Abstract

Background: World Health Organization (WHO) (2015) mention that around 800 women died from complications of pregnancy and child birt because of anemi. Anemia is the biggest and most difficult micronutrient problem to overcome in the world (Lynch, 2011). Iron deficiency anemia is the most common nutritional problem in the world and affects more than 600 million people (Arisman, 2010). Mung beans also contain iron, vitamin C and zinc which play a role in treating iron deficiency anemia. Purpose: To determine the effect of giving mung bean juice to pregnant women with mild anemia. Method: This research uses a qualitative descriptivee with a case study (Case Study). The instrument used the varney's seven-step care and progress notes using subjective, objective, data analysis and management (SOAP). Results: The results of evaluation from management that have been carried out for 1 month with monitoring 4 visits, it was found that there was an increase in Hb levels, namely from the initial inspection on 7 June 2020 with Hb of 10 g%, and on the last visit on 7 July 2020 there was an increase in Hb to 11 gr%. Conclusion: Giving green bean juice can support an increase in Hb levels because green beans contain vitamin C which helps in absorbing Fe.

Preliminary study result in the Geyer I Puskesmas in January to March 2019, out of 120 maternity mothers there were 104 maternal births who had road lacerations born of a total of 120 with a degree 1 of 46 maternity, degrees 2 as many as 48, degrees 3 maternity mothers as many as 0, degrees 4 maternity mothers as many as 0 and mother who did not experienci laceration as many as 16 mothers, one of the alternative methods to reduce laceration. Births performed during labor include (pregnancy of kegel) exercises. Serves to strengthen the pelvic floor muscles. Objective: The aim of this study was to determine the relationship between mothers who did pregnancy exercise and the occurrence of birth canal laceration at the time of delivery. Methods: Retrospective analytical design. The population in this study was the number of all physiological maternity mothers at Geyer I Health Center in Grobogan Regency. The technique for taking samples using the total sampling technique. Correlation test using spearman contingency coefficient. The respondents obtained from this study were 120 physiological maternity mothers. Results: 120 respondents who gave birth to 16 mothers without birth lacerations, 46 had birth lacerations of the 1st degree, 58 had birth lacerations in the second and 48 degrees following pregnancy exercises ≥3 times, 72 pregnant women participated in pregnancy exercises <3. From the results of the study, Ho was rejected because it was shown by the p value of 0.005 <0.05 or 95% confidence level, the strength of the correlation was 0.256 and it could be concluded that there was a relationship between the participation of pregnant gymnastics and the birth canal laceration. Conclusion: From the results of this study it was found that mothers aged <20 years and> 30 were at risk of experiencing birth canal lacerations because reproduction was not ready and rigid pelvic floor muscles to overcome it were carried out actively in conducting pregnancy exercises routinely because pregnant women taking gymnastics pregnant ≥3 chance of not having birth lacerations at the time of delivery

Abstract

Background: Pregnant women class is a study group for pregnant women with a maximum number of 10 participants. In this class, pregnant women will learn together, discuss and share experiences, about maternal and child health (MCH) thoroughly and systematically and can be carried out on a scheduled and continuous basis. Classes for pregnant women are facilitated by midwives/health workers using a class package for pregnant women, which consists of a MCH handbook, flip charts, guidelines for implementing classes for pregnant women, a guide for class facilitators for pregnant women, and exercise books for pregnant women (Kemenkes RI, 2014). Purpose: Knowing the relationship between the level of knowledge of mothers in attending classes for pregnant women with exclusive breastfeeding. Method: The type of research used is analytic with a cross section approach, the sample test used is saturated sampling, with the sample used is 30 breastfeeding mothers. The status test uses the Square test (Chi Square). Results: This research was conducted on 30 respondents with good knowledge of postpartum mothers about the success of breastfeeding, namely 25 people (83.3%), exclusive breastfeeding, namely 23 people (76.7%), value of 0.006 < 0 ,05. Conclusion: A good level of knowledge of postpartum mothers in taking classes for pregnant women on a regular basis will provide the success of breastfeeding mothers in providing exclusive breastfeeding.

Abstract

Background: Anxiety in third trimester pregnant women (TM III) is common and linked to negative maternal outcomes. As delivery approaches, anxiety levels increase, particularly regarding labor readiness. Hypnobirthing is a non-pharmacological relaxation technique that has been proven effective in reducing anxiety in preparation for childbirth. Purpose: To determine the effect of hypnobirthing on anxiety levels in third trimester pregnant women in preparation for childbirth at the Sahabat Bumil Clinic. Method: Pre-experimental design with one group pretest-posttest approach. Total sampling of 25 TM III pregnant women (January–June 2024). Anxiety measured using Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale (HARS). Data analyzed using paired sample t-test. Results: Prior to intervention, 60.0% of respondents experienced moderate anxiety, 12.0% severe, and 8.0% very severe anxiety in facing delivery. Post-intervention, 64.0% had mild anxiety and 12.0% were anxiety-free. Paired t-test showed P value = 0.004 (<0.05), mean anxiety score decreased from 2.84 (SD=0.746) to 2.32 (SD=0.476). Conclusion: Hypnobirthing significantly reduces anxiety levels in TM III pregnant women in preparation for childbirth. It is recommended as a non-pharmacological evidence-based intervention in antenatal midwifery care.

Abstract

Background; childbirth is natural physiological process, but it is often accompanied by intense emotional changes in mother, such as fear and anxiety. This anxiety can negatively impact the childbirth process, trigger a risk prolongation on the first and second stage, and increase the risk of complications such as infections and excessive pain. Psychologically anxiety can also hinder communication and social relationship, as well as affect the mother well-being. This study aims to analyze the effect of Mozart classical music therapy on the anxiety levels of mothers in the first stage of labor. Method; the research method used is quasi experimental, which is method involving the administration of treatment to determine the effect of the treatment on the research subject. Result;  the hypothesis test using the Wilcoxon comparative test obtained results with  a p-value 0f (0,001) < 0,05 meaning there is an effect of Mozart classical music therapy. Conclusion; there is an effect of classical music therapy on the anxiety level of mothers in the first stage of labor during the latent phase at Toroh I Community health center.
