Abstract

Andalas Jaya building company is engaged in the sale of building goods or materials and transactions carried out every day are quite large, in their activities of course they require an accurate information system to make it easier to make sales transactions and record stock of goods. Making this sales and purchase information system using the Visual Studio Code program and for the database using MySQL. Researchers consider that operational activities at the Andalas Jaya Building Company are still carried out manually. Therefore, the researcher will design a Point of Sales website system to help Andalas Jaya Building Company by conducting qualitative research to get conclusions from the required sales website system. In realizing the creation of a good Point of Sales system website, researchers took the first steps such as making a system design consisting of architectural design, use case diagrams, activity diagrams, entity relationship diagrams, interface designs, website menu structures, and system implementation. With the creation of a Point of Sales website at the Andalas Jaya Building Company, it is hoped that it can help the business transaction process become more effective and efficient for further researchers to add different features.

Abstract

The development of information technology in this era of globalization is very rapid. Especially smartphone. The use of this smartphone can be applied to other applications, for example, a learning application for testing water content with the gravimetric method. Water content testing is one of the important chemical laboratory test methods in the food industry to determine the quality and resistance of food to damage that may occur. The gravimetric method is one of analytical chemistry in chemistry that serves to determine the quantity of a substance and component that is already known by measuring the weight of the component after going through a separation in a pure state. This research was conducted using qualitative methods. The system design of this study is described in the form of an interface design, and the Unified Modeling Language (UML). The results of this system research in the form of a Gravimetric System application that can assist the course of gravimetric testing. The design of this system is also described in the form of a program guide that will explain the functions and features available. This research resulted in an application for water content testing tools with an android-based gravimetric method that can assist in the definition of the material and the simulation of this test.

Abstract

Malaria adalah penyakit yang ditularkan oleh nyamuk betina Anopheles. Deteksi dini penyakit ini umumnya dilakukan menggunakan teknik mikroskopis pada sel darah merah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mencari metode Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) berbasis arsitektur pretrained machine learning yang paling optimal untuk mendeteksi parasit malaria dalam citra darah mikroskopis. Kami membandingkan performa dua arsitektur CNN, yaitu EfficientNetV2S dan ConvNeXtBase, dengan menggunakan dataset yang terdiri dari 27.588 citra sel darah merah manusia, yang terbagi menjadi dua kategori: Parasitized dan Uninfected. Model dilatih dengan dua pengaturan learning rate: minimum (0,0001) dan maksimum (0,001). Evaluasi kinerja model dilakukan menggunakan confusion matrix untuk membandingkan performa dan stabilitas kedua metode dalam klasifikasi citra. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa EfficientNetV2S dengan learning rate minimum (0,0001) berhasil mencapai akurasi validasi tertinggi sebesar 96%, sedangkan ConvNeXtBase hanya mencapai akurasi maksimal sebesar 68%. Selain akurasi yang lebih tinggi, model EfficientNetV2S juga menunjukkan efisiensi komputasi yang lebih baik, sehingga menjadi pilihan yang lebih tepat untuk tugas deteksi malaria berbasis deep learning. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa model arsitektur EfficientNetV2S dengan learning rate minimum merupakan pendekatan yang efektif untuk mendeteksi dini infeksi malaria dalam citra sel darah merah. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa teknologi deep learning memiliki potensi besar dalam membantu deteksi dini penyakit malaria. Penelitian lebih lanjut diperlukan untuk meningkatkan performa model atau mengeksplorasi metode alternatif untuk deteksi malaria.

Abstract

The rapid development of technology in the era of Industry 4.0 has made various internet uses essential to fulfill several needs. This includes systems that can assist in the business sector. With the advancement of technology, it greatly aids daily life. The research aims to develop a web-based application to calculate transactions and stock in business. This application can display information related to sales figures, reports, and data management of goods that are user-friendly for business practitioners. The system to calculate transactions and stock can be applied to assist the sales business process. It provides information about available items so that business practitioners can sell goods and view transaction data. This web-based system is operated through a website and uses the internet as a platform to manage and store available data. Researchers used qualitative field research methods to collect profile data and information about the current running systems as supporting elements in application development. For application design, researchers used Visual Studio Code software, which can be used to create websites using programming languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The system development method applied is the prototype method. This method was chosen by researchers as it is suitable and meets the needs of the system to be developed. The final result of this research is a web-based application for calculating transactions and stock in the sales process at Yamaha Anugerah Motor. The designed application features displaying information about managing goods and categories, as well as conducting transactions that are directly recorded in sales reports. With this system, one can track transactions and stock levels. Data management for goods is computerized, and reports about transactions and stock can be printed easily. It also facilitates easy restocking of goods.

Abstract

In this advanced digital age, with the many advances in digital technology and its increasing adoption along with the pace of globalization bringing a large and fast-paced economy, however, all that changed after the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic, where after the economic slowdown drastically caused all aspects of people's lives to also change drastically, all of this indicates how important it is for digitalization to be adopted in every layer of people's lives. Smart home is a combined application of technology and services that are specialized in the home environment with certain functions aimed at increasing security, efficiency and comfort, smart home includes a digital-based security system that adds a level of security in the neighborhood with greater reliability in guarding the entrance. This field research (Qualitative Method) that uses unstructured interviews, observation, literature study, and documentation. As a data collection technique this unstructured interview is from the family. The system development method is based on information obtained from interviewee. The smart door lock in smart home system detects human faces caught by the camera, then compares the face with the one that has been registered before if the same then it will be given access by opening the lock for 20 seconds otherwise it will continue to lock with RGB lights turning red indicating that the person is not recognized by the system, The system can be controlled by a web application that can be accessed using a computer or cellphone. This research is to make a smart home security system to using ESP32 to regulate door access which aims to eliminate human error in maintaining environmental security.

Abstract

Sharing Session activities in the framework of the International Student Creativity Program (PKM) with the theme “AI Transformation in the Digital Age: Challenges and Opportunities for Gen-Z”. This activity is part of the National Leader Forum (NLF) which was held in Palembang on September 13-15, 2024. The main purpose of this activity is to provide an in-depth understanding of the rapid development of artificial intelligence (AI) technology and its impact on the lives of the younger generation, especially Gen-Z. Abstract

Emosi adalah bagian penting dari kehidupan manusia yang membantu kita memahami diri sendiri dan mengekspresikan perasaan. Emosi mencerminkan respons atau reaksi alami pada berbagai situasi yang dihadapi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan Model Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) yang mampu mengenali emosi manusia berdasarkan ekspresi wajah, khususnya pada kategori “Senang”, “Sedih”, “Marah” dan “Netral” dengan fokus pada karyawan setelah bekerja, untuk melihat apakah karyawan menikmati pekerjaannya atau tidak. Dengan menggunakan dataset berisi 2.059 gambar dari platform Kaggle, proses penelitian mencakup tahapan pengumpulan data, pre-processing data, pelatihan data hingga klasifikasi. Model ini dilatih selama 200 epoch dan menghasilkan akurasi sebesar 89,11% dengan performa yang cukup baik untuk kategori emosi “Senang” dan “Marah”. Namun, model masih mengalami kesultan dalam mengenali emosi “Sedih” dan “Netral”, kemungkinan karena kurangnya data pelatihan dan fitur yang belum optimal. Selama pelatihan, akurasi pada training menunjukkan peningkatan yang konsisten, sedangkan validasi sempat fluktuatif sebelum stabil. Analisis hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa model mampu memprediksi emosi dengan probabilitas tinggi, meskipun terdapat kendala dalam generalisasi ke kondisi yang lebih kompleks. Grafik dan evaluasi metriks,seperti precision, recall dan f1-score, menunjukkan adanya ruang untuk perbaikan, terutama dalam pengenalan emosi dengan nilai recall yang rendah. Penelitian ini memiliki potensi signifikan dalam pengenalan emosi melalui ekspresi wajah, yang digunakan untuk memahami emosi yang dialami oleh karyawan. Penelitian ini juga diperlukan pengembangan lebih lanjut guna meningkatkan kemampuan model dalam menangani komplesitas data.

Abstract

Teknologi mengalami perkembangan dan inovasi yang tidak pernah berhenti. Salah satu teknologi yang berkembang sangat pesat adalah teknologi informasi dan komunikasi. Peran teknologi informasi dan komunikasi memegang peranan yang sangat penting dalam segala aspek kehidupan manusia, seperti perdagangan, bisnis, kesehatan, transportasi, hiburan, pendidikan dan lain-lain. Pemanfaatan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi dalam bidang pendidikan diantaranya penggunaan perangkat keras, perangkat lunak maupun sistem informasi berbasis komputer. Berkembangnya perangkat lunak maupun sistem informasi berbasis komputer disebabkan oleh penerapan konsep penyelesaian masalah tingkat tinggi (higher order thinking) supaya masalah menjadi logis, berurutan, teratur dan mudah dipahami oleh orang lain. Alur berpikir secara logis dan berurutan merupakan cara berpikir seperti seorang ilmuwan komputer, dan dikenal dengan istilah computational thinking. Bentuk kegiatan yang dilakukan dalam kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah Traning of Trainer (ToT) pembekalan bagi guru dalam proses pembelajaran kepada siswa. Kegiatan telah dilaksanakan pada tanggal 30 September 2021 bertempat di Sekolah . Kegiatan diikuti oleh 30 orang peserta. Setelah mengikuti kegiatan, peserta dapat menerapkan computational thinking (CT) dalam proses pembelajaran. Selain itu, peserta juga dapat menularkan konsep computational thinking yang bermuara pada higher order thinking (HOTS) kepada siswa dalam penyelesaian masalah
