Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pupuk organik fermentasi padat terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil kedelai serta mengetahui dosis pupuk organik fermentasi padat yang terbaik untuk pertumbuhan dan hasil kedelai. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Teaching and Research Farm Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Jambi. Rancangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) yang terdiri dari lima perlakuan yaitu tanpa pupuk organik fermentasi padat, pupuk organik fermentasi padat 5 ton/ha, 10 ton/ha, 15 ton/ha dan 20 ton/ha. Variabel yang diamati yaitu tinggi tanaman, jumlah bintil akar, jumlah bintil akar efektif, bobot kering akar, bobot kering tajuk, jumlah cabang primer, jumlah polong per tanaman, jumlah polong berisi per tanaman, bobot 100 biji dan hasil. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Pemberian pupuk organik fermentasi padat pada dosis yang berbeda memberikan pengaruh yang nyata terhadap jumlah bintil akar efektif, bobot kering akar dan bobot 100 biji. Sedangkan pada variabel tinggi tanaman, jumlah bintil akar, bobot kering tajuk, jumlah cabang primer, jumlah polong per tanaman, jumlah polong berisi per tanaman dan hasil kedelai pengaruhnya tidak nyata. Tanaman kedelai yang diberikan pupuk organik fermentasi padat dengan dosis 10 ton/ha menghasilkan bobot 100 biji terbaik.

Abstract

The deductive structure is fundamental in mathematics, but students often struggle to derive logical consequences when constructing proofs or engaging in the bridging process. This study analyzed students’ ability to deduce logical relationships between properties in geometric thinking on quadratic functions. The participants were students (N=139) from the mathematics education program. The properties of quadratic functions and their interrelationships contained in the premises represented students’ responses to the instrument. The responses were dichotomously coded based on the criteria of the carried-out deduction process and then evaluated using Rasch analysis. The findings revealed that, in general, the distribution of students’ ability levels was below most levels of the carried-out deduction process. Although a group of students had already reached the high-ability category, the overall distribution was still dominated by low-ability levels. Many students continued to face serious challenges in reaching the final stage of the deduction process—advanced premise integration and deductive synthesis—since most of them established relationships among properties merely from the given information. There were indications that learning experiences during higher education contributed positively to the improvement of students’ ability at the deduction level. The study recommends four steps to habituate students to the process of deduction.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe limited technological literacy and teachers’ ability to integrate digital learning media remain major challenges in implementing the Merdeka Curriculum. Addressing this issue, this study introduced the development of E-COMATS (Ethnomathematics Comic Augmented Reality for Teaching and Learning) grounded in local cultural contexts, specifically Rumah Adat Kajang Leko. The objective was to train junior high school teachers to design interactive ethnomathematics-based media using Augmented Reality (AR) in order to foster deep learning and enhance digital competence. The program was conducted as community service in an onsite workshop at SMAN 8 Muaro Jambi, engaging lecturers, students, and partner teachers. A hands-on approach was applied, starting from the introduction of ethnomathematics concepts, E-COMATS design, AR feature integration, to the production of ready-to-use media. Findings revealed that more than 85% of teachers successfully produced AR-supported E-COMATS independently, while questionnaire results showed an increase in technological literacy with an average score of 4.35 out of 5. Participants perceived the developed media as relevant, innovative, and applicable in classroom practices. These results indicate that ethnomathematics-based E-COMATS training supported by AR is effective in improving teachers’ digital literacy and strengthening the integration of local culture into mathematics learning.Keywords: Augmented Reality, E-COMATS, Ethnomathematics, Junior High School Teachers, Technological Literacy ABSTRAKRendahnya literasi teknologi dan kemampuan guru dalam mengintegrasikan media pembelajaran digital masih menjadi tantangan utama dalam penerapan Kurikulum Merdeka. Untuk menjawab permasalahan tersebut, penelitian ini mengembangkan E-COMATS (Ethnomathematics Comic Augmented Reality for Teaching and Learning) berbasis konteks budaya lokal, yaitu Rumah Adat Kajang Leko. Tujuan kegiatan adalah melatih guru SMP agar mampu merancang media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis ethnomathematics dengan dukungan teknologi Augmented Reality (AR), sehingga dapat mendorong pembelajaran mendalam sekaligus meningkatkan kompetensi digital guru. Program dilaksanakan sebagai kegiatan pengabdian melalui workshop luring di SMAN 8 Muaro Jambi dengan melibatkan dosen, mahasiswa, dan guru mitra. Metode yang digunakan adalah praktik langsung mulai dari pengenalan konsep ethnomathematics, perancangan E-COMATS, integrasi fitur AR, hingga menghasilkan media siap pakai. Hasil menunjukkan lebih dari 85% guru berhasil menyelesaikan produk E-COMATS berbantuan AR secara mandiri, sedangkan hasil kuesioner memperlihatkan peningkatan literasi teknologi dengan skor rata-rata 4,35 dari skala 5. Guru menilai media yang dikembangkan relevan, inovatif, dan aplikatif dalam pembelajaran. Dengan demikian, pelatihan E-COMATS berbasis ethnomathematics berbantuan AR terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan literasi digital guru sekaligus memperkuat integrasi budaya lokal dalam pembelajaran matematika.Kata Kunci: Augmented Reality, E-COMATS, Ethnomathematics, Guru SMP, Literasi Teknologi

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran berupa buku saku berbasis mnemonik yang dilengkapi dengan evaluasi Problem Based Learning (PBL) pada materi transport dan pertukaran zat pada manusia. Penelitian menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan 4D yang meliputi tahap define, design, develop, dan disseminate. Subjek uji coba terdiri dari kelompok kecil berjumlah 6 siswa dan kelompok besar 28 siswa kelas XI MAN 1 Musi Banyuasin. Teknik analisis data meliputi analisis kualitatif dari hasil validasi ahli media, ahli materi, dan persepsi guru, serta analisis kuantitatif dari skor penilaian validator, guru, dan siswa. Hasil validasi ahli materi menunjukkan persentase 86,66% dengan kategori “Sangat Layak”, sedangkan validasi media memperoleh 95% dengan kategori “Sangat Layak”. Uji coba kelompok kecil memperoleh 86,38% dan kelompok besar 86,84% dengan kategori “Sangat Baik”. Respon guru mata pelajaran biologi mencapai 94,99% dengan kategori “Sangat Baik”. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, buku saku berbasis mnemonik dengan evaluasi PBL dinyatakan layak digunakan sebagai media penunjang dalam pembelajaran biologi.

Abstract

Low mathematical problem-solving ability causes students to experience various difficulties in understanding arithmetic sequences and series. This study aimed to analyze students’ learning difficulties and the factors influencing them in terms of mathematical problem-solving ability. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed involving Grade X E3 students of SMA Negeri 17 Merangin. Data were collected through mathematical problem-solving tests, interviews, observations, and documentation, and analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model. The findings revealed that students experienced conceptual, representational, procedural, and strategic difficulties, with varying levels across problem-solving ability categories. Students with low problem-solving ability demonstrated the most dominant difficulties in all aspects. The factors contributing to learning difficulties consisted of internal and external factors. These findings indicate that enhancing mathematical problem-solving ability should become a primary focus of mathematics instruction to reduce students’ learning difficulties.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the low level of students’ geometric thinking skills in trigonometric function material. Students still face difficulties in understanding geometric concepts visually and abstractly because learning tends to focus on memorizing formulas. This study aimed to determine the difference in the improvement of geometric thinking skills between students taught using the Concrete-Representational-Abstract (CRA) model assisted by Desmos and those taught through conventional learning. The research employed a quasi-experimental method with a pretest-posttest control group design. The sample consisted of 64 eleventh-grade students of SMA Negeri 1 Tebo divided into an experimental class and a control class. The research instrument was a geometric thinking skills test based on Van Hiele theory. Data were analyzed using normality tests, N-Gain analysis, and the Mann-Whitney test. The results showed that the average N-Gain score of the experimental class was 0.6102, higher than the control class score of 0.2068. The Mann-Whitney test produced a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, indicating a significant difference between the two groups. Therefore, the CRA model assisted by Desmos was more effective than conventional learning in improving students’ geometric thinking skills. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan berpikir geometri siswa pada materi fungsi trigonometri. Siswa masih mengalami kesulitan memahami konsep geometri secara visual dan abstrak karena pembelajaran lebih berfokus pada hafalan rumus. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan peningkatan kemampuan berpikir geometri antara siswa yang belajar menggunakan model Concrete-Representational-Abstract (CRA) berbantuan Desmos dan siswa yang belajar melalui pembelajaran konvensional. Penelitian menggunakan metode quasi experiment dengan desain pretest-posttest control group design. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 64 siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Tebo yang dibagi menjadi kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Instrumen penelitian berupa tes kemampuan berpikir geometri berdasarkan teori Van Hiele. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji normalitas, N-Gain, dan uji Mann-Whitney. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata N-Gain kelas eksperimen sebesar 0,6102 lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas kontrol sebesar 0,2068. Uji Mann-Whitney memperoleh nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05 yang menunjukkan adanya perbedaan peningkatan kemampuan berpikir geometri antara kedua kelas. Dengan demikian, model CRA berbantuan Desmos lebih efektif dibandingkan pembelajaran konvensional.
