Abstract

In the Covid-19 pandemic situation, learning at school was hampered, and one of them was PPKN lessons. The alternative used by PPKN teachers at YAS Sindangkerta High School in learning is to use WhatsApp media. The purpose of conducting this research was to determine the effect of using WhatsApp media during the Covid-19 pandemic on PPKN lessons at SMA YAS Sindangkerta. The research method used is descriptive quantitative research using a survey method, as well as collecting data using a questionnaire. The sample in this study amounted to 33 students with the entire population, namely class XII, totaling 217 students. The results of the study were seen from the t Hypothesis Test which showed that the significance value of using WhatsApp media in the coefficient table was 0.001, less than 0.05. This means that the use of WhatsApp media during the Covid-19 pandemic had an effect on being used in Civics learning. The result of the Correlation Coefficient test is the Pearson Correlation value of 0.543, which means that the correlation level between the two variables is moderate.

Abstract

Kepmendiknas No. 044/U/2002, the government provides a forum for the community to participate and channel their aspirations in supporting education through the Board of Education at the district level and the School Committee in each education unit or group of education units (schools). With the existence of the Education Council and school committee, the level of concern and participation of the community in helping the government realize quality education is expected to be better and increase to realize community-based education. Implementation of Kepmendiknas No. 044 / U / 2002 there are several problems that need to be resolved immediately, including: (1) Not all communities and education stakeholders in the regions understand Kepmendiknas No. 044 / U / 2002 concerning Education Councils and School Committees; (2) Not all districts and schools have implemented Kepmendiknas No. 044/U/2002 as appropriate; (3) There are still many people who do not understand the School Committee, and consider the School Committee to be the same as the Education Organizing Auxiliary Board (BP3); and (4) The impact of the Board of Education and the School Committee has not had much effect on improving the quality of educational services and learning outcomes. With the decentralization model of education, schools as educational units that have been a very passively empowered need to be encouraged to become strong, independent, professional institutions in providing optimal services to students and the community. This is the core of school-based management (SBM) which is applied especially in primary and secondary education in the country. One of the most important elements in this management is the role of society represented through boards of education and school committees.

Abstract

Kongres Pemuda kedua tahun 1928 yang mendeklarasikan Sumpah Pemuda merupakan salah satu tonggak peristiwa sebelum terbentuknya Indonesia sebagai suatu negara bangsa tangga 18 Agustus 1945. Artikel ini membahas tentang eksistensi Sumpah Pemuda dalam ketatanegaraan Indonesia, dan implementasi konsepsi Sumpah Pemuda dalam konstelasi berbangsa dan bernegara Indonesia. Metode penelitian yang digunakan peneliti sebagai “pisau” analisis dalam karya ilmiah ini adalah metode historis, yang mendeskripsikan secara tuntas semua permasalahan berdasar data dan fakta yang diinterpretasikan peneliti. Adapun langkah penelitian dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan 4 tahapan, yaitu: heuristik, kritik, interpretasi serta historiografi.Implementasi dari Sumpah Pemuda dalam aspek Bahasa Indonesia, sebenarnya merupakan hal yang paling awal dibanding dengan dua aspek lainnya (tanah air maupun bangsa) disamping hal yang paling mudah diimplementasikan dalam tata kehidupan secara perorangan orang Indonesia baik secara langsung maupun tidak langsung (rakyat Indonesia waktu itu) maupun oleh organisasi-organisasi yang ada masa Pergerakan Nasional. Peringatan Sumpah Pemuda dalam panggung sejarah NKRI sampai tahun 2022, setiap tanggal 28 Oktober merupakan salah satu bukti dari makna pentinya arti berbangsa, bertanah air dan berbahasa nasional yang bisa merupakan faktor integrative dan kelanggengan Indonesia sebagai negara bangsa. Namun bukan berarti NKRI akan selalu mempunyai tingkat Ketahanan Nasional yang stabil hanya dengan selalu memperingati setiap tahunnya, perlu adanya kebijakan dari pemerintah diperkuat melalui legislasi kewilayahan/tanah air, penguatan nilai-nilai berbangsa dan bernegara serta pembinaan Bahasa Indonesia yang terus menerus (baik dalam aspek formal maupun aspek non formal di masyarakat).

Abstract

Amidst the age of globalisation, the younger cohort confronts the adverse repercussions of online loans, necessitating a prudent strategy for managing them. The implementation of Pancasila education has been recognised as a viable approach to cultivate a resilient younger generation capable of confronting the adverse consequences of the Society 5.0 era. The study emphasises the significance of character education in the execution of policies, as it can establish a solid basis for the younger generation to confront these difficulties. Moreover, research indicates that internet gambling is a societal issue with a substantial adverse influence, particularly on the younger demographic. The negative consequences encompass the propensity of the younger cohort to exhibit indolence in their professional endeavours, as well as the diversion of financial resources that ought to be allocated towards progress, instead being channelled into gaming activities. This highlights the necessity of moral education, as imparted through Pancasila, in cultivating responsible and ethical individuals in financial management. In addition, the incorporation of ethical principles demonstrates that Pancasila education might facilitate the cultivation of empathy and altruism among the younger population. Therefore, Pancasila education plays a crucial role in shaping a resilient and accountable younger generation in confronting the adverse effects of online loans in the Society 5.0 era.

Abstract

One of the accelerations to realize the process of building the nation and character is through the 9-Year Education Policy. This study aims to examine the differences in the influence of the characteristics of committee members on schools on the role of school committees in managing the development of school facilities and infrastructure in public junior high schools in Bandung regency. The approach used in this study is a quantitative approach with data processing techniques through the Multiple Classification Analysis (MCA) model. The results of this study revealed that the role of the School Committee in the Management of the Development of School Facilities and Elementary School Facilities was classified in the 'Good Enough' category. There is a significant difference in the influence of age, employment status, salary, and educational background on the role of the school committee in managing the development of school facilities and basic school facilities. Meanwhile, gender does not have a significant difference in influence, so the implication is that it is necessary to develop a model of empowerment in the community by paying attention to aspects of the recruitment of school committee members, the cooperation of school committee principals, and schools; and the demands and needs of the school.

Abstract

This study explores the role of Pancasila education in strengthening the nation’s moral sovereignty in the era of Society 5.0, where digital technology development has brought significant transformations to all spheres of social and economic life. Aiming to what role of Pancasila-based education play to shape students’ moral characters in the face of the moral and social challenges stemming from technology innovations, it mainly focused on how Pancasila-based education is able to strengthen the character of the students in collaboration with Pancasila moral in relation with sociology and social change. The research approached a qualitative method with structured interviews as its instruments, involving three of open-end structured interviewees who are purposively selected: education professionals, technology professionals, and non-formal educators. The results demonstrate formal and non-formal educational institutions are still insufficient to instill Pancasila values in the students, so they use the technology in wise and ethical ways. Furthermore, digitalization fosters more benefits, but not well-regulated with strong moral base will lift up the risk of ethics degradation and misinformation. All three interviewees agreed that moral values should be synergized between education institutes, society, and governments to effectively implement it in the digital age. The practical implication of the results is proposing education policies and regulations to minimize the negative impact of technology development. This research contributes to the moral education literature in the digital era and suggests further research directions on innovative teaching methods and adaptive policies in education due to technology advancements.
