Abstract

Termites play important roles in organic matter decomposition, nutrient cycling, and soil structure in tropical rain forests. When forests are replaced by agriculture, termite species richness, abundance, and function often decline. This research was aimed to determine diversity and composition of termites in three land use types (community forest, simple and complex agroforestry). The method used in this study is collecting termites sampled on transects measuring 2 x 100 m, divided into 20 sections (2 x 5 m). The collected samples were collected for identification purposes. Variables measured the diversity of termites which includes the type and number of species (species richness) found in each land use. Diversity and abundance of species of termites were analyzed using the Shannon Diversity Index-Wienner (Shannon & Weaver, 1994 in Magurran, 2004). The results showed that the total number of termite species founded in both area was 6 species comprising 2 families, i.e; termitidae and rhinotermitidae. Alpha diversity of termite founded in community forest was 4 species, and 5 species founded in complex agroforestry and 3 species founded in simple agroforestry. The highest frequency of termite species was 0,5 that achieved by Odontotermes sp in community forest and simple agroforestry, while the lowest frequency was 0,05 that achieved by Schedorhinotermes sp. in community forest. Further, the Shannon species diversity Index (H’) of each land use types were 0,93, 0,95 and 1,47 in simple agroforestry, community forest and complex agroforestry, respectively. Abstract

Coconut waste has significant potential to be developed into value-added products through diversification. Polewali Mandar Regency, known for its coconut and traditional Mandar oil production, faces challenges in the optimal utilization of coconut waste and in scaling up sales of Mandar oil through improved packaging techniques. This training aims to enhance the knowledge and skills of the community in utilizing the abundant coconut resources and improving the quality and marketability of products through better packaging techniques. The methods employed include lectures, demonstrations, discussions, and are concluded with evaluations to measure the success of the activities. Evaluation results indicate a significant improvement in the knowledge and skills of community partners. The material presented during the service program was well-received by the partners, and they were highly interactive, as evidenced by the numerous questions raised during the discussion session, leading to a two-way dialogue. Providing equipment support to the partners has positively impacted their enthusiasm to develop their businesses further, enhancing product quality that is competitive with other coconut-based products. Thus, the implementation of coconut waste product diversification and the improvement of Mandar oil packaging techniques in Polewali Mandar holds potential as a solution to improve the economic welfare of the local community.

Abstract

Pantai Lalos merupakan salah satu tempat rekreasi menikmati sunset di Kabupaten Tolitoli yang selalu menjadi andalan warga Tolitoli untuk berlibur bersama keluarga. Pariwisata andalan Tolitoli sudah tidak diragukan lagi adalah pantainya. Salah satu pantai yang dibanggakan masyarakat Tolitoli adalah Lalos. Pantai Lalos terletak di kecamatan Galang. Kultur Tolitoli sejatinya lekat dengan alam, tapi sayang kondisinya tercoreng oleh sampah. Kondisi itu juga menimpa sejumlah laut di Tolitoli. Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat  (PKM) ini dilaksanakan pada tanggal 21 Maret 2022.  Bertempat di Pantai Lalos, Kecamatan Galang, Kabupaten Tolitoli, Sulawesi Tengah.  Prosedur  pelaksanaan kegiatan ini dilakukan secara bergotong-royong oleh mahasiswa/i peserta KKN dalam membersihkan sampah-sampah yang ada di bibir pantai lalos. Dari hasil survey di pantai lalos ternyata masih banyak warga dan pengunjung pantai yang kurang menyadari pentingnya  kebersiahan.  Oleh karena itu kami  mahasiswa/i KKN antusias untuk mengambil pantai lalos sebagai objek dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dalam bentuk bakti sosial.Kata kunci : Pantai lalos. Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of halal labels on the purchase decision of cosmetic products mediated by the religiosity of the empirical evidence of BKMT South Sulawesi. The type of research used was quantitative to collect data from Muslim entrepreneurs with a questionnaire and analyzed using the Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Modelin. The findings of this study are that there is a significant relationship between the influence of halal labels on purchase decisions, halal labels on and regiliusity and there is a significant influence of religiosity on purchase decisions. This research can also provide deeper insights into the preferences of consumers who pay attention to the halal aspects of the products they buy

Abstract

Sumberdaya manusia merupakan satu aset yang paling berharga yang dimiliki oleh suatu instansi, organisasi atau perusahaan, karena keberadaannya sangat menentukan terhadap dinamisasi mobilisasi perusahaan. Bagaimana karakteristik individu mempunyai pengaruh terhadap Motivasi kerja dan kinerja karyawan CV.Ainun Batara Guru dan Bagaimana lingkungan kerja mempunyai pengaruh terhadap Motivasi kerja dan kinerja karyawan CV.Ainun Batara Guru. Dalam penelitian ini peneliti menyebarkan kuisioner sebanyak 30 responden yang disebarkan secara random ke karyawan/pekerja CV. Ainun Batara Guru. Menggunakan metode Kuantitatif dan didapatkan hasil Terdapat pengaruh Lingkungan Kerja terhadap motivasi kerja dan kinerja karyawan, Terdapat pengaruh karakteristik individu terhadap motivasi kerja dan kinerja karyawan, Terdapat pengaruh secara simultan lingkungan kerja dan karakreristik individu terhadap motivasi kerja dan kinerja. Dengan kesimpulan bahwa terdapat pengaruh lingkungan kerja dan karakteristik individu terhadap motivasi kerja dan kinerja karyawan pada CV.Ainun Batara Guru serta Lingkungan kerja dan karakteristik individu memberikan pengaruh secara bersama terhadap motivasi kerja yaitu sebesar 24,3% dan kinerja sebesar 28,3%. Human resources are one of the most valuable assets owned by an agency, organization, or company because their existence is crucial to the dynamics of company mobilization. How do individual characteristics have an influence on work motivation and employee performance of CV. Ainun Batara Guru and how the work environment has an influence on work motivation and employee performance of CV. Ainun Batara Guru. In this study, researchers distributed questionnaires to as many as 30 respondents who were distributed randomly to employees/employees of CV. Ainun Batara Guru. Using quantitative methods and the results obtained There is an influence of the work environment on work motivation and employee performance, there is an influence of individual characteristics on work motivation and employee performance, and there is a simultaneous influence on work environment and individual characteristics on work motivation and performance. The conclusion is that there is an influence of the work environment and individual characteristics on work motivation and employee performance at CV. Ainun Batara Guru and the work environment and individual characteristics have a joint influence on work motivation, namely at 24.3%, and performance at 28.3%.
