Abstract

The chapters in the history of Islamic civilization by historians are divided into classical, medieval, and modern periods. Islamic civilization itself is a civilization that spread widely to various regions, including the Persian region. Persia in its history deviates many relics that show how Islam is dynamic in each era. This article was written using a qualitative descriptive approach by describing the literature study method. From the results of the discussion, it is known that Islamic civilization in Persia is dynamic, and most of the relics left by the Shafavid dynasty. In addition, in the later period, Persian identification with Shia (teachings) became attached to each other as a result of the dynamics of Islam in this region.

Abstract

Background: The rapid advancement of digital technology has significantly transformed various aspects of human life, including Islamic jurisprudence (fiqh). As a discipline that provides legal guidance for Muslims, fiqh must continuously adapt to new challenges brought by digitalization. This study examines how fiqh evolves in response to contemporary digital developments and their implications for Islamic law and daily Muslim practices. Methods: This research employs a qualitative descriptive method, utilizing primary and secondary sources from print and electronic media related to fiqh in the digital era. Data were collected through literature review, analyzed using thematic categorization, and validated through triangulation to ensure reliability and contextual accuracy. Findings: The study reveals that fiqh remains dynamic and flexible in addressing modern challenges such as online transactions, artificial intelligence in financial decision-making, and ethical concerns in social media usage. While technology provides convenience, it also raises new fiqh-related questions requiring scholarly ijtihad. Additionally, the digital era has influenced the process of issuing and disseminating fatwas, necessitating innovative approaches to maintain their validity and authority. Conclusion: Fiqh in the digital era must balance technological advancements with core Islamic principles. The role of scholars and fatwa institutions is crucial in ensuring that digital transformation aligns with sharia guidelines. Continuous adaptation is essential to preserve the relevance of Islamic law in modern society. Novelty/Originality of this article: This study uniquely highlights how fiqh interacts with emerging digital challenges, emphasizing its importance in guiding Muslims to integrate technological advancements within Islamic ethical and legal frameworks.

Abstract

Digital tourism has grown rapidly with the advancement of information and communication technology, allowing tourists to explore destinations through digital media. One of the new trends in this field is the use of video games as a tool for tourism exploration and promotion. Some games, such as Assassin's Creed, present representations of real cities or fictional worlds that influence tourists' perceptions and encourage their interest in visiting related locations. However, there are still few studies that discuss in depth how experiences in video games can influence tourists' decisions in choosing tourist destinations. Therefore, this article aims to analyze the role of video games in shaping digital tourism trends and their impact on the tourism industry more broadly. This study uses a qualitative method with a literature review approach that includes an analysis of various literature related to digital tourism and the influence of video games on tourist destinations. Data sources consist of scientific journals, books, and research reports that are relevant to the topic. The results of the study show that video games can be an effective tourism marketing tool and provide an immersive virtual tourism experience through virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) technology. In addition to opening up new economic opportunities in the tourism sector, video games can also reduce the impact of overtourism by providing alternative digital tourism. However, there are challenges in the accuracy of cultural representation and technological accessibility. Therefore, collaboration between the tourism industry and game developers is needed to create inclusive, authentic and sustainable digital experiences.

Abstract

Pendidikan memiliki peran strategis dalam membangun sumber daya manusia yang berkualitas, terutama melalui pendidikan formal di perguruan tinggi, termasuk Perguruan Tinggi Kedinasan (PTK). PTK menjadi pilihan menarik bagi banyak siswa karena menyediakan pendidikan berbasis ikatan dinas yang menjamin karir setelah lulus. Namun, proses seleksi masuk PTK sangat kompetitif dan membutuhkan persiapan intensif. Berdasarkan kebutuhan tersebut, tim pengabdi bekerja sama dengan lembaga bimbingan belajar di Kota Pekalongan melaksanakan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat berupa pelatihan untuk menghadapi seleksi PTK, khususnya dalam mengerjakan soal Tes Wawasan Kebangsaan (TWK).Tujuan utama kegiatan ini adalah membantu siswa SMA/sederajat mempersiapkan diri menghadapi seleksi masuk PTK dengan memberikan pelatihan intensif terkait jenis soal TWK dan strategi penyelesaiannya. Kegiatan dilakukan melalui seminar dan pelatihan interaktif yang melibatkan diskusi, metode tanya-jawab, dan latihan soal. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan antusiasme tinggi dari peserta, yang tercermin melalui partisipasi aktif dalam pelatihan. Peserta memperoleh pemahaman yang lebih baik tentang materi TWK, teknik menjawab soal, dan strategi menghadapi ujian secara efisien. Dampak kegiatan ini tidak hanya terlihat dari peningkatan kemampuan akademik peserta, tetapi juga pada penguatan mentalitas, disiplin, dan rasa percaya diri mereka. Selain itu, kolaborasi antara tim pengabdi dan mitra menciptakan ekosistem pembelajaran yang mendukung keberlanjutan program serupa di masa depan, dengan harapan mencetak generasi muda yang siap menghadapi tantangan pendidikan dan karir di PTK

Abstract

Conflict and culture are two inseparable elements in the history of human civilization. Throughout history, conflict has often emerged as a result of differences in values, ideologies, and interests, but culture has often been a bridge that has made peace possible. This study aims to explore the relationship between conflict and culture, and to analyze how culture can act as a tool for transforming conflict into sustainable peace. The method used in this writing is qualitative analysis with a historical and sociological approach. Data were collected from various academic literature, case studies, and relevant historical documents. The results of the writing show that culture has an important role in creating cross-group understanding, building dialogue, and creating empathy. Elements such as art, tradition, language, and universal values ​​are often effective media in reducing tensions. Case studies of conflicts in various regions show that culture-based initiatives, such as cultural diplomacy, collective art, and cross-cultural education programs, have a positive impact on reducing conflict and building peace. The implication of this research is the need to strengthen the role of culture in diplomacy and conflict resolution efforts. Global policies that are more oriented towards cultural dialogue can be a key strategy for creating harmony amidst diversity.

Abstract

In the era of digital information disruption, media, both conventional and digital, significantly shapes political communication and voter behavior through agenda setting, framing, and information dissemination. This study aims to explore how media influences voters’ political perceptions and decisions, while addressing challenges and proposing solutions for effective political communication in the digital age. Employing a qualitative approach with a literature review method, this research analyzes data extracted from various credible sources, including scholarly articles and public media, using content analysis to derive new insights. The findings reveal that media directs public attention and shapes voter preferences, with social media amplifying participation but also exacerbating polarization and disinformation due to algorithmic biases and political buzzers. Media literacy emerges as crucial for fostering critical information analysis, alongside responsible media practices and ethical political campaigns. The study concludes that collaboration among media, politicians, academics, and civil society is essential to maintain journalistic integrity, enhance digital literacy, and ensure transparent regulations, fostering a healthy democratic ecosystem. By addressing these challenges, political communication can support informed voter decisions and strengthen democracy in the digital era.

Abstract

Pendidikan memiliki peran krusial dalam membentuk kualitas sumber daya manusia, yang menuntut peningkatan pembelajaran melalui supervisi akademik. Supervisi akademik tidak sekadar pengawasan, tetapi juga strategi peningkatan keterampilan mengajar guru dan menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang lebih baik. Metode penulisan yang digunakan dalam kajian ini adalah studi literatur yang mengkaji berbagai teori dan konsep yang berkaitan dengan supervisi akademik. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa supervisi akademik yang diterapkan dengan strategi yang tepat dapat meningkatkan profesionalisme guru dan hasil belajar siswa. Implikasi dari kajian ini menekankan pentingnya implementasi kebijakan supervisi akademik yang lebih fleksibel dan berbasis bukti, guna mendukung perkembangan profesional guru. Refleksi terhadap PERMENPAN 21 Tahun 2024 juga menunjukkan bahwa reformasi jabatan fungsional guru dapat memperkuat sistem pendidikan, meskipun membutuhkan kesiapan infrastruktur dan dukungan kebijakan yang lebih matang. Kajian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi referensi bagi pemangku kepentingan pendidikan dalam mengembangkan strategi supervisi akademik yang lebih efektif dan inovatif.

Abstract

Konflik sosial merupakan fenomena yang inheren dalam dinamika masyarakat dan telah menjadi fokus utama dalam kajian sosiologi. Salah satu pemikir yang memberikan kontribusi besar dalam teori konflik adalah Karl Marx, yang menekankan bahwa ketimpangan sosial terjadi akibat adanya dominasi kelas borjuis terhadap kelas proletar dalam sistem kapitalisme. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif berbasis studi pustaka, artikel ini mengkaji konsep konflik sosial dalam pemikiran Karl Marx serta relevansinya dalam konteks masyarakat modern. Marx berpendapat bahwa kapitalisme menciptakan eksploitasi tenaga kerja dan mempertajam ketimpangan ekonomi, sehingga konflik kelas menjadi suatu keniscayaan. Konflik ini, menurutnya, akan mencapai puncaknya dalam revolusi sosial yang berujung pada pembentukan masyarakat tanpa kelas di mana alat produksi dimiliki secara kolektif. Kajian ini menunjukkan bahwa pemikiran Marx tetap relevan dalam menganalisis ketimpangan sosial kontemporer, meskipun kapitalisme telah mengalami transformasi signifikan dengan hadirnya ekonomi digital dan globalisasi. Keterbatasan penelitian ini terletak pada kurangnya eksplorasi terhadap respons teori sosial lainnya terhadap gagasan Marx, sehingga diperlukan kajian lebih lanjut yang mengaitkan teori konflik dengan realitas sosial yang lebih luas. Dengan demikian, pemikiran Marx tetap menjadi landasan penting dalam memahami dinamika perubahan sosial, namun perlu dikontekstualisasikan agar tetap relevan dalam menghadapi tantangan masyarakat modern.
