Abstract

Abstrak: Individu dalam fase emerging adulthood masih membentuk identitas dan konsep diri. Kebiasaan menggunakan media sosial membuat individu mudah mencari validasi dan perbandingan sosial yang dapat memperburuk konsep diri negatif dan memicu FoMO. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh self-concept terhadap fear of missing out (FoMO) pada individu emerging adulthood pengguna media sosial di kota Makassar. Responden dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 130 individu pengguna media sosial fase emerging adulthood berusia 18-25 tahun. Analisis penelitian menggunakan analisis regresi linear sederhana yang memperoleh nilai R sebesar 0,481 yang menunjukkan adanya korelasi dan nilai R square sebesar 0,232 dengan signifikansi 0,000 (p < 0,05). Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh self-concept terhadap FoMO pada pengguna media sosial sebesar 23,2%. Dari hasil analisis diperoleh FoMO dan self-concept berada di tingkat sedang. FoMO tidak selalu bersifat negatif. Sebagian besar responden memiliki self-concept yang stabil dapat merespon FoMO secara positif dan menjadikan sebagai dorongan untuk bertumbuh secara personal. Implikasi dari penelitian ini dapat berkontribusi sebagai dasar bagi perancangan program edukatif dan promotif yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan self-concept individu dan mengelola FoMO secara positif sebagai bagian dari personal growth.

Abstract

Early childhood is a very important period of development because it can affect the next period of child development. Therefore, it is important for parents or caregivers to provide stimulation to children. Stimulation of children's abilities can support dan optimizing their development. This stimulation includes various aspects of development, one of which is fine motor aspects. The results of observations and interviews at X Instantion found that stimulation is still needed for children aged two years and there is a lack of appropriate stimulation tools for children aged 18-24 months. This research aims to make stimulation tools specifically for children aged 2 years by utilizing used goods. The research is carried out in two stages and uses observation techniques to measure children's abilities. In the application of stimulation tools, children show interest and are able to follow the instructions. The results of the observation found that there’s a changes in fine motor skills of children who participated in the whole activities. This change icluded progress the child's level of independence and success in using the stimulation tools.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze indicators of marriage readiness for late adolescents in South Sulawesi. This study used a survey research design using a questionnaire. The research subjects were 860 adolescents aged 15-20 years who came from various levels of education, namely SMA (46.1%) SMK (4%) and undergraduate students (45.5%). The results showed that there are several indicators of marriage readiness in late adolescence. They are (1) economic stability by 51% (2) high education by 22.5%, (3) character adjustment with a partner by 35.6%, (4) parental consent by 26%. In terms of readiness for marriage, about 65.6% of adolescents stated they were not ready to marry, 23.6% were less ready to marry, 5.5% were quite ready, 5.1% were ready, and only 2.5% of them stated they were very ready to marry. In terms of the preparation needed to live a harmonious marriage, (1) communication skills by 59.9%, (2) skills in educating and caring for children 47.9%, (3) work 46.7%, and (4) emotional management 34.5%. While the things that concern adolescents from marriage are 67.5% infidelity, 60.9% being abused, dumped/ignored 45.3%, economically pressured 40.1%, and 29.8% not getting freedom. The implication of this study is to increase the knowledge of related parties, both parents, the community, and the government regarding the description of marriage readiness in late adolescence as material for providing premarital preparation/premarital education to adolescents so that late teens can prepare themselves to fulfill early adult development, namely choosing a partner and marry.

Abstract

Masa peralihan memiliki potensi untuk menyebabkan individu kesulitan dalam meregulasi emosi, khususnya emosi negatif yang tidak terkendali dalam durasi dan intensitasnya. Individu yang tidak mampu meregulasi emosi dapat mengakibatkan pemilihan coping emosi yang salah seperti memaki, mengumpat, merokok, melampiaskan kemarahan kepada orang sekitar, melukai diri, hingga melakukan upaya bunuh diri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kelekatan teman sebaya dengan regulasi emosi pada mahasiswa di fase emerging adulthood. Subjek dalam penelitian berjumlah 401 orang dengan kriteria mahasiswa aktif dengan rentang usia 18 hingga 25 tahun. Alat ukur yang digunakan yaitu skala kelekatan teman sebaya dan skala regulasi emosi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara kelekatan teman sebaya dengan regulasi emosi pada mahasiswa di fase emerging adulthood. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa diharapkan memiliki kemampuan dalam meregulasi emosi dengan lebih memahami emosi dan mengembangkan strategi untuk mengidentifikasi dan mengelola emosi yang dimiliki.
