Abstract

This study aims to create a Gas Ordering Application at PT. xyz Web-based in helping companies to perform more efficiently and the system is easy to use by employees/accounting. The design is targeted to increase the interest of the company's performance, especially in data input and file storage. The design process takes 3 (three) months. The object of the activities carried out is in the form of interviews and direct observations in the field to see the circumstances and situations that occur, how the educational process has been going on so far. From the conditions that occur in the field in the form of recording the flow of documents, it is done by taking notes and inputting it into a computerized form in Microsoft Excel. Conclusions and suggestions on this application are in order to improve company performance and facilitate data input and file storage when doing work.

Abstract

Proper vertex coloring c of a graph G is a graceful coloring if c is a graceful k-coloring for k∈{1,2,3,…}. Definition graceful k-coloring of a graph G=(V,E) is a proper vertex coloring c:V(G)→{1,2,…,k);k≥2, which induces a proper edge coloring c':E(G)→{1,2,…,k-1} defined c'(uv)=|c(u)-c(v)|. The minimum vertex coloring from graph G can  be colored with graceful coloring called a graceful chromatic number with notation χg (G). In this paper, we will investigate the graceful chromatic number of vertex amalgamation of tree graph family with some graph is path graph, centipede graph, broom and E graph.

Abstract

This study aims to determine mathematics learning strategies for elementary school students during the Covid-19 Pandemic and determine the supporting and inhibiting factors in online learning. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method by describing mathematics learning strategies during the Covid-19 Pandemic. The results showed that mathematics teachers had used various learning strategies to strive for the learning process to be carried out during the Covid-19 Pandemic. These learning strategies are Online learning, Home visits in high grades and direct learning strategies, and Study Clubs at low rates. They are supporting and inhibiting factors in mathematics learning during the  Covid-19 Pandemic, namely (1) supporting factors in online learning, namely the existence of mobile phones as a medium that supports learning, the existence of quotas, the existence of book facilities from schools, and the existence of applications that facilitate us in teaching and learning activities online; and (2) inhibiting factors. Namely, the implementation of Online learning in mathematics learning is less conducive, it is difficult to measure learning achievement, and it is difficult to ascertain whether it is purely the result of student work and media problems such as not all students having Android phones or laptops and internet quota, there is signal interference or complex signals, cannot meet face to face which causes parents and students to lack understanding of the explanation of the material presented,  It is challenging to do the questions given and less enthusiastic in following the process in online learning. The results of this research were then shown through service activities at SDN 174 Palembang.

Abstract

Sampah masih menjadi permasalahan yang belum teratasi dengan maksimal hingga saat ini. Permasalahan sampah di Indonesia tidak hanya terjadi di kawasan pemukiman dan industri namun juga menjadi permasalahan serius di kawasan pesisir. Banyaknya sampah dikawasan pesisir disebabkan oleh pembuangan sampah secara sembarangan di kawasan pantai serta aliran sungai dan aktivitas pariwisata. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui kesadaran masyarakat dalam mengelola sampah. Penelitian dilakukan secara sengaja di pantai Payangan Desa Sumberejo Kecamatan Ambulu dan pantai Puger Desa Puger Kulon Kecamatan Puger Kabupaten Jember Jawa Timur. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Data dianalisis dengan metode Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukan jenis sampah yang banyak ditemui adalah sampah organik dan anorganik. Sumber sampah berasal dari rumah tangga, sungai, pedagang ikan, nelayan serta home industri pembuatan kapal nelayan dari kayu. Cara membuang sampah yang dilakukan masyarakat adalah dengan dibuang ke pekarangan, sungai, laut. Kesadaran dan pemahaman masyarakat dalam mengelola sampah masih rendah. Belum ada sosialisasi mengenai pengelolaan sampah yang baik dan benar.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the perceptions of grade 8 students regarding the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in Mathematics learning in terms of 4 aspects, namely professional learning practices, professional development, differentiated learning, and strengthening the Pancasila student profile. This type of research is descriptive research with a quantitative approach. The sampling technique used was simple random sampling with a sample of 142 class VIII students at SMPN 4 Jember. The instruments used were questionnaires and interviews. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistics. The research results showed that students' perceptions of the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum were good with a percentage in the professional learning aspect of 48.59%, professional development of 51.4%, differentiated learning of 72.54%, strengthening of the Pancasila student profile of 62.68%, and in overall aspect it was 69.72%. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the implementation of the Independent Curriculum in Mathematics learning in Class VIII of SMP Negeri 4 Jember was carried out well. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan persepsi siswa kelas 8 terhadap implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka pada pembelajaran Matematika yang ditinjau dari 4 aspek yaitu praktik pembelajaran profesional, pengembangan profesi, pembelajaran berdiferensiasi, dan penguatan profil pelajar Pancasila. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah simple random sampling dengan sampel sebanyak 142 siswa kelas VIII SMPN 4 Jember. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa angket dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persepsi siswa terhadap implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka terlaksana baik dengan persentase pada aspek pembelajaran profesional sebesar 48,59%, pengembangan profesi sebesar 51,4%, pembelajaran berdiferensiasi sebesar 72,54%, penguatan profil pelajar Pancasila sebesar 62,68%, dan secara aspek keseluruhan sebesar 69,72%. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa Implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka pada pembelajaran Matematika di Kelas VIII SMP Negeri 4 Jember terlaksana dengan baik.

Abstract

Abstrak Kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis merupakan salah satu kompetensi penting yang harus dimiliki oleh siswa, dan kepercayaan diri diyakini memiliki kontribusi signifikan terhadap pencapaiannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kepercayaan diri (self-confidence) dan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa SMP. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional. Subjek penelitian adalah 87 siswa kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 12 Jember pada semester genap tahun ajaran 2023/2024. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket kepercayaan diri dan tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis. Berdasarkan analisis deskriptif, nilai rata-rata kepercayaan diri siswa adalah 96,08 dengan kategori dominan berada pada tingkat sedang (74,71%). Hasil analisis korelasi menunjukkan terdapat hubungan yang positif antara kepercayaan diri dan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah semakin tinggi tingkat kepercayaan diri siswa, maka semakin baik kemampuan mereka dalam menyelesaikan soal-soal matematika secara problematis. Implikasi dari temuan ini menunjukkan pentingnya strategi pembelajaran yang tidak hanya fokus pada aspek kognitif, tetapi juga afektif siswa, seperti penguatan rasa percaya diri guna mendukung keberhasilan akademik, khususnya dalam pembelajaran matematika. Abstract Mathematical problem-solving ability is one of the essential competencies students must possess, and self-confidence is believed to significantly contribute to its achievement. This study aims to determine the correlation between self-confidence and junior high school students’ mathematical problem-solving ability. The research employed a quantitative method with a correlational design. The subjects were 87 eighth-grade students at SMP Negeri 12 Jember during the even semester of the 2023/2024 academic year. Data were collected through a self-confidence questionnaire and a mathematical problem-solving test. Based on descriptive analysis, the average self-confidence score was 96.08, with the majority (74.71%) falling into the average category. The results of the correlation analysis showed a positive relationship between self-confidence and mathematical problem-solving ability. The conclusion of this study indicates that the higher the level of students’ self-confidence, the better their ability to solve mathematical problems. The implications of these findings highlight the importance of learning strategies that focus not only on cognitive aspects but also on students’ affective domains, such as enhancing self-confidence to support academic success, particularly in mathematics learning.
