Abstract

Good leadership can create a conducive climate to achieve common goals. This study aims to determine the strategies applied by the head of Madrasah aliyah in improving the quality of education at Madrasah Aliyah Ulul Albab Lubuklinggau. The method used in this research is the qualitative method. The results of the study revealed that the head of Madrasah aliyah Ulul Albab carried out strategies to improve the quality of education. The strategy used in improving the quality of education at the madrasah aliyah Ulul Albab is to find staff who are at the appropriate stage of graduation, namely a minimum S1 diploma, applying the 8 pillars contained in the National Education Standards (SNP), dividing the main tasks and functions equally among teachers, and Madrasah leaders. must also be a good example for teachers and students in Madrasahs. The conclusion of this research is that the strategy used by the head of Madrasah aliyah Ulul Albab is to find staff who are at the appropriate graduation stage, namely a minimum S1 diploma, and apply the 8 pillars contained in the National Education Standards (SNP).

Abstract

Abstract: SMA Negeri 1 Rejang Lebong is a school which incidentally is a superior public school located right in the heart of the capital city of Rejang Lebong district, of course there are various kinds of people with various ethnicities, customs and beliefs in this education unit. Starting from the indigenous students of Rejang and Lembak as well as descendants of Java, Sunda, Minang, Batak, Chinese, Serawai, and others are in this school. In terms of belief, teachers and students at SMA Negeri 1 Rejang Lebong also believe in the six official religions, namely Islam, Catholicism, Protestantism, Hinduism, Buddhism and Confucianism. Therefore, religious moderation is considered important and needs to be enforced in order to be able to guide the life of the school community in a good direction with a harmonious community structure without hatred and violence. In this journal article, the researcher uses field research with a descriptive qualitative approach with the principal and PAI teacher at SMA Negeri 1 Rejang Lebong as informants in this study. Then structured interview is the technique used in this study and data collection, data display, data reduction and verification or conclusion are data analysis techniques used in this study. SMA Negeri 1 Rejang Lebong has internalized the values ​​of religious moderation in Islamic religious education subjects and integrated them in the development of PAI materials and materials recorded in the PAI learning plan and their implementation has been realized in the PAI learning process.

Abstract

Abstract: Moral degradation has occurred and has become a serious threat to world civilization, so it is a challenge that Islamic religious education must be able to solve. One of the efforts being made is strengthening and internalizing character education in the Islamic education curriculum. Character education is an inseparable part of the implementation of Islamic religious education. Thus character education can be internalized in the PAI curriculum and learning. This study aims to determine the efforts made by MIN 1 Lebong to improve the morals of the nation's children by internalizing character education in the PAI curriculum. This study uses a qualitative method with a field research approach. The result of the research is the design of the RPP design that includes the values ​​of the nation's character and in the process always instills character education values ​​such as religious, honest, tolerance, discipline, hard work, creative, independent, democratic, curiosity, enthusiasm. nationality, love for the homeland, appreciate achievements, friendly/communicative, love peace, love to read, care for the environment, care about social and responsibility. Apart from intra-curricular activities, character education is also applied to co-curricular and extra-curricular activities such as tahsin, khatil and muhadharah as well as PHBI, activities tahfizh and scouts.

Abstract

The study aims to analyze the impact of curriculum transformation on student competence thru learning engagement as a mediating variable in the Islamic Religious Education Study Program (PAI). The approach used is quantitative with an explanatory design. Data were collected thru a Likert scale-based questionnaire distributed to students who had participated in learning with the transformed curriculum. Data analysis was conducted using Partial Least Squares-based Structural Equation Modeling (SEM-PLS) to test the relationships between variables and mediation effects. The research results show that curriculum transformation has a positive effect on student learning engagement and competence. Learning engagement has also been proven to have a positive impact on student competence. Additionally, learning engagement acts as a mediating variable that strengthens the influence of curriculum transformation on student competence. These findings indicate that the effectiveness of curriculum transformation is not only determined by changes in the curriculum structure but also by the level of student engagement in the learning process. Thus, the improvement of student competencies can be optimally achieved thru an adaptive curriculum and learning that encourages active student engagement.
