Abstract

ABSTRACTBackground: About 80% of cervical cancers are squamous cell carcinomas. After severe surgery for squamous cervical cancer, abdominal metastasis is an uncommon occurrence.Case Presentation: A 33-year-old lady was diagnosed with cervical cancer and had a radical hysterectomy, bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy, and bilateral pelvic lymphadenectomy. The histopathological examination showed non-keratinizing squamous cell carcinoma moderately differentiated. A 6 cm suggestive metastatic mass from abdominal region came up three months later after the surgery. An abdominal wall reconstruction surgery was conducted as the treatment for the metastasis mass.Conclusion: The best course of treatment for cervical cancer is still unknown due to the rarity of abdominal metastases. Depending on the severity of the illness and the existence of metastases, each patient receives a unique course of treatment.Keywords: squamous cell carcinoma, hysterectomy, cervical malignancies

Abstract

Al-Mashum Mardiyah is an Islamic educational institution located at Jalan Simpang Galudra number 76, Cugenang District, Cianjur Regency, West Java, 79.6 KM from the Faculty of Industrial Technology, Jayabaya University. This pesantren was founded because many children in Galudra Village dropped out of school, illiterate and married at a young age even though Galudara Village is not far from Jakarta. This pesantren has a junior high school, high school and vocational school, where graduates from this pesantren are expected to be experts in religion, science and technology based on the Qur'an. SMK Al- Ma'shum Mardiyah has a curriculum about agrotechnology that has an entrepreneurial spirit. The results of discussions with partners at the pesantren, there are problems regarding the production aspect, where the types of products produced by SMK students are still limited. In this PkM which was carried out on July 22 and August 26-30, partners were taught to produce eco-enzymes. The eco-enzyme is made from vegetable waste collected by vocational students around the school. The benefits of this activity are felt by the community because it can increase the type of production. The material presented was understood by 95% of the participants who attended the training

Abstract

Rakyat Indonesia biasa mengkonsumsi beras, sagu, gandum, jagung atau bahan biji-biji lainnya dalam rangka memenuhi kebutuhan gizi mereka. Beras sebagai sumber kalori memiliki pati pada kisaran 85 – 90 %, dimana didominasi oleh karbohidrat yang terdapat pada bagian endosperm dari bulir beras. Air buangan dari hasil cucian beras masih bisa dimanfaatkan karena masih mengandung senyawa karbohidrat, yang siap untuk diolah menjadi produk yang bermanfaat. Penelitian ini bertujuan pembuatan bioethanol dari air cucian beras melalui proses hidrolisa dan fermentasi. Proses hidrolisa pati menggunakan HCl 1N pH larutan 4-5, dengan variasi enzim glukoamilase 1% w/v, 2% w/v, dan 3% w/v. Fermentasi menggunakan Saccharomyces cerevisiae selama variabel waktu 3,4,5,6,7 hari. Hasil Persentase kadar glukosa paling tinggi didapatkan pada hidrolisis dengan kadar enzyme 3% dan kadar bioethanol tertinggi didapat pada waktu fermentasi 7 hari yaitu sebesar 13 %.

Abstract

Waste bank is an activity of non-governmental program to maintain an environment health by separating household waste into organic and non-organic category. Waste bank is managed using a system such as banking conducted by officers.  For Depok city, Waste bank program have a positive impact in declining of waste volume. However, the bank's activities are currently still carried out in the activist’s houses, public services house, and the path of the residential. Infact, waste bank have potency to support Ciliwung ecotourism planning by Depok government. This study uses Kaizen Management and Planning Method for Architectural Design. The result of this research is a schematic design model of Waste Bank building by research of society’s needs for the better environment health.Key words: eco-friendly building, energy saving, green building, waste bank model

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilakukan untuk memberikan pembekalan tentang gaya hidup  sampah minimum (zero waste). Hal ini sejalan dengan yang diajarkan di Pesantren pada umumnya kepada para santri agar hidup sederhana dan senantiasa memberikan manfaat positif kepada lingkungan. Kegiatan ini mengadopsi pola Circular economy dalam mengelola sampah organik di Pesantren dan sampah dari rumah disekitar pesantren yang akan menjadi sumber pendapatan baru selain donatur untuk menutupi biaya operasional yang tinggi. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dirancang menggunakan metode pembelajaran ekspository dengan media gambar agar memberikan pemahaman yang optimal sehingga dapat menciptakan wirausaha muda baru. Kelompok masyarakat yang menjadi target dalam kegiatan ini adalah para santri dan guru di pondok pesantren Riyadhul Huda di Kabupaten Bogor dengan jumlah responden 74 orang. Dari hasil survey didapatkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan dan wawasan peserta tentang zero waste.

Abstract

Abstrak Indonesia merupakan salah satu negara yang terdampak COVID-19, bahkan Indonesia menempati urutan tertinggi di Asia Tenggara sebagai negara dengan kasus COVID-19. Salah satu provinsi di Indonesia yang terdapat banyak kasus positif COVID-19 adalah Jawa Barat. Kecamatan Cibinong merupakan kecamatan terkonfirmasi dengan kasus positif COVID-19 terbanyak. Salah satu kelurahan yang berada di Kecamatan Cibinong adalah Kelurahan Pabuaran Mekar. FTI-UJ selaku instansi pendidikan yang berada di sekitar wilayah Kelurahan Pabuaran Mekar mencoba membantu mempersiapkan dan membekali khususnya warga RT 07/RW 08 Pabuaran Asri yang menjadi percontohan untuk dapat menghidupkan UMKM yang digalakkan Menteri Koperasi dan Usaha Kecil Menengah guna meningkatkan perekonomian masyarakat hingga negara. Terpilihnya tempat ini dikarenakan konsisten dalam mendukung program pemerintah hingga memiliki UMKM dengan izin operasional. Salah satunya, program Dinas Ketahanan Pangan pada September 2020 yang memberikan rak, bibit dan polybag untuk ditanami tanaman pangan organik. Guna menambah pengetahuan warga daerah ini, FTI-UJ bekerja sama dengan Kelurahan Pabuaran Mekar memberikan penyuluhan dan pelatihan dari dasar, pengembangan serta komersil kepada warga bagaimana meningkatkan produktivitas bakmi Pak Coy menggunakan mesin penggiling otomatis.
