Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the marketing strategy of educational services in attracting new students at Nurul Yaqin High School in Tanjung Batu. The problems that occur are the time management is not right, the distribution of brochures is not effective, the marketing reach is not wide, and the number of people/parents of students who do not master Information Technology (IT) in the registration of new students. This study uses a qualitative method by using the type of field research field. The informants in this study were the principal, the head of the new student admissions committee, the new student admissions committee, parents, and students. Data collection techniques use the method of observation, interviews, and documentation. Technical analysis of data in this study using data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. The results of the study indicate that the marketing strategy of educational services in attracting new students at Nurul Yaqin Tanjung Batu High School, Ogan Ilir Regency can be said to have been going well in terms of the target market strategy of the market segment. Strategy implementation is done by direct socialization. In terms of competitive position strategy, Nurul Yaqin High School has uniqueness and advantages. Meanwhile, in the case of a mixed strategy, the education marketing strategy is well implemented.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the maintenance of school health facilities at YPI Tunas Bangsa High School Palembang, as well as to determine the supporting and inhibiting factors. This type of research is descriptive with a qualitative approach. The key informants in this study were the person in charge of the School Health and the supporting informants was the deputy principal of the school's facilities and infrastructure sector, teachers, and school documents/archives related to the problems studied. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique uses the Miles and Huberman analysis model. The results of this study indicate that the maintenance of School Health facilities is carried out through 1) Maintenance of School Health facilities can be said to be quite good, it can be seen from the people who use School Health facilities, they always try to be responsible for maintaining School Health facilities; 2) Supporting factors for maintaining School Health, namely a) School Health staff and students making good use of the facilities; b) the maintenance schedule is by the schedule of the School Health officers; and c) two cupboards are available to store School Health facilities; 3) The inhibiting factors are a) not having a special room for storage of School Health facilities, and b) not using a special record book for the maintenance of School Health facilities so that the maintenance process is less than optimal.

Abstract

The main objective of this study is to describe the increase in Arabic vocabulary mastery using picture media for TPA children in Kota Daro 1, Rantau Panjang, Ogan Ilir, South Sumatra. This community service activity is carried out to provide teaching related to education experienced in Kota Daro I Village itself, especially in the religious field, especially in the area of Arabic Language Education, to teach the vocabulary of professional names in Arabic using image media with the aim that children know the professional wording and create interest in the language of the Qur'an. The research method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method. Qualitative descriptive research is a type of research whose research activities are carried out in the field where researchers explain in detail and depth the data obtained in words and sentences so that they get the meaning of events, interactions and written data from the field. Data collection techniques through observation and tests. The results showed that the singing method and the media assisted in the form of pictures could help children master the vocabulary of the names of the professions that had been taught. To achieve the goal of learning Arabic, the researcher recommends learning by using image media. Using picture media can increase the attractiveness and focus of children's attention to concentrate on the subject matter and can help teachers to create an atmosphere and learning conditions that are not boring and monotonous. Abstrak: Tujuan utama dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan penguasaan kosakata bahasa Arab dengan menggunakan media gambar pada anak-anak TPA di Kota Daro 1, Rantau Panjang, Ogan Ilir, Sumatera Selatan. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan untuk memberikan pengajaran terkait pendidikan yang dialami di Desa Kota Daro I itu sendiri terutama di bidang keagamaan khususnya di bidang Pendidikan Bahasa Arab untuk mengajarakan kosa kata nama-nama profesi dalam bahasa Arab menggunakan media gambar dengan tujuan agar anak-anak mengetahui kosa kata profesi serta membuat ketertarikan dengan bahasa Al-Qur’an tersebut. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian deskriptif kualitatif merupakan jenis penelitian yang kegiatan penelitiannya dilakukan dilapangan dimana peneliti menjelaskan secara merinci dan mendalam data yang didapat dengan kata dan kalimat sehingga mendapatkan makna pristiwa, interaksi dan data tertulis dari lapangan. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi dan tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dengan motode bernyanyi dan dibantu media berupa gambar dapat membantu anak-anak dalam menguasai kosa kata nama-nama profesi yang telah diajarkan. Untuk mencapai tujuan dalam pebembelajaran bahasa Arab peneliti merekomendasikan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan media gambar. Dengan menggunakan media gambar dapat meningkatkan daya tarik dan memfokuskan perhatian anak untuk berkonsentrasi pada materi pelajaran dan dapat membantu guru untuk menciptakan suasana dan kondisi belajar yang tidak membosankan dan monoton.

Abstract

This study aims to determine mathematics learning strategies for elementary school students during the Covid-19 Pandemic and determine the supporting and inhibiting factors in online learning. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method by describing mathematics learning strategies during the Covid-19 Pandemic. The results showed that mathematics teachers had used various learning strategies to strive for the learning process to be carried out during the Covid-19 Pandemic. These learning strategies are Online learning, Home visits in high grades and direct learning strategies, and Study Clubs at low rates. They are supporting and inhibiting factors in mathematics learning during the  Covid-19 Pandemic, namely (1) supporting factors in online learning, namely the existence of mobile phones as a medium that supports learning, the existence of quotas, the existence of book facilities from schools, and the existence of applications that facilitate us in teaching and learning activities online; and (2) inhibiting factors. Namely, the implementation of Online learning in mathematics learning is less conducive, it is difficult to measure learning achievement, and it is difficult to ascertain whether it is purely the result of student work and media problems such as not all students having Android phones or laptops and internet quota, there is signal interference or complex signals, cannot meet face to face which causes parents and students to lack understanding of the explanation of the material presented,  It is challenging to do the questions given and less enthusiastic in following the process in online learning. The results of this research were then shown through service activities at SDN 174 Palembang.

Abstract

The research set out to determine the status of the filing system at SMPN 23 Palembang, as well as the variables that helped and hindered its introduction. The study employs a descriptive qualitative approach, with the superintendent providing the study's key piece of information and principals and teachers providing additional context. Methods of gathering information such as conducting interviews and keeping detailed records. Methods for analyzing data include summarization, validation, and drawing conclusions. The findings of this research demonstrate that SMPN 23 Palembang's file system implementation is pretty excellent in numerous respects. This is especially true in terms of Direction, which is carried out to ensure that the filing system implementation proceeds in accordance with all relevant rules and regulations. The principal provides encouragement to the office staff and instructors to get them excited about using the new file system. There is a strong correlation between the effectiveness of the file system in disseminating information and the quality of communication between the principal, administrative personnel, and teachers. Coordination, in the sense of making sure that the principals, administrators, and teachers all work together to roll out the new file system. Use of a suitable archive storage system and efficient archival communication are two of the pillars upon which the archiving system rests. The lack of skilled workers and inadequate physical space for archives are major impediments.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out how to organize classes during online learning during the covid-19 pandemic, and to find out what the inhibiting and supporting factors were at MI Assegaf Palembang. This study uses qualitative research methods, using a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques in this study through observation, interviews, and documentation. Informants in this study were principals as key informants, education staff, and teachers as supporting informants. The data analysis used in this research is data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The result of this study is that classroom organization during online learning during the pandemic has been going well, according to indicators that support the course of classroom organization, namely, curriculum, teachers, students, facilities, and media. The results of these indicators are 1) curriculum, which is very supportive of the course of the class organization; 2) teachers, that is, almost all of the teacher's tasks at the time of class organization have gone well; 3) students, namely in terms of class organization, students have carried out their duties appropriately; 4) facilities, namely in online learning, the facilities used are by the process; 5) media, namely the online learning process using WhatsApp media more often. The supporting factors are facilities owned by students such as cellphones, laptops, and internet access. The inhibiting factor is that some students still don't have cellphones and some parents still don't understand using cellphones for online learning.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the maintenance of educational facilities and infrastructure at MI Nurul Ulum and analyze the factors that influence it. In this study, the researcher used a qualitative research type using a qualitative descriptive approach. The research data were collected using the method of observation, interviews, and documentation. The techniques used in data analysis are data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of the maintenance of educational facilities and infrastructure at MI Nurul Ulum can be said to be quite good in terms of the indicators of the implementation of the maintenance of educational facilities and infrastructure, namely coordination, motivation, communication and direction. The implementation that has been carried out has been considered quite good although there are still shortcomings in the implementation of the maintenance of these facilities and infrastructure. Therefore, in the implementation of the maintenance of facilities and infrastructure, it should be further improved in order to achieve the previously planned goals. The supporting factors for the implementation of the maintenance of educational facilities and infrastructure are school facilities, recording of facilities and infrastructure, the role of school committees, and teacher involvement. While the inhibiting factors are the lack of budget, limited human resources in accordance with their fields, and goals that are less focused.
