Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat berupa bimbingan teknis yang dilakukan bertujuan untuk menambah pengetahuan dan pemahaman mengenai konsep pembuatan bahan ajar yaitu elektronik modul dalam pembelajaran. Bimbingan teknis ini dilakukan di SD Negeri Sungai Miai 7 Banjarmasin melalui kegiatan pemaparan oleh para narasumber, tanya jawab, diskusi antar anggota kelompok, dan praktik langsung dalam membuat elektronik modul. Metode pendekatan yang digunakan adalah metode ceramah, diskusi, tanya jawab, dan praktek pembuatan produk. Capaian luaran yang diharapkan yakni produk berupa elektronik modul sederhana dan artikel yang dipublikasi dalam jurnal PPM. Hasil yang diperoleh dari kegiatan bimbingan teknis adalah tingginya antusian, tingkat keaktifan dan kerjasama antaranggota kelompok.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat berupa bimbingan teknis yang dilakukan bertujuan untuk menambah pengetahuan dan keterampilan guru mengenai konsep pembuatan bahan ajar inovatif berbasis online pada guru sekolah dasar. Selain itu tujuan dari kegiatan bimbingan teknis ini agar peserta dapat merancang bahan pembelajaran berbasis online. Bimbingan teknis ini dilakukan di SD Negeri Berangas Timur 2 Barito Kuala melalui kegiatan pemaparan oleh para narasumber, tanya jawab, diskusi antar anggota kelompok, dan pemberian soal baik itu pretest maupun posttest. Metode pendekatan yang digunakan adalah metode ceramah, diskusi, tanya jawab, dan praktek langsung. Capaian luaran yang diharapkan yakni peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan guru dalam merancang bahan ajar berbasis online dan artikel yang dipublikasi dalam jurnal terakreditasi. Hasil yang didapatkan dalam kegiatan bimbingan teknis ini adalah terdapat peningkatan signifikan terhadap pemahaman dan keterampilan guru terhadap perancangan bahan ajar berbasis online dengan harapan guru dapat memiliki pengetahuann dan  keterampilan pada penggunaan literasi digital khususnya dalam merancang bahan pembelajaran.

Abstract

Kegiatan bimbingan teknis dilaksanakan untuk menambah keterampilan dan kompetensi guru sekolah dasar dalam rangka memberikan pengalaman pembelajaran daring yang menarik dan menyenangkan. Bimbingan teknis dilakukan dengan memberikan pelatihan penggunaan aplikasi Quizizz sebagai salah satu alternatif pembelajaran daring selama pandemi Covid-19. Bimbingan teknis dilakukan dengan mengajarkan kepada guru-guru sekolah dasar SDN Sungai Miai 7 Banjarmasin tentang aplikasi Quizizz. Pelatihan dimulai  dengan langkah-langkah kegiatan seperti pembuatan akun Quizizz, cara menambahkan soal, berbagi soal dengan siswa dan menyimpan penilaian siswa. Pelaksanaan bimbingan teknis dilakukan menggunakan zoom dengan jumlah peserta 17 guru dan dilakukan selama 1 hari. Setelah kegiatan bimbingan, para guru diberikan kesempatan untuk membuat soal-soal dalam Quizizz sesuai materi mereka masing-maisng dan dibagi dalam forum bimbingan teknis. Di akhir proses pelatihan, para guru mengisi kuesioner untuk mengukur keberhasilan pelatihan. Hasil rata-rata nilai pretest sebesar 60,58 dan hasil posttest sebesar 70 yang menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman para guru tentang penggunaan Aplikasi Quizizz sebagai variasi pembelajaran daring dimasa pandemi.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low results of children's language development in the aspect of early literacy in recognizing and imitating (writing by mentioning) letters that are still not developed. The purpose ofthis study is teacher activity, child activity, and child development results in showing children's activities in recognizing and imitating (writing by mentioning) letters. This research approach uses a qualitative approach, the type of research is Classroom Action Research (PTK) which is carried out in 2 cycles. This researchwasconducted at Suka Maju Kindergarten, Lunjuk HST Village for the 2021/2022 school year in group A, which amounted to 12 children consisting of 4 boys and 8 girls. Datacollection techniques are carried out by observation, interviews, performances, and evaluation through LKPD. The results showed that teacher activity obtained very good categories, children's activities obtained very active categories, the results of the development of aspec early literacy aspects obtained categories developed as expected (BSH) and developed very well (BSB). The conclusion of this study is the use of cooperative learning models, Montessori game methods  and sandpaper letters media in  developing aspects of early literacy (recognizing and imitating) in group A children of Suka Maju Kindergarten Lunjuk HST Village.

Abstract

The problem in this research is the low activity and learning outcomes of students at SDN Kelayan Selatan 3. The purpose of this research is to describe teacher activities, analyze student activities and student learning outcomes. This study uses a qualitative approach with the type of Classroom Action Research (CAR), with 4 meetings. The setting for this research was fourth semester students at SDN Kelayam Selatan 3 for the academic year 2022/2023. The results of the research that has been carried out show that teacher activity at meeting 1 reaches 75% of the "Good" criteria and always increases so that at meeting 4 it reaches 100% of the "Very Good" criteria. Student activity at meeting 1 reached 82%, and increased at meeting 4 reached 100%. The classical completeness of student learning outcomes at meeting 1 reached 48% and also increased until meeting 4 reached 100%. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that teacher activities, student activities and learning outcomes in using the PINTAR model have been carried out in accordance with the model steps.

Abstract

The problem of this research is the low level of speaking skills which affects students' activities and learning outcomes in Indonesian language content. The purpose of this study is to describe teacher activities, analyze activities, speaking skills, and student learning outcomes. This research used Classroom Action Research (CAR) and was conducted in 4 meetings. The subjects of this research were fifth grade students. Qualitative data collection was obtained from the results and tests. Data analysis in this study used qualitative and quantitative techniques. The results of this study showed that the teacher's activity received a score of 32 with very good criteria, student activity increased to 100% with the criteria that all students were active, students' speaking skills increased to the criteria that all students were skilled, students' cognitive learning outcomes increased to 100%, affective learning outcomes increased to 90%, and psychomotor learning outcomes increased to 90%. Based on the results of this study, it is concluded that the PURUN model (Problem Based Learning, Picture and picture, and Time Token) can improve students' speaking skills.

Abstract

The problem in this research is the low critical thinking skills and students' learning motivation. This is due to one-way learning, lack of use of learning models and media, and students' lack of understanding of the learning material. To overcome this problem, a combination of PBL, Talking Stick and Demonstration Methods is used. This research aims to analyze the critical thinking skills and learning motivation of fifth grade students at SDN Kelayan Selatan 6 Banjarmasin on science learning content. This research used the Classroom Action Research method, which involved fifth semester class students at SDN Kelayan Selatan 6 Banjarmasin in 2023/2024, with a total of 12 students. The research results showed that critical thinking skills at the first meeting reached a percentage of 25%, at the second meeting 50%, at the third meeting 67%, and at the fourth meeting reached 83% in the highly skilled category. In learning motivation, the first meeting obtained a score of 33%, the second meeting 58%, the third meeting 67%, and the fourth meeting achieved 100% in the very high category. It can be concluded that students' critical thinking skills and learning motivation in science learning using the PBL, Talking Stick and Demonstration Method learning models at SDN Kelayan Selatan 6 Banjarmasin are stated to have increased

Abstract

This research aims to address the issues of low student engagement, insufficient reading comprehension skills, and low learning outcomes in the fourth-grade class of SDN Juran Tabalong. These issues are attributed to the lack of student-centered teaching practices, monotonous and unengaging lessons, and suboptimal reading activities. Therefore, the proposed solution is to use a combined approach of the PELITA model in the teaching process. The objective of this research is to describe the teacher's activities and analyze the improvement of student engagement and the learning outcomes of reading comprehension skills. This research adopts the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method, conducted over four learning sessions in the fourth-grade class of SDN Juran Tabalong with the participation of 19 students. The data collected are analyzed through observations of both teacher and student activities, as well as the results of reading comprehension skills. Data analysis is carried out using a descriptive approach, and the results are presented in tables and graphs, then interpreted based on the predetermined criteria for each indicator of teacher activity, student activity, and the achievement of learning mastery in reading comprehension skills, both individually and as a group. The results of this research indicate that the teacher's activities implemented have received a score of 28, with an assessment of "excellent." Overall, the student activities in the class have also shown significant improvement, reaching 100% with an assessment of "very active." Furthermore, the students' reading comprehension skills have also experienced a notable increase, reaching 100% with an assessment of "very skillful." The cognitive learning outcomes of the students have improved overall, reaching 100% with an assessment of "mastery." The improvement in the affective learning outcomes of the students has reached 100% with the achievement of the mastery criteria. Likewise, the psychomotor learning outcomes have seen an increase of 100% with the attainment of the mastery criteria. Based on the findings of this research, it can be concluded that the use of the PELITA model is effective in enhancing students' reading comprehension skills in the fourth-grade class of SDN Juran Tabalong.

Abstract

The issue emphasized in this study is the lack of student participation in activities and limited learning achievements. The root of this problem lies in the insufficient focus on students in the learning process, low student engagement in activities, and limited academic performance. Therefore, one of the steps to enhance engagement and learning achievements is through the implementation of problem-based learning models, Think Pair Share, and Picture and Picture. The purpose of this research is to depict the activities of educators and students, as well as to analyze the learning achievements of the students. The approach utilized in this research is a qualitative approach with the type of Classroom Action Research, carried out over four sessions. The focus group of this research comprises students from Class IV of SDN TANJUNG PAGAR 3 in the Academic Year 2023/2024, totaling 33 students. The method of analysis employed involves observation, while data regarding students' learning achievements are obtained through assessment, which is subsequently analyzed using descriptive approaches and illustrated in the form of tables and diagrams. The research findings indicate that in the first meeting, educators' activities reached the "Fairly Good" level of assessment, which then improved to the "Very Good" level in the fourth meeting. Student engagement also increased, starting from the "Fairly Active" level in the first meeting and reaching the "Very Active" level in the fourth meeting. Classical completeness in student learning outcomes increased from 63.64% in the first meeting to 100% in the fourth meeting.

Abstract

Indonesian is an important part of education. Indonesian as a knowledge manager in the 2013 curriculum has gone through a very long journey, since 1928 Indonesian has been the language of struggle. This understanding of language is in line with language education which has been championed by Indonesian due to the eroding sense of nationalism. The method of writing this article is literature study by exploring various scientific works related to this topic. The implementation of Indonesian as a knowledge manager in elementary schools is characterized by two opposite views. Pro views that Indonesian should be a science teacher in elementary schools, the approach in the 2013 curriculum that applies an integrative thematic is very appropriate for teaching text-based Indonesian. The counter view of the implementation of this policy is because the application of Indonesian in the 2013 curriculum does not involve much artistic values contained in literature. The essence of learning Indonesian is knowledge that must be given to students in order to teach them how to communicate well. Such communication can be made either orally or in writing, all to understand and respond to local, regional, national and global situations. This is one of the reasons learning Indonesian must be given at all levels of education, especially in elementary schools because it is the foundation of this learning.
