Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kemampuan penalaran dan kemandirian belajar pada materi persamaan garis lurus siswa SMP. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Tempat penelitian dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 5 Cimahi pada kelas VIII semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2017-2018. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 5 Cimahi pada materi Persamaan Garis Lurus. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII E. Untuk memperoleh data penelitian digunakan instrumen berupa tes soal uraian dan angket kemandirian belajar. Hasil penelitian didapat kesimpulan: (1) tingkat kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa dalam penyelesaian masih level rendah; (2) kesulitan siswa pada umunya belum memahami soal dan prakonsep masih rendah; (3) siswa belum tertanam rasa belajar secara mandiri.
Kata kunci: kemampuan penalaran matematis, kemandirian belajar.
ABSTRACT
This study aims to analyze the ability of reasoning and self-regulated learning on the material of equations of straight lines of junior high school students. This research method using qualitative descriptive method. This research is conducted in SMP Negeri 5 Cimahi in Grade VIII of academic year 2017-2018. The population of this study is the students of class VIII SMP Negeri 5 Cimahi who have studied the material of the equation of straight line. The subject of the research is the students of class VIII E. To obtain the research data used the instrument in the form of test description and questionnaire self-regulated learning. The results of the research concluded: (1) the level of students mathematical reasoning ability in the problem solving is still low level; (2) students difficulties in general have not understood the problem and the preconception is still low; (3) students have not embedded the sense of learning independently.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat kemampuan penalaran matematis dan resiliensi siswa SMA untuk mengetahui kesalahan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal statistika. Metode penelitian ini adalah deskritif kualitatif. Tempat penelitian dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 4 Cimahi jurusan IPA kelas XII- MIA 3 semester 1. Penelitian ini tergolong dalam penelitian deskriptif kualitatif yang berupaya untuk mendeskripsikan analisis kesalahan siswa dalam mengerjakan dan menyelesaikan soal statistika. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa SMA kelas XII di kota Cimahi jurusan IPA. Untuk memperoleh data penelitian digunakan instrumen berupa tes diagnostic soal statistika dan angket resiliensi siswa. Hasil penelitian didapat kesimpulan: (1) tingkat kemampuan siswa pada soal kemampuan penalaran masih rendah; (2) kesalahan siswa pada umunya belum memahami soal dan belum memiliki daya nalar yang baik; (3) siswa masih perlu ditanamkan mathematical resilience. Adapun solusi untuk mengatasi hambatan tersebut melalui latihan atai drill soal secara terstruktur dan memberikan soal yang beragam sebagai bahan untuk berlatih. Guru mencoba menggunakan metode yang berbeda setiap pertemuan di kelas agar siswa tidak mudah jenuh dan berlatih berpikir dan memiliki penalaran yang tinggi.

This research is a study to analyze the ability of mathematical connections and self-confidence in the flat-side space material for junior high school students. This research used a qualitative descriptive method. The study was conducted at 47 Bandug Junior High School in 9th grade students of SMPN 47 Bandung who had studied in a flat side room. The research subjects were ninth grade F. The data were collected in the form of a description of the test instrument and self-confidence questionnaire. The results of the study concluded: 1) the level of students' mathematical connection skills in the settlement pointed at good categories; 2) students have mastered the materials so that they could understand problems and concepts well; 3) students already have had good self-confidence.

The purpose of this study was to determine the increase in creative thinking skills of junior high school students who use learning by using the problem posing approach and the scientific approach to classroom learning, especially in mathematics. Quasi experiment is this type of research with the control group pre test and post test design. The research was conducted at one of the junior high schools in Cimahi City. As many as 62 students of class VII being sampled in this study consisted of 30 students in the experimental class with problem posing learning and 32 students in the control class with scientific learning. The testing in this study uses IBM SPSS version 22 software. The conclusions from the results of this study are 1) Increasing the ability of mathematical creative thinking by using a problem posing approach better than the scientific approach, 2) A problem posing approach if it is well planned for effectiveness when learning takes place, and 3) Students who are inaccurate in solving the problem of the ability to think creatively because they do not understand the problems asked in the questions. This can be seen from several responses of students who are incomplete in giving responses

Mathematics is a science that can not be separated from other science as well as in everyday life. The ability of mathematical Connection aims to connect the mathematics with other disciplines and also daily life so that math can be more meaningful. This study aims to determine the ability of mathematical connections of junior high school students VIII class in one of junior high school in Bandung on Comparable material reviewed through gender. Subject consists of 35 students. In addition, the discussion on the mathematical connection ability for junior high school students from the difference of gender, between students and students in terms of ability penyimannya. The understanding of the mathematical connection capability rests on the concept of "socio-cultural construction" that there is a difference between men and women, resulting in their respective roles and duties. While based on the results of his research states that the difference of ability between male and female students and the results showed that the mathematical connection ability of female students is much better that is with an average of 3.71 from the students 3.59. In addition to gender factors are also found other factors that can affect the achievement of the ability of the connection of the readiness of students and teachers to learn, basic skills of students and basic knowledge of mathematical concepts

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis minat belajar siswa kelas VIII pada materi pokok bangun ruang sisi datar dengan berbantuan aplikasi geogebra. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek dari penelitian ini merupakan siswa SMP kelas VIII sebanyak 11 orang siswa, yang terdiri dari 5 orang siswa laki-laki dan 6 orang siswa perempuan. Teknik pengambilan data yang digunakan berupa instrumen angket skala minat belajar siswa yang memuat 5 indikator pada materi bangun ruang sisi datar dengan berbantuan aplikasi geogebra yang terdiri dari 14 pernyataan dengan masing – masing 7 pernyaatan positif dan 7 pernyataan negatif. Teknik pengolahan data yang diperoleh menggunakan Microsoft Excel. Berdasarkan hasil analisis pada penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa minat belajar siswa pada materi bangun ruang sisi datar dengan berbantuan aplikasi geogebra mendapatkan respon positif dalam meningkatkan minat belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran matematika salah satunya pada materi bangun ruang sisi datar. Hal tersebut terbukti pada persentase rata – rata keseluruhan mencapai 76,89% dengan klasifikasi baik.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis minat belajar siswa pada sub materi kubus menggunakan pendekatan saintifik berbantuan sofware GeoGebra. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan sampel sebanyak 10 orang siswa kelas VIII. Teknik pengambilan data menggunakan Angket Skala Minat Belajar Siswa dengan 10 butir pernyataan terdiri dari pernyataan positif dan negatif dengan jumlah yang seimbang. Instumen tes yang digunakan adalah Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik dengan langkah-langkah saintifik. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan minat belajar siswa pada sub materi kubus menggunakan pendekatan saintifik berbantuan software GeoGebra memiliki hasil yang sangat positif dengan rata-rata respon siswa menunjukkan kategori sangat positif yaitu sebesar 82%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan diperoleh bahwa pembelajaran matematika dengan berbantuan software GeoGebra memperoleh hasil positif dalam meningkatkan minat belajar siswa SMP Kelas VIII.

The use of important teaching materials in the implementation of learning. This research also aims to support mathematics learning to be more interactive and effective and to support student activities in the learning process to improve well. Student learning outcomes also focus on students’ mathematical critical thinking skills. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of mathematic teaching materials on mathematical critical thinking skilss. The research method used in this study is experimental research, namely those obtained from observations, questionnaires and tests. The participants in this research were grade VI students of SMPN 2 Kertasari which consisted of 2 classes. The data analysis used in this research is descriptive analysis. The results of the study show three parts of effectiveness, namely the effectiveness of interaction showing 61% results with a moderately effective category, the effectiveness of understanding which shows 59% results in the moderately effective category and the effectiveness of teaching materials on mathematical critical thinking skills showing 62% results in the moderately effective category. Therefore, the use of mathematics teaching materials on mathematical critical thinking skills is quite good in its delivery and implementation.

The purpose of this study was to determine the extent to which students solve problems in mathematical understanding skills in statistics material. The method in this study is descriptive qualitative and data collection is given 3-point statistics questions in the form of descriptions. The research subjects were class VIII which amounted to 6 people. The results of the researcher's analysis show that mathematical understanding ability is still low in statistics material. Some of the difficulties experienced by students are that students still have difficulty reading the questions given, students' ability to understand the problem is still lacking, students' difficulty in writing the formula given, students' lack of accuracy in prerequisite material, students answer questions carelessly, so students do not solve the problem correctly. Difficulties in this study can be caused by students not paying attention to the teacher's explanation and even still lacking accuracy in understanding the problem, reading questions in the form of description questions, the way students think about mathematics comprehension skills is still difficult. Therefore, it is necessary to have an improvement and follow-up in future research to improve students' mathematical understanding ability in statistics material or better yet, it can replace other materials.

The ability to think critically is currently one of the abilities that students need to have because with the ability to think critically in students can improve the quality of education in Indonesia, with this statement this research was conducted with the aim of describing the critical thinking skills of junior high school students using a problem-based learning model on quadratic equation material. This type of research is in the form of descriptive research with qualitative methods. This research was located at SMPN 3 Cimahi with 9 subjects who had high, medium and low abilities in critical thinking covering 3 classes. The data collection technique was carried out by providing 4 description questions and interviews to the subjects. Data analysis techniques in research refer to qualitative data analysis according to Miles and Huberman. The results of the study were measured based on indicators of critical thinking skills according to Facion (2015) where, 67% of students were able to interpret, 58% of students were able to analyze, 72% of students were able to evaluate, and 69% of students were able to infer so that it could be concluded that there was a significant influence of the problem-based learning model on critical thinking skills.
