Abstract

The existence of a tourist village should provide benefits that have economic value that can be directly felt by the people in the Pinge tourism village. This study discusses how SPA activitiesas part of how to care for health and beauty, it offers products in the form of products from the inside and outside, seen from the type of use. And the business potential of the ethno wellness spa must receive attention. The method that will be used in this research is to look for potential and opportunities to develop SPA ethno wellness products by collecting relevant information through a survey of villagers. Then by using qualitative methods, survey results through interviews, distributing questionnaires and research matters will directly discuss the topic of business development strategy for ethno spa products as one of the tourism products of the Pinge tourism village.Selection of respondents in this study will use purposive sampling. In collecting data, the research team will use the method of observation, interviews, and documentation. Observations will be carried out to identify potential, available materials, marketing strategies that can be developed in the Pinge tourism village. Interviews will be carried out together with villagers, pokdarwis and village officials. Documentation will be used to collect documents and archives related to local wisdom content around the Pinge tourism village. The results of data collection will be analyzed through three stages, namely data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusions. The results of the data analysis will be recipes for ethno wellness spa products based on local wisdom.

Abstract

Nusa Penida has many interesting tourist attractions to visit. The development of Nusa Penida as a tourist attraction, of course, human resources (HR) need to be improved, especially in the hospitality sector. To improve human resource development, the hotel management DIV study program at the International Tourism and Business Institute held community service activities (assisted SMK), by providing some training in the hospitality sector such as washing procedures and flower arrangement. The florist activities carried out are flower arrangement, types of flowers, characteristics of flowers. Then on laundry training such as chemical introduction, filling out laundry forms, using washing machines. The results obtained from this service activity are an increase in the knowledge of teachers and students regarding washing procedures and flower arrangement at SMKN 1 Nusa Penida.

Abstract

Pengemudi wisata di Nusa Penida memiliki peran penting dalam pelayanan pariwisata karena berinteraksi langsung dengan wisatawan domestik maupun mancanegara. Namun, dalam praktiknya masih ditemukan berbagai tantangan, terutama keterbatasan kemampuan bahasa Inggris dasar seperti minimnya kosakata, kesulitan menyusun kalimat sederhana, rendahnya kepercayaan diri dalam berbicara, serta ketergantungan pada aplikasi penerjemah. Kondisi tersebut sering menyebabkan terjadinya miskomunikasi dalam penyampaian informasi rute, destinasi wisata, estimasi waktu perjalanan, dan instruksi keselamatan, yang pada akhirnya dapat menurunkan kualitas pelayanan wisata. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi dan penguasaan bahasa Inggris dasar pengemudi wisata melalui pendekatan edukasi interaktif. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada 20 Desember 2025 di Nusa Penida, Klungkung, Bali, dengan melibatkan 27 pengemudi wisata sebagai peserta. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi sosialisasi interaktif, latihan praktik, diskusi partisipatif, sesi tanya jawab, serta pre-test dan post-test untuk mengukur peningkatan pemahaman peserta. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi efektif sebesar 86% dan penguasaan bahasa Inggris dasar sebesar 83,6%. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan pembelajaran berbasis praktik interaktif efektif dalam meningkatkan kompetensi komunikasi dan kemampuan bahasa Inggris dasar pengemudi wisata. Kegiatan ini juga mendorong peserta untuk menerapkan komunikasi yang lebih ramah, jelas, dan profesional dalam pelayanan wisata.
