Abstract

This research is motivated by the phenomenon of the problem that shows the low achievement motivation of students at school. The purpose of this study was to examine the effectiveness of using self-instruction techniques as a medium to increase student achievement motivation. The research design used a pre-experimental design, the research method used one group pretest and a posttest design. The research subjects were students of class XI SMA 03 Bengkulu City in 2019 with a total of 10 students, the subjects were selected using a purposive sampling technique. The research instrument uses; (1) treatment materials, (2) achievement motivation scale, and (3) observation guidelines. Data analysis used nonparametric analysis with Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test statistical test. The results of hypothesis testing show that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, this means that there is an increase in student achievement motivation after being given self-instruction techniques. The conclusion of the research shows that the self-instruction technique is effective and can be used as a medium to increase students' achievement motivation.

Abstract

Komposit merupakan material yang terdiri dari satu atau beberapa serat serta matriks. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh perbandingan fraksi volume antara serat daun nanas dan serat sabut kelapa bermatriks epoxy terhadap sifat mekanik komposit yang ditinjau dari pengujian tarik.Pencetakan komposit dilakukan dengan mencampurkan serat daun nanas 20% : serat sabut kelapa 10% : 70% resin epoxy, serat daun nanas 15%: serat sabut kelapa 15% : 70% resin epoxy , serat daun nanas 10% : serat sabut kelapa 20% : 70% resin epoxy, dengan susunan serat acak menggunakan metode hand lay up. Analisa sifat mekanik dari pengujian tarik berstandarkan ASTM D638 TYPE 1. Dari hasil data pengujian tarik diperoleh nilai kekuatan tegangan tarik dan regangan tarik terbesar terletak pada variasi fraksi volume serat daun nanas 20% : serat sabut kelapa 10% : 70% resin epoxy dengan nilai kekuatan tegangan tarik rata-rata sebesar 34,61 N/mm2 dan kekuatan regangan tarik rata-rata sebesar 1,71% , sedangkan untuk nilai kekuatan tegangan tarik terendah terletak pada variasi fraksi volume serat daun nanas 10% : serat sabut kelapa 20% : resin epoxy 70% dengan nilai kekuatan tegangan tarik rata – rata sebesar dan untuk nilai regangan tarik terendah terletak pada variasi fraksi volume serat daun nanas 15%: serat sabut kelapa 15%: resin epoxy 70% dengan nilai kekuatan regangan tarik rata-rata sebesar 1,36%. Berdasarkan data pengujian tarik tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa semakin banyak persentase serat daun nanas pada komposit hybrid serat daun nanas dan serat sabut kelapa bermatriks epoxy maka kekuatan tarik dan bendingnya semakin meningkat.

Abstract

The problem of character today is that there is still little integration of religious concepts as a shaper of human character. This study aims to determine the values of character education using a psychosufistic (Sufism) approach through ta'alluq, takhalluq, and tahaqquq methods. The research design used a qualitative-descriptive approach (hermeneutics). Data collection used primary and secondary data sources of Sufism texts (kitab-kitab). Data analysis used hermeneutic-psychosufistic analysis. The results showed that the teaching values that can be built in shaping human character include (1) the value of sincerity, (2) the value of willingness, (3) the value of patience, (4) the value of humility, (5) the value of tawakal, (6) the value of hope, (7) the value of fear, (8) the value of gratitude. This research contributes as enrichment material and human teachings about the procedures for growing character values (personality) by emphasizing spiritual management exercises using a psychosufistic (Sufism) approach through the ta'alluq, takhalluq, tahaqquq methods.

Abstract

Academic procrastination is a negative thing that must be avoided, especially by students. The objective of this study is to assess the effectiveness of group guidance services that employ self-management ways to reduce academic procrastination in junior high school students. This study employs mixed methods, using an explanatory sequential research design. The subjects in this research were 8 experimental group students and 8 control group students who had high academic procrastination. The results of the research show that the comparison between the pretest and posttest questionnaires shows that there is a decrease in academic procrastination. These results can be proven in the independent sample test, that the sig (2-tailed) value is 0.000 < 0.05, This indicates that Ho is rejected but Ha is accepted. Thus, group guiding services paired with self-management abilities might help reduce academic procrastination.

Abstract

Personal guidance is a guidance given by an expert to individuals or groups, in helping individuals face and solve personal problems. The research method used in this research is descriptive quantitative research method. The results of this study are that there is a moderate relationship between the correlation of the implementation of personal guidance and the formation of children's spiritual intelligence. The link between the indicators of the invitation to pray in congregation with formation.

Abstract

Penggunaan youtube sebagai salah satu jenis media pembelajaran berbasis audio visual menjadi popular khususnya saat dan setelah mewabahnya covid-19, akan tetapi dalam menentukan video youtube yang tepat dengan kebutuhan anak usia dini diperlukan bantuan dari orang dewasa untuk memilih konten video. Pemilihan konten video yang dilakukan oleh dewasa merupakan bagian dari konsep teori belajar Lev Vygotsky. Dalam penelitian ini pemilihan konten video difokuskan pada kemampuan kognitif dan bahasa anak usia dini. Oleh karena itu tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menganalisis youtube sebagai media pembelajaran dalam mengembangkan perkembangan kognitif dan bahasa anak usia dini berdasarkan teori belajar Vygotsky dengan menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif terhadap 23 mahasiswa program studi Pendidikan Guru Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini melalui teknik wawancara. Adapun hasil penelitian dengan menggunakan teknik analisis tematik bahwa konten video youtube yang dipilih oleh orang dewasa sebagai media pembelajaran merupakan bantuan atau dukungan terhadap pengembangan kemampuan kognitif dan bahasa anak usia dini. Pada teori belajar Lev Vygotsky pemberian bantuan atau dukungan orang dewasa yaitu orang tua dan guru yang memiliki pengalaman merupakan penerapan dari konsep scaffolding dan Zona perkembangan proksimal (ZPD).

Abstract

One aspect of a child's character development is influenced by parenting, good parenting will certainly support the child's character and vice versa. The purpose of this study is to represent the urgency of parenting as the basis for character education for elementary children. This research method uses field studies. The subjects of the study were Rendra Bimantara's family and Teten Marlena's family in Bumi Ayu Village, Bengkulu City. The results showed that (1) the parenting style used by families in teaching character education to their children uses authoritative parenting; (2) character values instilled in children include religion, honesty, care/empathy, independence, discipline, responsibility, hard work, humility, courage, fairness, patience, tolerance, leadership; (3) strategies used in educating their children include (1) through behavioral examples, early education, through refraction, through example. The contribution of research results can be used as enrichment material both theoretically and practically regarding family-based character education.

Abstract

Digital transformation in guidance and counseling leverages website media to enhance students’ self-awareness, adapting to technological advancements in education. This study aims to test the effectiveness of website media in increasing students’ self-awareness through group guidance services. The research method uses the Research and Development (R&D) approach with the continuous Borg & Gall model, involving class X students of SMK Mahardhika Batujajar. The research instrument is a self-awareness scale, with data analysis through the Kolmogorov-Smirnov and Shapiro-Wilk normality tests and the paired sample t-test effectiveness test. The results showed a significant increase in students’ self-awareness, with a total pretest score of 1,224 increasing to 1,745 in the posttest. The normality test showed that the data was normally distributed with a Kolmogorov-Smirnov significance value of 0.261 and Shapiro-Wilk 0.726 (> 0.05). The paired sample t-test effectiveness test showed a Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.000, which means that there is a significant difference between the pretest and posttest. In conclusion, website-based media has proven effective in increasing students’ self-awareness with a more flexible and interactive approach. The contribution of this research includes a strategy for developing more adaptive technology-based guidance, providing more effective alternatives for students, and being a reference for teachers and counselors in integrating digital media in guidance and counseling services.
