Abstract

The flow of progressivism is the basic foundation to build the foundation in the application of character education. The flow of progressivism philosophy brings a concept of change in order to develop potential, and provide solutions for problem solving which we can later apply to design various types of basic values of character education in formal educational institutions in Indonesia. This study has the intent and purpose to explain how the concept of implementing character education in formal educational institutions in the study of the philosophy of progressivism. The method used is Literature Review. The references used were obtained from databases published in Indonesian journals in 2018-2022. The results of this study (1) Indonesian education is currently related to the concept of progressivism, starting from the implementation of an independent curriculum that is relevant to the concept of progressivism according to John Dewey; (2) the application of the flow of progressivism in character education can be done by providing examples/examples from the teacher to students, because the character and personality of the teacher can reflect the character and personality of the students themselves; (3) students are given guidance and accompanied by teachers according to their ability to develop themselves so that a great and strong character is formed.

Abstract

Forming character in the world of education is an initial effort that is structured and programmed to train and develop students' abilities in instilling and familiarizing commendable behavior. This research technique uses a Literature Review study. References for this writing come from journals, papers, and articles from 2018 to 2022. The results of this experiment are: 1). The development of character education in Indonesia has started since the preschool age 0-6 years and the school age 6-13 years through the development of the K.13 Curriculum by developing the goals of core competencies, namely the competence of spiritual attitudes, social attitudes, knowledge, and skills. 2). Creating a student's personality must instill three keys to education, namely parents, the world of education, and the public. 3). In applying the philosophy of education in schools, teachers should strengthen morals to students, as taught by the figures of Indonesian Education philosophy, namely "Ing Ngarso Sung Tulodo, Ing Madyo Mangun Karso, Tut Wuri Handayani". That is, a leader must be able to position himself as a role model or example, a balancer, and as a motivator.

Abstract

The Philosophy of Social Studies Education is not much different from other philosophies of educational sciences, because the philosophy of Social Studies Education is also an educational philosophy that discusses the actions of social science education aimed at making individuals or students able to understand social problems and be able to overcome them and be able to make the right decisions about the problems faced in their lives. The method used in this study is Literature Review. The role of educational philosophy can provide thoughts or ideas, namely stating educational goals for citizens, providing appropriate and clear instructions by asking questions about educational regulations and practices in the outdoor environment using clues from the ideas / concepts of educators.

Abstract

The decline in ethics has occurred all around us, whether from school institutions or the community has received a lot of public attentio. Many cases occur and we can know that one of them is an event that occurs between educators and students, the incident even to the point of sacrificing human souls. Therefore,This study explains the ethics of educators and students based on the perspective of Imam al-Ghazali. By using several literature sources, produces literature results in the amount of 8 articles, 1 thesis, and 6 theses. This study uses the SLR method (systematic literature review).Literature sources were obtained from the Google Scholar database and the Garuda Portal in 2018-2022. The results of this study produce several ethics of educators and students based on the perspective of Imam al-Ghazali,which is useful as a guide for educators and students as well as its implementation in society.

Abstract

Philosophy of science as a basic knowledge has a relationship between aspects of ontology, epistemology, and axiology. The means of scientific thinking in philosophy include language, logic, mathematics, and statistics. Mathematics as a means of scientific thinking that includes numbers, algebra, geometry, calculus, and analysis. In activities in everyday life, people are often not aware of the many mathematical concepts that are applied. Human activities that are still ongoing today give rise to a habit in society that becomes culture. The integration that bridges between culture and mathematics through learning mathematics in everyday life in a certain cultural group is called ethnomathematics. This study was a Study Literature Review (SLR) of 15 articles with the aim of describing ethnomathematics from the perspective of the philosophy. Ethnomathematics is basically a way of individuals or groups of people expressing the relationship between mathematical ideas and concepts and the culture of a particular group. Ethnomathematics is essentially the expression by individuals or groups of people of the connection between a particular group's culture and mathematical ideas and concepts. There are six basic activities related to mathematical concepts, namely counting, measuring, finding locations, designing, playing, and explaining. The role of ethnomathematics includes facilities for cultural community groups in carrying out their cultural activities; ethnomathematics becomes a forum for building national character; ethnomathematics contains mathematical ideas as the first step in contextual learning that is associated with mathematical content with the sociocultural experience of an individual.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menemukan nilai rasionalitas yang terlihat pada karakter Sophie Amundsen dan untuk mengetahui bagaimana nilai rasionalitas tersebut mendefinisikan karakternya. Metode Systematic Literature Review (SLR) digunakan untuk mengklasifikasikan penelitian ini sebagai penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Informasi tersebut berasal dari novel Jostein Gaarder "Dunia Sophie". Suwardi Endraswara dan Ranjabar, selain Socrates, Plato, dan Descartes yang rasionalis, dimasukkan ke dalam teori rasionalitas yang digunakan dalam penyelidikan ini. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa novel "Sophie's World" mempromosikan rasionalitas melalui penalaran, skeptisisme, dan kesepakatan. Alasan Sophie adalah nilai rasionalitas yang paling menonjol. Dengan menerima pelajaran filosofisnya ketika dia menerima kursus filosofinya, Sophie menunjukkan keterampilan penalarannya. Karakter Sophie berubah sebagai hasil dari penalarannya. Ia belajar berpikir kritis, rasional, logis, dan sistematis melalui filsafat. Alhasil, Sophie Amundsen tampil sebagai sosok yang dinamis. Dari tiga kelebihan kewarasan, Sophie Amundsen adalah seseorang yang terlihat lebih pintar, ragu-ragu, dan memiliki pemahaman tentang perspektif orang lain yang membuatnya lebih cerdas.

Abstract

In the 21st century In the current development of technology and information, students must have basic skills. Critical thinking skills are one of these basic abilities. This article examines the axiology of reasoning ability and how education can benefit from it. This will allow educators to realize their ability to produce students who are skilled in line with their training objectives in the future. The consequences of writing concentrating on decisive reasoning abilities are found in axiological reviews, especially the reasoning abilities that are determined to be arranged consistently. will be a trend, so that when students are in a problem, they can make choices quickly, appropriate, and productive. Students will be able to compete in the globalization era thanks to these critical thinking skills.

Abstract

Philosophy is one of the many sciences that examines how to find answers, truth and nature in seeking the truth of various things. Philosophy has several aspects, including parts of philosophy, epistemology, and axiology. Ontology itself in philosophy relates to the benefits and for what role science has a role in human life. Science is a tool and a way to seek the truth so that humans can easily experience development and progress towards a better direction. Because every human being requires information to have the option to adjust, science is a provision that assumes a vital part in human existence the surrounding environment.

Abstract

This article aims to examine from the ontological aspect the role of the school principal on teacher performance. Literature review is the method used in this study where data collection was carried out using articles collected from 2017 to 2022. The reference articles were 15 national articles obtained from Google Scholar with the search "transformational leadership" and "teacher performance". The theoretical benefit of this article is to increase knowledge on the ontology of transformational leadership and teacher performance, then the practical benefit of this article can be used as a reference for further research. The conclusion in this article is that transformational leadership plays a major role in teacher performance.

Abstract

The philosophy of education is the product of deep thought and meditation upon education. Philosophy is the way out and education follows it and the problems of education can be answered using philosophy. The goal of research is to describe dsara's school knowledge with educational philosophy. The author compiled the data into a journal article. ranging from 2018 to 2022. Home-schooled results from the Google schoolar electronic database. May result in the importance of the implanting of a elementary school philosophy of education that becomes a formal school education that makes a child a guiding child in his or her stages of life.
