the organization (Y) amounted to 0,550 units in the positive direction witha constant of 1.88. Employees who have high morale in a certain organization will enhance the organization’seffectiveness in realizing the goals and objectives that have been determined

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of management experts, professional skepticism and professional ethics on the auditor's ability to detect fraud with intelligence emotional as a moderating variable. This research was conducted at the Makassar City Inspectorate. This research is an explanatory study with a quantitative approach. The study used a saturated sample method with a sample of 25 people. Analysis data in this research using multiple regression analysis with absolute difference value. The results of multiple analysis show that management experts, professional skepticism and professional ethics have a positive and significant effect on the auditor's ability to detect fraud. The result of the analysis show that emotional intelligence is able to moderate expert management and professional skepticism towards the auditor's ability to detect fraud, while emotional intelligence does not moderate professional ethics on the auditor's ability to detect fraud.

Abstract

This study aims to implement practical management accounting on nipah water by looking for inputs and outputs for other commodities. The main problem in this study is how accounting can raise environmental problems in the form of green accounting practices. The review is seen from management accounting to determine cross production between nipah water production as capital input for other commodities. Environmental accounting practices dealing with the problem of pricing agricultural products become increasingly complex in agricultural locations. The data source is primary data taken directly from 30 nipah farmers located on the banks of the Moncongloe Lappara River, Moncongloe District, Maros Regency, South Sulawesi during 2020. The analytical method used is to measure input-output commodities with the Social Accounting Matrix. The results of this study indicate that the total contribution index of sap water production from Nipah is 456.66 to other commodities, while commodity B is 1236.04 and commodity C is 851.66. With this contribution, farmers can manage their own sources of funds sourced from nipa palm water in a sustainable manner, not only farmers in the Lappara Moncongloe River area, but also the condition of nipa palm farmers in other parts of Indonesia

Abstract

Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat untuk mengimplementasikan ilmu dan pengetahuan di perguruan tinggi yang dimiliki oleh masing-masing dosen. Kegiatan ini dengan harapan dapat diterapkan oleh masyarakat,khususnya masyarakat yang bergerak dalam bidang usaha UMKM guna meningkat kinerja dari UMKM yang efeknya akan meningkatkan pendapat dan kesejahteraan perekomian. Permasalahan yang dihadapi mitra adalah modal usaha akibat badai pandemi, sumber daya manusia yang mempunyai kemampuan untuk menerapkan teknologi, kualitas signal menjadi permasalahan untuk pemasaran digital. Metode pelaksanaan adalah pada dosen memberikan bimbingan teknis, kesempatan kepada UMKM untuk berdiskusi dan presentasi terkait usaha yang telah dilakukan.  Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilakukan dalam Forum Group Discussion (FGD) sehingga peserta dan narasumber dapat berdiskusi saling memberikan pendapat dan rekomendasi terhadap permasalahan dan solusi untuk meningkatkan penjualan produk. Solusi yang ditawarkan dengan menerapakan konsep nilai produk ergo-ikonik, konseip yang dapat meningkatkan penjualan mereka dengan memberikan nilai nyaman berkarakter atau beridentitas dari daerah atau pulau Sebatik. Pemerintah Pusat harus intervensi untuk pengembangan SDM dan Kualitas Produk sebagai bentuk kepemilikan pulau yang dimiliki oleh dua negara

Abstract

The aims of this research are to determine : (1) the influence of business process orientation on customer orientation and competitor orientation in small and medium silk businesses; (2) the influence of customer orientation and competitor orientation on innovation orientation in small and medium silk businesses; (3) the influence of innovation orientation on the marketing performance of small and medium silk enterprises; (4) the influence of business process orientation on innovation orientation through customer orientation and competitor orientation in small and medium silk enterprises; (5) the influence of business process orientation on marketing performance through customer orientation, competitor orientation and innovation orientation in small and medium silk businesses. The sampling technique used purposive sampling.Sample size plays an important role in estimating and interpreting the results of Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis, with the estimation model using maximum likelihood (ML), so the number of samples determined in thisstudy was 160 respondents. The analytical method used in this research is structural equation modeling (SEM). The conclusions of this research are as follows:(1) business process orientation has a positive and significant effect on customer orientation and competitor orientation in small and medium silk businesses; (2) customer orientation and competitor orientation have a positive and significant effect on innovation orientation in small and medium silk businesses; (3) innovation orientation has a positive and significant effect on the marketing performance of small and medium silk enterprises; (4) business process orientation has a positive and significant effect on innovation orientation through customer orientation and competitor orientation in small and medium silk businesses; (5) business process orientation has a positive and significant effect on marketing performance through customer orientation, competitor orientation and innovation orientation in small and medium silk businesses.
