<![CDATA[This study aims to examine and analyze the students' creative thinking ability. The population in this study is the students of grade VIII junior high school in one of the schools in Karawang. This classroom action research is planned to consist of 2 (two) cycles. Firstly given initial tests with a view to know the initial ability of students and related to the material wake up space. In the first cycle, the remaining able to answer the problem well reach 36.6%. From the results of tests in the first cycle can be said the ability of creative thinking students is still low. ]]>

<![CDATA[The research aims to know the mathematical connections of students of class VII on the material triangle. The method used is descriptive with the metacognitive approach. The subject of this research is class VII MTs DAARUL MA'ARIF. The result of data analysis shows students of class VII MTs on material triangle still low. This can be know at the time students do the questions, or practice in everyday life. From the results of the percentage of 5 students only 45% knowledge about the material triangle.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to examine and analyze the contextual approach to improve the communication skills of junior high school students. Population in this research is a student of class VIII SMP in Karawang. This classroom action research is planned to consist of 2 (two) cycles based on the syllabus of the teaching of mathematics teacher of class VIII. Each cycle is implemented in accordance with the changes to be achieved. Prior to the action, the first test is given with the intention to know the initial ability of students and related to the topic taught that is SPLDV. Based on the results and discuss the students' understanding ability has increased.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of implementing reciprocal teaching approach as an attempt to improve students’ mathematical representation in class IX-B MTs Al-Musyahadah Cimahi on the curved-face three-dimensional-object. The type of research, which applied, is classroom action research. The classroom action research consists of 2 (two) cycles based on teaching syllabus of the mathematics teacher in class IX-B. Each cycle was conducted based on the learning objectives. The cycle in this study involved the following procedures: (1) Planning; (2) Implementation of action; (3) Observation and evaluation; (4) Reflection. Based on the result of research conducted on the students of class IX-B MTs Al-Musyahadah on the curved-face three-dimensional-object material, it revealed the fact that the use of reciprocal teaching approach can improve the ability of mathematical representation, which are; (1) responses and learning outcomes shown in cycle II are primly good, and (2) the students’ score of mathematical representation test capability in each cycle has improve significantly, until 87% on the last cycle . Moreover, the results showed that there are only 4 students from total 29 students who obtain score below 65. Therefore, Learning by applying reciprocal teaching approach is very effective to use in learning process.]]>

<![CDATA[The aim of this research is to know the difficulties of reasoning ability include: (1) ability to give explanation related to Triangle and Segiempat using model, fact, nature, and relationship, (2) student ability to estimate answer and solution process of question given, (3) ) the ability of students to use patterns and relationships to analyze problems in Triangle and Quadrilateral, (4) ability to draw conclusions from every problem that exist both orally and in writing. The method used in this study by using qualitative methods. Population taken in this research is a student of SMP Negeri 1 Ngamprah class VII. Based on the research result, the average score of students' mathematical reasoning ability on triangle and quadrilateral material is 47%. Students who are able to determine the area and circumference of the flat wake tested in the solution of mathematical reasoning is 35%. While the number of students who are able to calculate the pattern n as much as 20%. Based on the data, it is concluded that there are students 'reasoning difficulties and students' mathematical reasoning ability at SMPN 1 Ngamprah is still low.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to examine and analyze about problem based learning approach to improve understanding ability in senior high school . The population in this research is XI IPA grade senior high school in Karawang. This study was designed qualitative descriptive method. Based on the results and discussion students understanding ability had improved. Based on the results of the analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that students' mathematical understanding on the subject matter "circle" of students in grade XI IPA 3 SMAN 6 Karawang can be improved by using problem-based learning approach. It is known from the number of students who experience improvement in each cycle. In cycle I shows that the result of learning mathematics on the matter of classical equation of the circle score obtained by students from the questions given in the first cycle test, obtained 30 students reached 66.67% of 45 students who are able to get the value of 76 and above while in cycle II shows that the results of mathematics learning on the material of tangent tangent similarity has reached 91.12% or as many as 41 students. ]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this researchis to improve mathematical communication ability of the students in class VIII A in two variabels equation system by using Realistic Mathematic Education (RME) approach at SMPN 2 Cariu. The type of this research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) by using spiral research model from Kemmis and McTaggart with the sample of this research is all students of class VIII A SMPN 2 Cariu. This research consists of two cycles where each cycle consists of planning, implementation, observation and replection, which is before and after this research is given the instruments in the essay from in each cycle, there is an observation sheet of the teacher and students activity during in the learning progress. The result of this research is to indicate the students mathematical communication aibility can be improve through the application of the Realistic Mathematic Education (RME) approach.]]>

<![CDATA[This research is a classroom action research with descriptive qualitative method, which aims to ilustrate how improved students mathematical understanding abilities when using Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) approach to the material of straight line equations. The subjects of this study is 32 students of class VIII-C Junior High School Pasundan 9 Bandung. The instruments used in this study is 5 essay questions that referref to indicators of mathematical understanding ability that is given at the beginning of learning and the end of learning, which is then analyzed by calculating the average of each question indicator. The result of this study indicate that students mathematical understanding ability can be improved using a contextual teaching and learning approach.]]>

<![CDATA[Tujuan pada riset ini yaitu untuk meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa kelas XI SMK pada materi matriks yang dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Reciprocal Teaching. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu penelitian tindakan kelas atau classroom action research. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus yang setiap siklusnya memiliki empat tahapan yaitu perencanaan, pelaksaaan, pengamatan serta refleksi. Adapun subjek pada penelitian yaitu kelas XI di SMK Nurul Fallah Cikalongkulon Cianjur tahun pelajaran 2021/2022, yang dipilih adalah kelas XI-Akodomi perhotelan dengan jumlah peserta didik yaitu 28 orang. Instrumen penelitian dengan menggunakan tes kemampuan komunikasi matematis. Menurut hasil penelitian, penerapan model Reciprocal Teaching dapat meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa dalam materi matriks hal ini dapat dilihat dari ketuntasan klasikal siswa dan analisis N-Gain. Pada tes akhir Siklus I hasil belajar siswa masih banyak yang belum memenuhi Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM) sehingga tidak mencapai indikator keberhasilan yang ditetapkan dan hasil efektivitas N-Gain pun termasuk kedalam kategori tidak efektif selanjutnya pada tes akhir Siklus II hasil belajar siswa sudah memenuhi Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM) sehingga sudah mencapai indikator keberhasilan yang ditetapkan dan hasil perhitungan efektivitas N-Gain pun termasuk kedalah kategori efektif, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model Reciprocal Teaching dapat meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa pada materi matriks kelas X SMK Nurul Fallah Cikalongkulon Cianjur.]]>

<![CDATA[Academic procrastination is a negative thing that must be avoided, especially by students. The objective of this study is to assess the effectiveness of group guidance services that employ self-management ways to reduce academic procrastination in junior high school students. This study employs mixed methods, using an explanatory sequential research design. The subjects in this research were 8 experimental group students and 8 control group students who had high academic procrastination. The results of the research show that the comparison between the pretest and posttest questionnaires shows that there is a decrease in academic procrastination. These results can be proven in the independent sample test, that the sig (2-tailed) value is 0.000 < 0.05, This indicates that Ho is rejected but Ha is accepted. Thus, group guiding services paired with self-management abilities might help reduce academic procrastination.]]>
